This is the most beautiful model bike I have ever seen, the 1/4 scale would make a great display in the living room for any Ducati lovers!

I bought this a few months ago and am currently building it with an Ebay upgrade kit replacing a lot of the screws with small bolts and nuts that match the real bike more closely. You went so much faster than I am going. I'm going very slowly and taking my time and really enjoying the process, learning more about the bike and just enjoying the journey. You had a lot of good tips in this video that I will come back and look at such as the brake caliper banjo bolts and the rotor assembly. Also, great tip about the tires.

It looks so real that I would expect finding oil and fuel in the kit as well.

I just ordered this kit and all the scale hardware and decal upgrades. The plan is to paint everything as well, as the plastic detracts from the realism- and even the color of many of the metal parts just isn't "right."
Thanks for taking the time to make the video!

Absolutely true. I have it as well as the lotus, a bugatti classic and Alfa. There is a transkit available for the Ducati but is twice the price of the kit.

I bought one of these kits a few weeks ago and it came in with a pretty nasty ding on the box. Now seeing this video I have the incentive to build this beauty! Wonderful job!

I'm a big Ducati fan so when this popped up I had to order it. They only made 1500 worldwide so it's very rare. It will go very nicely with my 1/8 scale models.
The kit arrived today. The pictures don't do this justice. The box is massive. If you have the means to get this kit you should.

Can’t wait to build mine. There is a guy on ebay that sells a couple upgrades. One is a screw kit that looks like it addresses the black screws on the engine you pointed out and slickly remedied. The other is a small decal upgrade. As if this kit needs it lol. Thanks for sharing and keep em coming!

I had no trouble assembling my forks, but I also had a 12inch long micro screwdriver that I bought from ACE. That is a must for quick and easy fork assembly on this kit. Without it, I would have had the same issue you did.

Sand the center-most area of the tires to about 1/4 to the edge(close to the rim) to give that "race used look". Or to the actual edge. Obviously your choice.

What a great model! One idea for getting those tyres on the rims: use a lubricant like tyre soap. That's what's normally used to change motorcycle tyres. Might work here as well? Just an idea I got.

I have mixed feelings about the Pocher kits. First off, their scale size makes them instantly impressive and 1000 parts is a milestone compared to plastic kits.Mind you the prices knocks them out of the park for me and I'm not really into anything diecast and pre-painted takes the challenge out of building. Pochers' Idea is to simplify without gluing and pre-painted makes the appeal to a larger market welcoming those who aren't really model builders per say. Also, hexegon screws would be accurate and it wouldn't have killed them!

Great build, should be relatively easy to complete. What puts me off (as well as in some Tamiya's kits) is the use of phillips screws everywhere, which looks a bit amateurish, to say the least. Hex socket screws would me much more appropriate. Their price is peanuts compared to the price of the whole product.
