BIG UPDATE & SEASON 2 - Century: Age of Ashes

- Century: Age of Ashes just released their plan for future content. The game posted a list of new content they're working on. A lot of exciting stuff will be added very soon. In this short video I'll wrap up their post and my thoughts about these additions.

I’d like to see a siege game mode, similar to Star Wars squadrons where you attack each other’s capital ships. Teams could attack each other’s castles.
That’s a great idea! Like spoils of war where you already have some kind of base to drop off your money, you could instead make these attackable. Let’s see if we can tell the devs this.
The riders need to talk, I want them to at least say something when using their abilities. This game is so quiet for a game about dragons fighting. There's a lot I want but man is it quiet.
They could not start with adding voice lines at the beginning of the match. The have selectable tag lines now, maybe make a voice over for them?
New player here, no need now to rush the dragon pass but I almost complete it
Honestly i think one of the biggiest issues is rank. They need to balance it out. Im new and so are my friends we maybe played a week and everytime we ever do rank we are vsing the top 10 best players in the game and we were unranked at the time. This is just pushing newer players away from the game.
Even low ranks get matched against top 50+ players its not remotely fair and these players dont show mercy whats so ever they camp the hell out of you and ruin your kd/wl ratio making newer players not want to even play. Can obviously say get good or stay out of ranks but neat rewards are locked behind the rank system and its just insane to match up players who have few hours in the game against ones with hundreds/thousands of hours who are top 1-500 its not a good match up in any circumstance (these top players are also almost always premade making it even more unfair)
Obviously this probably isnt a problem to most people especially the ones who have stuck around for a long time and got better at the game. But i do think the player base would be bigger if these vet players werent getting matched up against newer players all the time and harshly whooping them across the board to drive them off.
I think the more content there will be in the main modes, the more people will stick to the game. So maybe they should even disable ranked for some time, get some great content and a addition of a good amount of players. Those players get better the more they play, then add ranked back in. Just more hype, the core game is fantastic, it’s unique and refreshing in a space of many games who don’t innovate anymore.
I love it no lie just wish it was more character's and different breeds of dragons to choose form, and it need a story mode like all other games!!
We definitely could use some more customization options, as well more in depth lore. I think with the dragons as main subject you could create a wonderful stories with unlocks which could transfer over to the pvp side of the game.
They need to get a house of the dragon cross over
They could indeed do great crossovers, let’s hope they have the resources to bring us awesome content!

@@menacetosocietykennel Yes they confirmed this will be coming, expect it somewhere this season, although I have no date currently. But it looks like we're getting a lot of content in the coming months.
you should be able to customize a certain character for each class exactly how you want. so that its specifically your rider. makes the cosmetics matter more.

This gives me hope because I just started playing and enjoy it but after some research it kind of seemed like the Devs abandoned the game. Sadly as of today I haven't seen anything really Halloween themed
They have been a bit radio silence before this update on what they are working on, but since they brought out this information they’re more active again on communications. Bigger features are in the pipeline I think.
Do you know how many players will be able to play together in this pve mode together by any chance?
Unfortunately I don't know, could be a solo mode. But Co-op would be great if the could build it with other players in mind. I'll keep everyone updated when we know more :)

That's up to you, and how much you want to spend. Don't feel like it's a must.
This game was a little fun for maybe 10 minutes
