George, Oh wow, thank you so much. Just picked up our 2008 TLS from our mechanic who just repaired an exterior part that fell off the car. It was then when we realized that the radio didn't work. Hubby called Acura for a price quote for a new radio...$2500!!!! Within a few minutes we were talking about selling the car instead! I found your video and shortly thereafter our beloved radio (with Sirius XM) was working. We are sooooo grateful. Bless you!
Thank you so much for this video!!! Had the same issue and called the Acura dealer where they instructed me to press 1 and 6 at the same time which did not work for me! I opened the fuse box, located the fuse, took it out and now My radio finally gave me the option to put in the code, which I always had! I have my radio back thank you 😊
Wow! Many thanks, George. This quick fix worked on my 2008 Acura MDX. Radio had worked after battery replacement, but then stopped. I removed the 40 amp fuse that controls locks, interior lights and radio - locks and lights were working, but radio was not. I turned the car off when removing the fuse. Radio came right back on. You saved me 2 - 3 hours of labor ($195/hour here).

THANK YOU, GEORGE! I have a 2008 TSX. I was working on my interior lights and pulled the number 6 INTR LIGHT fuse to make sure it was good. I learned from another video that it is also the RADIO fuse (I don't have a specific radio fuse like the car in your video).
The process for my TSX was a little different, but I was able to figure it out and get my radio working again. THANKS AGAIN!!

George, thank you so much! I tried literally everything, but did not even consider that the fuse might be blown from jump starting the battery, but it now makes sense because nothing was happening when I tried to turn on the radio. I visually checked the fuse again and what do you know it was blown, no continuity. A trip to the auto store and my radio is working beautifully!

This method works for other types of cars i have a chevy blazer and this worked. Remember to turn off the car take out the fuse. mine was radio and battery fuse number 19. Then turn the car back on and put the fuse in and the radio will power on

I think this might finally be the answer to my problem... my car is showing all the same symptoms... I took the fuse out yesterday while the car was OFF, but I will try today while it’s on and hope for the best... I’ll let y’all know my results in a bit

Oh no! I'm out in my car right now and I did it but it's not working. It says code and it had an ex by it. I have a 9 and a 7 in my code at the end. Now it says code with three x's and it still won't come on. Do you know what that might be? I checked my fuse and it was good

Question, every time I get work done on my car my NON FACTORY radio doesn’t power on. I end up back at pro line to reset it and they charge me. Do you think this will work on my 2009 Kia Sportage? Remember I took out the factory radio and put in a new radio, amp and kicker. Thank you.

thanks for the vid....Just fixed my xtrail 2013 car DVD player issue with this trick...although the fuse in the bottom panel didn't help....I had to remove the DVD player out and reseat the FUSE which was behind the DVD player.....

Hello I'm having problems with both the radio and the navigation it was working maybe 3 hours ago then I got back in my car and my shifter went to lock mode and nothing was working I can start the car but can't shift over and my radio wasn't working or my navigation

ALTERNATE SOLUTION - My daughters 2005 Acura TSX had the same problem but the fuses were all fine & the amplifier was also fine. We removed the stereo and one of the wiring harnesses that goes between the stereo and the amplifier had come half way unplugged. I pushed the plug back in until it clicked and the stereo was fixed!

Thank you, I had to reset the INT LT fuse instead of the audio Amp, but the result was the same.
Do you mean Interior Light? Mine does not work still. I think the power button has broken.

Hey man. I did the same exact thing you done and I still got nothing. I know my radio ejects disk. But nothing else. So I'm assuming it works. I dont have the stock amp in the car. I took that out. Also. I have played the radio without the amp. I've check all fuse and change relays. Still I got nothing

Mine nothing has worked anymore the first time I just disconnected the batter for a like 5 min and worked now nothing works. If you can live without the navigation and nothing showing on screen of radio stations. Then just press power and press the numbers on bottom until you hear them sounds press cancel and type your radio code. I got my music stations back luckily . So I’m ok . Hope this helps someone .

I have an '06 TL and my navi is blacked out, radio works but no display of radio info only wrong time. Yes this happened after a battery change. You mentioned reset the navi module...how exactly does one do that? Any help with this would be great its been driving me crazy.

It shouldn't matter. I had the exact same issue and I just now fixed it by watching this video. I even bought a new oem head unit thinking it was the issue but after taking everything apart same thing happened.
Make sure the car is started then pull the fuses and put them back.
