Those are kickass badass mallets. Excellent video
Thanks Hark Opi I’m glad you enjoyed. I loved how they turned out 🤗👊🏻
Wanted to see a few UA-cam clips for enjoyment and inspiration and after 4 videos with either an overly chatty woodworker or some weird background music I felt a bit «evhausted». I am confident those videos were great and informative but it all vanished in the constant yapping about non-woodworking related stuff and the horrible elevator-quality music.
Then, what a breath of fresh air it was to watch your superb video Sir! You have got it down both as a great presenter and a great editor. Looking forward to see more from you Sir! Ten thumbs up!
Thank you so much for the kind words. it's people like you that keep me inspired to get back in the shop.

Hey Chad, I really liked your video, it really shows a detailed step by step process, thank you.
Also the wood type used in each mallet, wow! Great mixtures dude, Gucci or Prada should endorse you😄just so the can put brand on your mallets 💰💰💰Thanks again.
Great video bud!

Thank you Tina
@@ChadPalmer Welcome
*FANTASTIC* 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I appreciate the kind words. Thanks for watching. :)
Looks great. Keep it up. What finish did you use?
Hi again! Yup.... im loving the mallets man. Thinking I'd try one for the father in law for Christmas. Obviously some thought needs to be put in the top of the handles width in relation to the size if the wedges......any advice? Love your channel Chad.
Cheers!
Beautiful project! Is there a reason why ya make the wedges with the grain going the way you did? Not criticizing just asking cuz I don’t know. Thx.
Glad you enjoyed. I don’t think your criticizing at all. I find when I do it the way I did they are stronger and last longer. Thanks for watching amd asking 🤗👊🏻🙏
@@ChadPalmer merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you as well 🤗
Love the mallets. What kind of finish did you apply to them?
Sorry for the late reply. Glad you enjoyed the video. I actually tried two different types. I did poly on one then the other I used Odies oil. I like playing around with different finished with shop projects. 😊👊🏻
Great work. quick question can I use soft wood for mallets or just hardwood?
Glad you liked the video Sheila. I personally wouldn’t use soft wood because you want use and abuse these mallets. The stronger the wood the harder and longer they will last. Please reach out if you have further questions 🤗👊🏻
@@ChadPalmer Thank you for the great advice and keep up the good work. Love your positive attitude and hard work. Being in a wheelchair and a woodworker must come with challenges and you seem to do great work.
I've made a few of these. but I've found with the last 2, when I put the wedges in the top the handle has pushed to one side. making it not straight. any tips for this?
Those are some sexy mallets 😝
Lol thanks Caitlin :)
If you sell these, what kind of clients want to purchase them? Thanks in advance.
when I sell them most people use them in their wood shop. I find some people would rather just buy one instead of making one. Not sure why because I love making my own tools in the shop. Thanks for watching.
What are the sizes of the wood
Sorry to ask but what do you mean. the dimension of the mallet ?
@@ChadPalmer dimensions of the wood for the head
You really need to step up your safety processes! Never use your hands to push the wood you are cutting! Get your self some push sticks and push blocks. Trust me your fingers are the only ones you have! Nice mallet.
I 100% agree with you. I’ve been trying to use my push stick more. Thanks for the great feed back and watching 🤗🙏
