I accept all the Points except the Colorgrading part at 6:12
In a professional Workflow you need to deliver in the Format your shots has been send to you. If it is Log you need to redistribute a log clip with the mattes of the VFX to the colourist. Because it is his job.
So you need to match everything into you Composition to the colorspace and gamma of clip you are working on. And having a colormanaged workflow like Aces is gonna help with that.
So VFX then Colorgrading. Not grade first and then VFX.
ah, u answered my quostion before i ask. thanks
Depend on HOW UR doing it... usually just an andjustment layer for actual cc the color grade idv clips
Thankss, Best Channel in this world 😍

I only have two channels that I instantly click like on just as the video starts, knowing already it will be good. This is one of them!
Aww was doing that things every video and even didn't saw it. Thx guys 💛
Let's go! Creative Wednesday is back. ❤
You will be creative and learn a lot here.
Hi sir big fan
I'm very new on the vfx scene, so i'm still learning myself. Masking is still a challenge but i'm getting better at it. I made 20sec short that took almost 2h due to editing, adding effects etc *it was made using 2 film clips..so cutting up/piecing pieces, exporting a few times to check for black screen transitions...etc* time confusing but the end was pretty funny and pretty interesting. it was also the first time i ever had to cut up more than 1 clip while editing.
Back then, I made a 10sec VFX video that took me more than 5hours. I hate Masking but I can't do rotoscope.
@@thirdvillage2109 crazy! I havent really tried rotoscoping yet. I did a funky 8sec video about siren head in an elevator footage. Giving myself masking experience lol
@@muajin Yes we can do a lot of things with Masking but it takes time. You know that feel when you forget to click the animate mask button.
@@thirdvillage2109 or forget to click the initial mask start on the first frame. You get to the end only to notice it saved the mask on the last frame only lol
Rotoscoping is pure hell. My current project has 2-10 assets that each need to be rotoscoped in about 6 of the movie's 9 minutes. That is a lot of frames. Key framing is great but pretty much every frame requires at least some adjustments. Lesson: never roto.
You guys are awesome 😎😎
Thankyou ♥️♥️
Thank you for another excellent video. #5 Organisation, suggestion. Add markers to your layers and add notes to those markers. Stop trying to memorize 00:01:22:17 and what is supposed to happen there. Organisation is not only to streamline your process, but makes it's so much easier to send your project to another artist without making them wish they were dead.
Hi jordy haha I learn a lot from you guys. ☺
nice one man
Me boutta go make mistakes so that he makes another video with more rhan 7 mistakes
Nice bro
Thank you so much I’m learning from you here, and never laugh at you
This video will help us for our mini movies

….why would I do that?
Good advertising with any tips!
Good video
Cool a new video
A good tip is use hifilm for beginners if AE seems complex
Pls let's continue the cinebattle🙏🙏😂😂😂

can you make tutorial on "
how to fix premiere pro no audio in different ways?"
I know the physics mistake left and right, knowing animations principals really helps you fix that, an example for a mistake I've seen almost at every tutorial on UA-cam, someone jumps and a frame hold version of them shoots up, the acceleration comes from nowhere and even worse, it comes a few frames after the apex.
Learn basic animation principals, you'll get better
I think the biggest mistake is presenting the VFX by itself instead of the VFX serving a story.
Also, make sure the angle of the VFX is as close to the angle that you would use if there was no VFX required.
For example most of the time when using split screen, people tend to shoot a wide frontal view, but that's not really a natural angle, go for the angle you would go with if you really had the same person twice in real life
We’ll vex is MORE of making the story look cool LOL... making a story is called filmmaking
@@GamesForNoobs well, I think VFX is about enabling you to make stories that otherwise wouldn't be possible

2:31 What if Party Thor ("Party Pooper") Reference
ALSO, another important tip in general I think! Now this mostly applies to, y'know, not super computers, BUT you should (correct me if I'm wrong) typically export your VFX clips out and then re-import THOSE back into your final video. It makes the final rendering easier (in my case at least), because instead of dealing with tons of effects AND the main clips, your computer's just dealing with videos!
Unknown??
Pls do a tutorial on how to do Thor's Godlike landing in wakanda plssss
_How The Hell Jordy Knows, That He Is My Favourite Host !_ 😯
Lol
GG
The last tho is the most important thing in VFX
A trainer☺️
I ALWAYS FORGET THE COLOR GRADING PART
I have a simple animation that I always wanted to know how it was made it's in the end of League if legends wild rift it's been typed with lighting effect I tried but I couldn't with Saber effects
Suggestion: The new iPhone 13 with cinematic mode is about to come out, if you guys can afford it, I would love to see camera tricks using that phone
Lol if they can afford it ahaha bruh they have like a 40k camera
My favourite host is Lorenzo 😂

yeah I'm suck at organizing
can you guys giveaway that computer
personally favourite and i need it too. coz i have a pc built in 2004 or 2005 something
I think jordy has got a bit to much coffee today... probably caused by that jucy rtx 3060
3060 beast?
Jordyyyyyyyy I spent 26 hours on a video project and submitted it this morning, if only I had the project next week LMAO, I could've used these 😭 oh well, maybe next time! LMAO
(EDIT: The only three of these I had down packed was organization for the most part, color grading, and interactions somewhat, LOL)
These are like workflow tips lol not ACTUAL TIPS
@@GamesForNoobs I know! But they still applied lol, I spent four hours on one shot and overextended myself instead of doing test shots for certain things I needed, for example. A lot of the tips were helpful! Aaaaand they might have helped me not spend 26 hours on the thing LMAO 😅
LOL I think I made every one of these mistakes on my current project.
Need to animate something fall realistically? Just film yourself dropping something and use that as a reference.
Same goes for stuff flying across the screen, just throw shit. Not literal shit tho..
Reference shots are the most valuable things when animating stuff.

"Be a good boy and organize" surely that was relationship advice? No?
