Jordy: “save time with shortcuts ”
Also jordy: “edit the video 2dn and 3rd time “ 😂😂❤️❤️
"decided not to go to film school, so you're stuck with me"
And coming out way ahead :D
Absolutely love how you edit your videos man. One of my top youtubers to watch for editing and presentation for sure. Look at that SMILE!
1)organise
2)use shortcuts
3)edit in version
4)test audience
5)look at editing technique that trending
6)always finish your video before sending to t.a or client
7)always take 2 steps ahead
Editor should be given more importance because he is the one who builds the story by editing over and over again
that doesnt make sense
@@GamesForNoobs it does. What he's saying is that the editor is the reason the story all connects. With the wrong editor you'll get bad color gradients, videos will be in the wrong order, etc. and he also mentions the editor edits over and over again and that's because when a group of friends or a smaller audience sees the video and doesn't like it they'll have to redo the entire edit
And editors aren't given enough credit
director, cinematographer and editor play equal and vital role in bringing a story onscreen. So importance should be given equally
Check our page and use our copyright free content
@@madhankumarm9495 sure but the editor is almost always missed out on (cinematographer too but not as often) so he's saying he should have more importance meaning the same amount as the cinematographer and the director
ask around and see how many of your friends know famous movie's director and how many of them know their editors
Confirmed many things I already put into practice plus some other helpful new ones and incredibly funny! Thanks for that! Already shared with some other editors!
Your inserts are so funny. And can't stress enough the fact that your videos are a blessing!
Always likened editing to cooking personally and great to see you guys agree!
Always helpful, thank you Jordy!
Great video as always Cinecom team! Thank you for even MORE important info about editing!!!
Actually, I have a question, as you probably know, the Canon R3 will release next month, will you review it on your channel?

Time saving hack in UA-cam
@@kawodakai571 I'm on UA-cam to serve and entertain everyone
Thank you for your tips
The biggest one you missed is “Version Up”. Make sure every time you start to make edit adjustments you duplicate the sequence and give it a new version #. I can’t tell you how many times I needed a clip that I removed and I can go back to an old version and copy paste. I also like it for tracking purposes, how many revisions did this client ask for, etc.
I have that exact mouse. OMG. It's awesome - except for the lint gathering -.-
But the profiles for each and every software is amazing.
Honestly, the only thing I'm slacking on is having a test audience and trending edits...
My videos post-February 4th, 2022 an especially past during 2023, has improved way more than just 1 or 2 ways...
My general editing skills have improved, color correction skills are currently being improved upon immensely, with story recreations, I'm trying out various editing styles, and soon (by soon, I mean starting around 2023 because that's how far I have videos backed up), I'll be experimenting with adding stories and narratives to my gaming videos to separate myself from the crowd...
After all of that, if I learn how to properly do thumbnails, title videos, make descriptions, properly add SEOs to my videos, and get into the habit of advising my videos when they come out, I will bet that by 2025, I will be at around 1,000 returning and new subscribers on my channel.
Though, I could be wrong but I'm practically trying to do what Dream did to grow by researching the algorithm and using it to my advantage...
Thank you!
Another awesome video
I love editing and since I didn't go to film school I'm here stuck with you heh hee. I want to become better storyteller ! I suck. It's a mess. Thanks 👍
good job thank you
5:15 o i suffered from that...it is so relatable

Can I have a picture of how you set your light to have your background so dark while you are so straight focus in front? Please🙏🏾🙈
3:29 I got so afraid at this point that the monitors might fall. GOD
In my editing course my mentor tells to watch your videos in the free time and even they played your video once in the class
Say "Hi" to your mentor from us 👋
@@CinecomCrew Definitely. Thank you...
haha hilarious video :)
The problem with sending the client a finished project is that sometimes he wants to change something that will take hours to change...
and if I ask him in the middle of the editing about it, it will save a lot of time.
What do you think?
I go half way or so. I make the animation graphics in photoshop/illustrator but dont animate them, such small things saves times with smart clients, but there are super dumb ones who need finished color graded animated end product during first cut. I charge them more.
totally agree. i hate sending an all the way done thing with super intense/detailed cuts and edits for them to want to take that part out. I make sure the 'bones' of the edit are done, maybe a super light grade, and try to get what they like/dont like first before getting into the intricate stuff. And like he said i preface it with "i know the color needs work and the outro isnt done but let me know what you think" or whatever
My least favourite thing is when they say “can you _just_ make this change” because they think it’s a small edit without realising how long it will actually take
kudos to Timo!!
Awesome video
How do I make a echo motion tile of sill object (basically I want to make Re entry effect for 2D game )
I have a question about freepik site
Can I use any free downloadable photo from there and be safe to use it anywhere UA-cam channel for example?
1. Organization
2. Develop ways to save time
3. Always edit a “version 2”
4. Test Audience
5. Trending editing techniques
6. Always be two steps ahead
7. Always finish your video (before sending it to your test audience / client
You are my inspiration
Love from Darjeeling❤️
The only place to watch two UA-cam's Greatest Series 😉

Please make a video on how to export high quality IG reels
nice tips
These are the best,I have ever listen. Now my work flow is very smooth.
You guys should make a video exclusively talking about shortcuts
I go to film school and I’m still stuck with y’all! You teach a lot they don’t.
What film school?
Yeah I know what you mean, I'm gonna graduate in Dec and I feel like I've learnt more from UA-cam. I feel like I wasted my time & money😭
Let's go! Always looking for ways to become a better creator :)
I wish I had time to do 2 edits. Maybe the sponsor should have been Fiverr, to send the second edit off hahah
What is the sound effect from 2:19 called?
Love ittt
Nice white font that you used on your video. What font is it? Oh ja je spreekt Nederlands!!!!
every cinecom series is youtubes greatest series
very cool
I love the way he says " its Jordy from cinecom" then looks at the invisible script to remember what comes after.
maybe . . . just maybe . . there is a script paper there, which is removed in post
awesome
Awesome
