I've but an exhaust system on pretty much every vehicle I've ever owned. From loud to tame. I also thought a muffler delete was ghetto but I did it to my 2011 f150 5.0. It cost me 50 bucks and I love it. It sounds great but not overly loud and no drone. I just bought a 2011 f250 6.2 and it had an exhaust system on it. I have no idea what it is but it sounds pretty good. Someday I'll crawl under it and see if I can figure out what it is.
Have two pipes. One with the muffler connected, one straight piped. You can press a button inside the cab, to actuate a door that switches between the two. When you are traveling / cruising or getting it inspected, change over to muffer pipe. When mudding and givin her all the way, change it to straight pipe. Sounds like a lot of work but man it is one of the best things I have ever done
I have a 2011 f-250 6.2 xlt. Thinking of doing the same exact thing. Does it have any droning noise at highway speeds or does it sound bad at certain rpms?
Sounds beautiful!
Gas mileage difference?
How does it sound in cab under load. (I.e hauling a heavy trailer)?
???????????????? did this effect your fuel econ ???? mine is already shit at like 10mpg 2012 6.2 F250 Gasser
Notice any power differene?
Did it help gas mileage?
I did that with my old Chevy, the drone in the cab drove me crazy and highway speed.
I’m putting a glass pack muffler on my 6.2 raptor and I hope it sound good
It'll be quiet.
YES KING
One question 🙋♂️
This truck f250 has the eco-boom engine ?
No that's not an ecoboost
Sounds good
Is that...legal?

Ok?
What is the outside diameter of the tailpipe please.
Cool video of your truck
Have you had any “check engine light” issues? I’m thinking of doing this to my ‘21 model
I put about 10k on it after this and never had any issues with check engine
@@TennesseeCawood Thank you Sir, I appreciate the info
Thinks for the vid I have a couple questions how dose it sound around 30 and 60 mph and what is the pipe size
3”
Thanks for video. Did you notice a loss of lowe end power?
No.
A gain, if anything.
1 yr later, do you still like it?

No drone at all , just sounds aggressive as it’s going through the gears and mellows out at highway speed
@@TennesseeCawood thanks!!
