Got the flu at the moment, no voice - hence the no talking. Heading back out for a 3 day trip now, mixture of forest and coast. Videos out soon, thanks for watching - Mike
Not picked up courage enough to go wild camping but thanks to you I have now built my very own bush shelter with open fire, log store etc in my garden. I can't wait to spend my first night out there.
Just want to give a great big thank you for creating this content. _A lot_ of the other bushcraft channels don't seem to understand the concept of Filming angles and Audio control.
I agree but maybe some people just want to enjoy there time in the woods instead of paying so much time and effort with angles. This video is really good
I am really enjoying your channel Mike, I have to admit that the Bushcrafting videos are my favorites but I also enjoy your other content as well. You have grown your channel so fast, nearing 700,000 at this point, that is not an easy thing to do, like I said I enjoy your content and you seem like a man of high character, it would be so cool to spend a weekend camping with you and David eating and drinking like a king at the camp. To your continued success. Bob
I like the style of no talking. It catches the essence of being alone and immersing in your environment even for just a moment. I've been watching camping videos lately due to the quarantine and this video of yours is one of my favorites! Keep it up.
I’d rather watch videos like this than regular TV any day. So relaxing and organic. It must take a lot of effort setting up the camera shots etc but I think I speak on behalf of a lot of people when I say it’s worth it and thank you!
I'm sorry that you weren't feeling well, but of all of your videos, this one is my absolute favorite, and I often find myself revisiting it. The no-talking format is wonderful; "peacefully educational" is perhaps the best way to define this video. I have learned much from it even without the narrative. Please do more like this... I love it!!!
Hi Mike, I really don’t get the negative comments and the questions about dry leaves and fire risks. He’s got it under control people, don’t worry. Keep up the good vids Mike.
I really love your videos. They take me back many years to when I spent many hours almost every day in the woods. It was our "get out of mom's hair" activity.
You've inspired me to want to start accruing gear and doing this myself. I already do normal camping (usually at a campsite and just hike from there!) but that's nothing compared to this. Solo, peaceful, efficient, minimal gear, a fire, some food, tea, and a great night's sleep in the forest. I'm sold.
Hi Mike, that's a cracking idea for holding the center up not having that center post surprising how much more room. Cracking video as always cheers Gaz
You are so awesome! You bring back great memories for us old folks. Thank you buddy, show us how it is done right. Many blessings to you and your beautiful family.
Aw...Dear Mike...thank you for a great vid...learning by watching you...wow no commentary...hope you are well and it's always always good to hear your voice...though you are very good at expressing your teaching through the lens...thank you again...you are a very good man...
Hi Mike, stumbled upon your videos one hungover Sunday and just needed something easy going. Like your vids mate and inspired me to get back out there again, can't beat it. I think your Dad's top too. All the best Jim.
Siempre alucino con lo fácil que se clavan las piquetas en los vídeos...aquí el suelo es tan duro que incluso se doblan las de metal!!! Bonito video... saludos!!!
I love videos like this. You really get a sense of being there out in the peaceful solitude of the woodland. Like this guy, I really enjoy bushcraft as well, although my Bushcraft channel isn’t as big as this one, but I do enjoy making videos of my times out as well. They keep a record of the memory. I like the look of the location where this guy is. It looks a pristine woodland. This video captures the ambience of this place. Really nice.
Все такое новое.. непокоцаное... Видать, первый раз в лесу пацанчик, и сразу снимать свои достижения :) Молодец, подготовился, даже ситечко с собой взял :)
Love your video!! It was real! I like how you didn’t feel the need to have a narrative on going. After all the reason your out there is to hear the sounds of the great outdoors and not to bring the sound of the city there to ruin the peace and tranquility , well done!
Ok, I'm Swiss, we know cheese, but never, EVER, thought to do fondue with a camembert. This has to try! Thank you for breaking all taboos! And great videos also, really appreciate... :-)... C.
I kind of like this new style of letting nature do the talking. We're all quite familiar with your equipments and bushcraft routines so sometimes it feels not bad just to sit back and enjoy the essence of the woods. Great video.(though what really confuses me is the "help translate this video" on the upper right corner LOL)
Hey mike. I know you often get rocks or twigs to make your tie points but did you ever think about taking along super balls? You can get small ones that do not take up a lot of space and you’ll never need to worry about them ripping your tent or tarp. Cheers mate
Hey Mike, why not pick the sticks out of the leaves inside your tent and put your ground sheet over them? The leaves will act as insulation for your bedding and you'll sleep warmer. Just a suggestion. I have done this many times when primitive camping in cooler weather and it works well.
Got the flu at the moment, no voice - hence the no talking. Heading back out for a 3 day trip now, mixture of forest and coast. Videos out soon, thanks for watching - Mike
i hope that you get better soon thanks for the content
Prayers are with you brother!

This is the ASMR i enjoy
Thought you looked a bit under the weather, Mike. Gosh, sure hope you start to feel better soon. The flu is not a nice thing to have.
오늘도 많은걸 배우고가요
감사드려요^^/
No talking, no music, no trick camera shots - Awesome job, Mike! You definitely know the meaning of: Less is more!

Agree, smashing angles, great sound,
Hard work shines through,
Check out joe robinet his content is similar and often does long hauls
@@bradleykerry7652 I have...
bradley kerry Joe does some great videos but the audio is usually terrible. Mike's vids are shorter but the A/V quality is much higher.

Finally back to the good original content.
The most simple meals cooked over a fire, are the most rewarding.

In this case it was fine, but really, it's not worth the risk is it?

Those leaves must be pretty wet to feel it's ok to have a fire that close by. Good video overall. Shows some serious comfort in this style of camping
Yep they were soaked, I would have done a completely different fire setup if the ground was dry. Glad you like the vid
I enjoy the forest scenery
This video was so great. So relaxing to watch. Thanks Mike for sharing your adventures.
Seeing is the key to understanding how things are done. Excellent editing and story flow. Thanks Mike.

Not that i don't like your dulcet tones but the lack of any voices really adds to this video. Nice one!!
