Honestly when I got the first links of the Aishi lore, I assumed the condition a lot of the women had was because of a single traumatic incident one of the women faced in their bloodline. Like she experienced extreme types of neglect and abuse that she couldn't feel anything until she met her future husband, who healed her and made her 'right'. And because of the developed disorders she got from her trauma, it passed down within the women in her family and kinda snowballed into the current form of the disorder we see in Ayano Aishi. Like It gets worse and worse as it rolls down, as Ryoba didn't mind break Jokichi because she still had enough humanity left in her to feel bad. But Ayano? Sheesh. Cold hearted.

The thought of the Aishi and Saikou family members looking nearly identical is so funny to me bc just imagine being able to spot your enemy at anytime because of your family traits LMAO. Like imagine an Animal Planet retelling where it’s just, “the Saikou in turn was able to locate the predator Aishi due to the physical traits it possesses. How it may react may entirely depends on its current condition..” I can’t take this game seriously anymore 😭

I really like the lore, but I'm gonna have to agree on that. The Aishi's and Saikou's looking nearly identical is kind of ridiculous and a poor attempt at originality, especially with how "Mary Sue" both bloodlines are. Why can't there be SOME normalcy? It's entirely possible to have the families pass on very similar physical traits but still be distinct. If all Aishi's have "different personalities", surely that should appear in their appearances, too, otherwise the family is just making Ayano carbon copies.

@@BryansStuffYT I know my comment is kind of late but wasn’t there like a different ending for the 1980s mode where you could choose to break the curse and all that what happened to it? Kinda hate how you’re given the option to do stuff like that or just change it but when you play like the next version or the one that’s not 1980 they don’t give you the option to choose from what you did before like if you broke the curse ayano mom still kidnapped her father. Or if you choose not to murder one of the rivals and just decide to mix them up with someone else in 1980 mode but still by end of game or next ayano mom killed her rivals and kidnapped her senpai.

Hey I have a theory about what happened when the Saikou familiy kidnapped Jokichi
What we know about that is
1) Saicho knew about the Aishi condition
2) Some kind of tests were done to Ryoba
3) It made Ryoba wait to get pregnant
4) Ichiro (I think it's his name, Megami's dad) is significantly younger than Ryoba
5) Ichiro allows Ayano to murder people for some reason
What I think happened is that the tests that Ryoba made were about the Aishi specific traits like their their intelligence, super sharp vision, ability to fake normality...
The Saikou family being the most important family in Japan wanted to create the perfect human and saw parts of that perfection in the Aishis. After the tests were done correctly, Saicho forced Ryoba to wait until his son had a child to get pregnant (probably threatened to tell the truth to the police, which would immediately believed due to their influence) ; as Megami's mom charachter description says, they looked for the perfect woman to get with Ichiro. Now I don't know the timeline on the top of my head so maybe something doesn't add up but that pregnancy delay is due to the fact that Ichiro needed to grow and find a perfect wife (who I think passed similar tests to Ryoba). Once Megami's mom was pregnant, Ryoba was allowed to be too and that explains the fact resulting in Ayano and Megami being the same age despite their parent's age gap.
Once again test were done to the babies and the Saikou family declared that they could still get closer to perfection by combining the Aishi and Saikou's blood. Ichiro and Ryoba obviously didn't want to have intercourse or to have Ryoba pregnant so the baby was made in an incubator. It was the early 2000's and ADN modification is clearly not out of the table thus the third child has problem.
Now ask yourself, who is a year younger than Ayano and Megami, trusted by the Saikous, have silver hair and dead black eyes and act weird ? Shiromi of course ! The girl is in her first year in Academi and is already in the student council, she reacts to death like it was a stain on her shirt and is super ressourceful. Quite the perfect girl but really unstable, she's used to think that she could die anyday since she's a child (as I said, it was early to have a baby geow outside a womb). She has traits from both families

I think the delay in pregnancy was because of her senpai he wasn't ready to have kids when they first got together so you know both parents have to agree to have kids

A theory I like: Info-chan may have been part of the Aishi bloodline. The record tapes by the journalist states "As soon as we (him and his wife) met, she wanted to spend every waking moment with me. She wouldn't let me out of her sight, and got possessive if another woman so much as looked at me."
He also states about his daughter, "She spends all of her time on her computer. She bought it herself. She seems to have a lot of money for someone her age. I'm afraid to ask where it comes from. Sometimes she comes home with blood on her clothing. I can't tell if it's her blood or someone else's blood, I...try to stay out of her business."
Info-chan is always on her computer. She also assists Ayano in eliminating the girls. It was previously mentioned by Yanderedev that he might make Info-chan the "final boss," but it's just an idea he had.
In the game files, Info-chan also has the same last name as the Journalist.
I don't know if this theory is true or not, but it sure is interesting and has evidence to back it up.

y'all, off topic but... am I the only one who thinks the Saikou family is scary as a concept? Like, what I'm trying to say is that, they're basically everywhere in people's lives in the game, they're so impossibly wealthy, to the point that Saisho lets his daughter choose how to build akademi. Also it's unsettling how they dedicate their entire life to create a perfect human being, and the best CEO for the company (like for example what Ichiro and his sister, or Megami and his brother have been through for their entire childhood), or like the fact that they're aware of the fact that Ryoba committed murder but still let her around, posing a threat to akademi's people or to Buraza town in general. and another thing about the 'fun girl' theory, which sees Ichiro's sister, the true heiress of Saikou corp, as the fun girl ghost: this theory believes that when she refused to heir the company and was never seen again, it was because her father, Saisho Saikou, actually killed her.
Fun Girl and even Ichiko called each other "sister" (Fun Girl says so when you play around with some files while Ichiko says so as mentioned by the Headmaster in his tapes). By the time Ryoba's story starts, didn't Ichiko already graduate? So I don't know how these two things are connected much. Fun Girl said that she was sent in some sort of weird space due to the machine Saicho created and there was even an audience accompanied and by then, she disappeared. This machine apparently transcends time and space. She says that we can't find that machine in our world no matter where we search as it hasn't been invented yet. She told the player that it was because Fun Girl knew too much that led her father wanting her gone. However, Ichiko became aware of Fun Girl and left everything in order to find her and find a way to get Fun Girl back. That's when Ichiko left and we never receive any contact anymore. Saicho was likely very mad or smth (I don't remember). Idk but Ryoba may also be involved with the creation of this machine and that's how Ayano was born way later than supposed to be?
1:35 this makes me extremely curious as to where The First Aishi and her lover were from because from what we see, the concept of traditional husband and Wife roles seemed foreign to them. It makes me wonder if gendered roles and things like stereotypes, patriarchy, and assigned roles don't exist in their village which would make sense, since from what we see of the Aishi Family, they don't really care about gender or assigned roles. This seriously makes me curious as to where they're from before they came to Japan 👀 also it was said that Ryoba's mother had *two* daughters and that Ryoba attended Academi in order to set a good example for her younger sister
If that's the case, the place they're from was very progressive for the time

@@perro7047 apparently many clues suggest that Beldere-Chan, whose real name is Beldere Yanmont, is the ancestor of the Aishis, since after saving her Senpai from Dracula-chan she could have launched a curse on her descendants.

@@Jammystarligh5 It's because Ryobas mother/ayanos grandmother doesn't "exist" yet. Obviously she exists within the storyline, but hasn't been given a official name or appearance yet by yandere dev, therefore googling her isn't going to bring back much results
I wonder if the Aishi bloodline's "condition" could be traced back to some sort of extreme abuse or trauma endured by one of Ayano's ancestors that caused them to become impassive and numb. The cycle of abuse can unfortunately continue throughout generations, as it's very difficult to break, so it's likely that whatever trauma occurred was passed down from generation to generation, with it only progressively becoming worse and worse, and eventually leading to each person developing their own psychotic tendencies or urges, resulting in the deaths of many innocent people. I mean, I'm assuming that the actual lore will have supernatural elements, but it's interesting to theorize nonetheless.
I don’t think so I remember hearing or at least seeing during the early development or when the game was out after a few years and the 1980s mode came out it stated in the game that it was a curse. Cause again in the 1980s mode if you’re playing as ayano mom there is this character that states you could break the curse or you could allow it to continue and go on for generations. But that does sound interesting.

@@yukishiro3287 in the game? It’s been a while since I’ve seen the 1980s version I’m not sure if that would still be in there. Because the ending from how it was originally or how it was and how it is now or two different. I think it was one of the spirits Once you complete or do the whole entire week or kind of get rid of or put the rival with someone else. I’m not sure if that line in that character or just that scene altogether still there or if he took it out.

Maybe the reason why Ryoba waited til she was older to have Ayano is cuz well obviously I think it's good to have a stable job and income before having a child but also maybe it's so that she fully develops fully and emotionally so that, if Jokichi were to die while she was pregnant somehow, the wellbeing of her child would not be compromised by her haywire emotions? Maybe?

I think the Aishi family and the Saikou family bolth have their own "condition" running through their family.
Notice how the Aishi family all have dark grey hair/eyes, looking almost identical to eatchother. while the saikou family all have silver white hair and eyes, that also makes them look identical to eachother. I think there supposed to be like polor opposites rivaling eatchother. The saikous are the most wealthy and powerful people in Japan and believe their the epitome of a perfect family, while they believe the Aishis are a menace to society and should be exterminated (quoting megami).
Ryobas biggest problem was at the end of the true ending when jokichi was taken from her basement by saikou corp, and for ayano, Megami saikou is going to be her biggest rival and threat, along with the rest of her family.
Here's why it's so likely that the saikous also have a "condition" similar to the one the aishis have but with different symptoms. If you read about megamis backstory and the saikou backstory, but if you want a quick summary: Saikou family runs saikou corp, a trillion dollar electronic company. However the Saikous are all nutjobs and have a family tradition where every family member is given a pet hamster as a young child and after growing attached to the hamster over time, there forced to stab said hamster to prove their initially "worthy" and devoted to inherit the company.
So obviously there's definitely some kind of condition in the Saikou family where they all lust for being perfect, wealthy,powerful as possible. Even if they aren't initially born like this, they have all been groomed into it from the first saikou parents passing down there delusional beliefs and practices throughout every generation. Even if the condition is not genetically embedded, it's still unavoidable and un"cure"able just like the Aishis.
Ayano is forced to devote her life to taro so she can feel emotions, and Megami is forced to devote her life to train and become the CEO of Saikou corp.
imo I think it's sick how there bolth two schoolgirls fighting each other for their entire families legacy without even really knowing.
I’ve heard a theory that the Aishi condition had something to do with the Lust Demon so I’m wondering if there was a demon of pride that maybe the Saiko corp communicated with…

A great video on the Aishi clan. This family dates back to 1780 which was pre-Meiji period and it was Edo period when the clans still existed in Japan.

5:00 I actually remember bringing up this topic in a psychology Discord as a discussion topic (what could be the psycological explanation for thw Aishi's behaviors) (I found this topic interesting since it's said that not even psychology therapists know what is wrong with Ayano 'till this day apparently)
I remember someone mentioning bipolar since apparently, most Yanderes have it. MIGHT match with the "if a senpai dies, said Aishi could start killing anyone within range" which might fit with the bipolar thing (I think, a symptom of Bipolar, is that you'd either be all that bubbly and energetic, but the next moment you'd either be depressed, or hostile. Could be wrong though, since I don't know much about the condition honestly)
Have you watched the videos about the creator describing what ayano has and I also heard from the voice actor that plays ayano that she has obsessive love disorder
As someone with BPD, bipolar and BPD are two different disorders. BPD stands for Borderline Personality Disorder. With BPD the mood swings are rapid, and with bipolar they last weeks or months. There are many other differences but I won't explain all of it here. I guess BPD symptoms are kind of similar to how a yandere behaves sometimes but please don't go around calling people with BPD "irl yanderes" or something.

I watched this yesterday and I’ve gotta say I didn’t expect a video on Yandere Simulator.
just wanted to say that the reason the house had built a basement was because sakio corps company was adding renovations to people houses for free (i think it was bc of a flood? not sure why tho) and she had requested a basement to be added.

I'm so confused cause when I was checking Ryoba Aishi wiki, it is implied that she raped Jokichi and that's a lil to far for me.
