I've been a fan of the Simply Ageless since it first came out over 5 years ago. Great coverage and one of the best from the drugstore! I also like the one in the pump. I think they've updated the packaging on it a few times but it's a great product for lighter coverage. :)

I have loved the foundation in the tube....I haven't used it since they repackaged it but it's my favorite and has been since I discovered it a year ago. I swear I have tried a ton of different foundations but I think this is the best one for me. I have dry skin and am in my 30's. No cake face finally!! Haha now I want to try the "hockey puck" 😀

I just bought the foundation based on your recommendation; I am very fair (Casper the Ghost) and about to turn 45...love your channel, love this foundation! I was so close to buying the Guerlain foundation you have also mentioned, but just could not justify the price. So happy Cover Girl hasn't forgotten us GAW!!
I'm only 20 but with my dry skin I actually use a lot of products geared toward more mature skin. I've found that they usually have better ingredients, and coverage than the "trendy" lines that come out every few months! I want to try the cream foundation! Have you tried the Garnier rollerball depuffer concealer? Its a favorite of mine, so I need to checkout the Covergirl one.
I hope I look as good as you when I turn 43. You're 3 days older than me. 😜 I'm not too upset about turning 43. Like you say, it is an honor! I am a huge fan of Covergirl. It is a good product for a great price. Thanks for sharing!!

Happy pre-birthday!!! And you look so young!!! In advertising the biggest gripe I have is to see a 20 year old advertising anti-age products. I'm over 60 - I have shoes older than these girls. They could spread dirt on their faces and look good! So it's wonderful that Covergirl and Olay are starting to realize not everyone that loves makeup is 20. That foundation looks beautiful. Hi Marnie! I got the depuffer based on your recommendation from one of your older videos. The metal part does feel really nice on the under eye!

Love this video, Marnie! I'm 24 years old and I really, really love products geared more towards mature women and aging skin because they work SO MUCH BETTER on my dry skin and I prefer the finishes. My favorite foundation at the moment is the Covergirl + Olay Facelift Effect Firming Makeup. The color match is spot on, the finish is beautiful, the texture is great. Got it on sale at Ulta for $3! Best $3 ever spent, lol! Can't say enough good things about the Covergirl + Olay line. Glad you partnered with them AND love your transparency. Grace and peace.

Hi Marnie - I've been using the Cover Girl Simply Ageless compact foundation since it first came out and I'm very pleased with it. Cover Girl used to have a Simply Ageless cream compact blush - loved that as well, but I haven't been able to find it in quite awhile. Must have been discontinued. It's a real shame if it has. I also have dry skin and powder blushes just kind of "sit there" on my skin. Wish Cover Girl would bring it back.
Marnie, we are the same age and I feel the same way as you. It's a privilege to grow older. I've seen far too many people pass before their time, so we should be grateful for each day. You don't look good for your age, you just look beautiful. An early happy birthday!

I love the de puffer. I haven't tried the other ageless products yet. I think I'll try the the liquid. I'm in the market for foundation and you and I are the same age so I trust your opinions on makeup. I'm always worried about foundations caking up in little crevices etc. lol. Cool video

Since you like Covergirl, try their "intensify me" eye liner. I got it in my allure beauty box and have used it every single day since opening it. It's the easiest liner I have ever used.

I have been struggling trying to find a foundation that doest look horrific on my skin. The simply ageless “hockey puck” was the first foundation I ever tried when I stole it from my mom as a teenager. I have dry skin, I’ve tried other drugstore and high end foundations and honestly none compare to how nice the covergirl one is. It would be nice if they expanded their shade range though.
Keirstyn Karolyi I know this comment is a year old but I just purchased this Foundation and I purchased my shade and it comes out too light because of the white serum in it. I then bought two more in two darker shades and they still come off really white. I would love to make this work but I can’t get rid of the whiteness when I dip my blender or brush in it, unless I swirl my finger in just the darker Foundation part, which is difficult. If you have any tips, I would appreciate it! Thanks and take care!!
Jilly Ann aw man I’m sorry you had that experience! I have like ghostly skin so even the lightest one is actually a shade too dark for me, but I just blend it down my neck to minimize the look. Depending on where you buy yours I know places like Shoppers Drugmart (I’m in Canada) will let you return items if you don’t like them even opened ones, so maybe test a few more shades? Or if you’re just looking for a not too expensive Moisturising foundation the Nyx Born to Glow is pretty good and has a much larger range, and the L’Oreal Pro Glow (also the L’Oreal Infallible is supposed to be really good according to my mother and sister in law. My mother in law has dry mature skin and my sister in law has combination, I just haven’t tried it yet).

I remember you talking about this line before and I always think about buying it when I'm at the drugstore. Ben wanting to try the concealer, but I did try the Cover Girl + Olay stick concealer, an I felt a weird burning sensation all day while I wore it. I had no redness or reaction, but I was afarid that would have come after and stopped using it.

I used to use the "hockey puck" foundation, and loved it! Then my skin started reacting to it in a weird way so I had to stop using it. I don't know if they changed formulation in something (I used it daily for about 2 years) and was really bummed out that I couldn't use it anymore. I still use their concealer (in the pot) for my under eye area, and as an eye primer without any problems.
+Mary Cordes I'm fairly certain that they've revamped and possibly reformulated the foundations, but I would check the ingredients to see if anything has changed. No need to risk your skin!!

great info! The problem I rn into withdrgstore foundations is oidation.. I just picked up one and the lightest color was still orange based. It was not CG but i will check tat out as I have aging skin now. I have found that facial oils are my best friend. Take care!

I'm going to purchase the pump foundation, de-puffer, and primer. I have tried foundations that can be used on mature/younger skin but it never looks good on me. I've tried everything from brush/sponge combinations to every hyped primer. I hope this works.
Did you find the de puffer? Appears to be discontinued now, except for men?

+Forty Something Beauty It comes with a sponge, but I like using the Beauty Blender the best. The sponge works fine too.

kinda nervous that they revamped the formula on the primer lol the old one is my favvvorite and I'm only 19! Never too early to appreciate ageless formulas!

Yours is the best review I have watched, even if you are a beautiful YOUNG woman. I would like to see you do a review and "how to" on the "hockey puck", which I just purchased today. I do not understand why you need to get a tan before using it though.
Regarding the primer, how can you speak to the efficacy of a product that you do not use?
+Taylor Jameson I don't believe I did-I just said that it's great that we have a drugstore option for a primer that is supposed to help with hydration and longevity.
Well look at the travel size friendly hockey puck you can tell she only used it once. So how can we get a fair statement out of one time. Your videos are so clear now. I love them.
Marnie Goldberg - do you have any tips to make the hockey puck Foundation not come off totally white? I have three shades, one is my shade, and I had to buy two darker shades to offset the “whiteness” and they still come off almost white on my skin. Any tips for applying this to make it apply as the correct skin tone and not just completely white from the serum? Thank you and take care!! 🥰

I went to the Covergirl website, and they didn't have a way to figure out your shade for their products. Did I miss something?
I know your love for the Covergirl + Olay Facelift Effect foundation in the jar! I got hooked because of you, but I'm not seeing it on the shelves anymore. Is this 3-in-1 comparable? Or any others like it? It was a holy grail of mine, and I'm sad that I can't find it.
+Samy Rae It was a holy grail of mine too! Sadly, they're discontinuing it. I'm so sad!! This isn't comparable in finish or formulation. I still haven't found anything else like it.

+Samy Rae They're decent at staying power (at least 6-8 hours) but they're not billed as long-wearing. I can still find the FLEF at my grocery store, so look around your local stores or try Amazon!

+Denise Marie I like both lines, but the It Cosmetics has the high SPF, which makes it great for wearing outside in the sun. The Simply Ageless is only similar in that it has some skin benefits to using it and is slightly moisturizing...you know, as I'm typing this I'm realizing that they are kind of similar!

I can't wear silicones either. Have you found a silicone-free primer that works for you? I've tried one from Korres (broke me out) and another from Tarte (wasn't impressed). It's so frustrating not being able to use any of the great primers available. As far as Cover Girl is concerned, I like the Advanced Radiance foundation.

+Susan J. It's still a teeny weeny too dark for me, but when I wore it tried it with fingers and with a beauty blender. Both worked well but the beauty blender worked great!
I am 29 and I have been using this for years. Every time I try something else I don't like it. I just recently bought Maybelline fit me matte and pore less and I thought I liked it but it broke me out after the third time using it. I so disappointed and I am going to have to go buy me like the 5th bottle of the 3 in 1 foundation and the eye rehab concealer. I hate to say it but it's the best I have tried in the drugstore.

+Rhonda Caldwell The De-Puffer is a great underage concealer, and when I use it I don't use anything else under my eyes, but I use something different on blemishes.

You would look amazing with darker hair,you look so young I can't believe your age,you didnt say anything about the how long this makeup stays on,and thats a problem with makeups that have creams added to them they slide all over your face within a couple of hours and don't wear well,they look good when first applied but thats it,maybe thats why you didn't mention it?You look very pretty in it anyway..
