Another amazing quality video! Instead of one cloth and grit guard. I use 4 wash mitts . 1 mitt = 2 sides to wash 1/4 car then set aside. 4 mitts for one car. No putting dirty mitts back in the bucket, no grit guard needed. When done, throw 4 mitts in the laundry.
Thank you I appreciate it. Congrats on the MP3 You're going to love it. Make sure to download my delivery checklist to make sure everything is perfect before you drive it home!
Awesome vid. Couple things and correct me if I'm wrong. Foam first before rinsing bc the loosening of the dirt can actually scratch the paint. I recommend a foaming shampoo as it's thicker with more of a shaving cream texture. You should use the two bucket method. Wheels first. Since not everyone wants to go ceramic coat route, I recommend Turtle Ice Seal N Shine as it has better protection than spray wax. P.S. It's Pors-cha. (;
Both my two Teslas are professionally ceramic coated and this makes a big difference having a hard shell over the paint. Dont do it any other way. And really its not expensive in the long run. Dont be cheap
Me as a detailer, this is not the best way to do it. (No hard feelings😁) When you power wash your car, always start from the top and work your way to the bottom, that makes all the dirt go from the top and to the bottom. before soaping the car you should always start with the tires and wheels, the reason for that is because that's where the most dirt is (Plus, the most chemicals are found in the soap and detailer that you put on the wheels and tires). Again, same goes for the snow foam (Foam cannon) start from the top of your car and make you way down and make sure you are organized when doing everything (Mike is all over the place) again no hard feelings, I'm giving you my judgement for everybody to learn. When using a tool to apply the soap to the car, never EVER use a towel to do so. use a Microfiber glove but when drying the car you can use a blower like Mike did or a Drying towel. I will put some links below for all the stuff you need and brands I recommend using as a detailer. (Air blowers for drying and power washers) ibigboi.com/ (Cleaning and detailing) www.meguiars.com/#/ (Cleaning and detailing) www.conceptchemicals.com/concept (Cleaning and detailing) www.xpert-60.com/ (Bigboi) Soaps and detailers are not the best but the blowers and power washers are the best on the market. (Meguiars) Noting I wouldn't recommend, there is nothing negative I can say about them, just the best. (Concept) I don't use all of their products. I mainly fish some stuff from them that Meguiars doesn't have. (Xpert-60) I really recommend their interior cleaners, wheel and tire cleaners, and drying towels. Please don't use Adam's. might as well use your shower soap. Mike I hope this helps you and everyone else and I wish you the best of luck :) I want to say this again, I'm only trying to help :)
Hey Mike I know you initially got the Tesla over the Porsche. Would you pick one car over another right now? Or do you have different use cases for them
Overall the Tesla is the best of the two it’s the full package and packed with features. But since I’m a drivers guy, I also like my raw power and loud engines. If I could only have one car it would be the Tesla 100% I’ll never get rid of it!
Yea I’ve loved my Teslas so far. Had a M3 LR and a model s 75d, I’ve sold them since. Placed an order for a white on white M3P a few weeks ago but contemplating if I should get the red instead
Great video, I learned a few new tricks. But dude, please remove the watch and rings when working on your car. Especially the paint work and windows tint. It’s making me nervous watching you.
I see your using a different interior cleaning product. Are you still using the 303 protectant and then use this other cleaner? What do you put on the seats themselves? Thanks.
I still use the 303 protectant especially on the black trim and faux leather parts. I am also still using it on my seats as well. The other cleaning products I use when I detail the car and will sometimes use it afterwards. It’s a different product since it’s made to protect. For my seats I still use just baby wipes!
He is not using the right nozzle on the air dryer. You want it to be flat to air squeegee the water off. A pointed nozzle does not do nearly as good a job. Just my two cents. And I do my two Teslas every other week.
100% it’s the best decision I’ve made. Through all my road trips with rocks and road debris hitting the front end of the car, it’s self healing properties has kept the tesla looking brand new. If I never PPF the Tesla the paint would be destroyed which also decreases its value. It’s also makes it much easier to clean!
Or, you can simply add a clear or colored wrap to your car. That self healing. And then he can run your car through the car wash all you want. Sit in the sun and any scratches will disappear.
Hey Mike, I've seen many people foam their car and then use the washmitt with shampoo and wipe their car. Do you think rinsing it down first is better for grime to come off? Because i saw chemical guys just wiping it after foaming directly
Hey Mike I got a question I ordered a Model 3 Long range and it’s a long wait time for the delivery as the supply issues. I was wondering since you have a model 3 performance for a little while how many miles you got out of your performance tires before you had to go for replacement.
Hey I’ve had the car a little over a year now, I don’t drive much so I haven’t had to change them out yet. From what I know, they should last up to 30k miles
5:20 - Everything after here is irrelevant advice. He is wearing his metals rings while starting to washing his car. He then takes a towel, throughly saturates it with soapy solution, and then, twists the towel forcing the soapy water out of the towel which he then uses apply wash solution to his car. You can't make this shit up people.

If you get the white you can always wrap it but I have to say Teslas red is the best red color paint out there hands down!
@@MikeSeuss yup that’s exactly my thinking. But would a wrap be enough protection from rocks and small chip when compared to ppf?
Thank you great advice

I love your videos bro! I have to ask what type of watch do you have on? Thanks.
Hey it’s a old school Casio, the classic from 1974!
Hi Mike. Can you recommend a product for cleaning/protect the “leather” car seats? Thanks
I typically use baby wipes. But check out the 303 Protectant I mentioned in this video ua-cam.com/video/KG0wOnGvfdU/v-deo.html
I see your using a different interior cleaning product. Are you still using the 303 protectant and then use this other cleaner? What do you put on the seats themselves? Thanks.

Your front trunk looks a bit uneven could be good to schedule service or adjust the rubber piece underneath that keeps them flush.
Hmm I think it’s how it looks in the video, I double checked after receiving your comment thanks for looking out!
How do you recommend cleaning the seats? Especially the white seats?
Honestly I just use baby wipes, been over a year and still looking brand new
Hey I'm curious on the tint used. I understand a high tser is key.

How about winter? How do you wash when you have snow and salt?
Unfortunately I don’t get snow where I live, but I would probably wash my car the same way to remove the salt

Wouldn't it be more prudent to wash the car without a watch and rings? 🤔
Probably if they touched the car
Hey, how are you? Do you think the PPF is absolutely necessary?
