@@allthingsdfw thanks for the info. Hoping they acquire a lot more land in the area. Most universal parks are 400 to 500+ acres but this will be interesting to see what they do. Hopefully get more land close by. The 97 acres is basically going to be the size of Islands of Adventure which is interesting. Happy they are coming to Texas finally. It's long overdue
@@JdHill18 More land is unlikely; that whole area of 2500 undeveloped acres around it is part of a $10 Billion project of apartments, restaurants, offices, and luxury homes. Past that is the new PGA headquarters and their two golf courses.
Six Flags is more for adults so I can see why. We don't go to Six Flags because they only have a few rides my young daughter want to get on. They are starting off this way and i'm sure they're going to expand later. They are also building another park at the one Orlando.
Those are the world cities had either Disneyland or Universal Studio: Paris, Los Angeles, Orlando, Paris, Tokyo, Singapore, Honkong, Shanghai, China and Beijing, China You can see that most of them are world top 20 cities with high "culture" and high "image". Some of them are the soul of everything of their country.
Frisco regulates short term rentals, and HOA’s have that power as well. But there are understandably a lot of concerned residents in the neighborhood next door!
Wow!! Go Frisco!!
Going to be a long process but exciting stuff
Needs to be for adults also. Wish it was a full size Universal Studios park. Texas needs a major theme park
The land is 97 acres and this project is only going to take up 30. Future phases will be interesting.

It’s going to be horrendous for the residents living close by also traffic, airbnb problem

Great… more traffic in Frisco just what we need 🙄
Avoid Frisco.
This is horrible for renters
