You can’t complain about too many people on the planet while complaining about a population decline
House to expensive for new family . Old people have 4 home As an investment. Increase house prices
People can’t even afford a roof over their head let alone a kid.
Only responsible people think that way. Not welfare recipients and illegals.
Exactly
Not exactly true. Depends on priorities and where you live.
Housing is so expensive. I have a great career and so does my wife. If we bought a house we would be house broke. We don’t live in a popular city either. The market is just bad rn it’ll flip one day
but immigrants are living of one OR MORE welfare programs and are having half a dozen kids each!!!!!
My biggest concern with having children is family court kidnapping my children from me.
when the "president" goes out there and says your children are his... people tend to not want children either
The main reason why I decided to not have any. Seen too many examples of that.
Yup family court is a problem.
I don't want children living in today's world.
Agreed, idk how a kid could be born in 2024 and live a successful, happy life
That makes it worse
Today’s world has its challenges, it’s nothing compared to the Bronze Age.
@@danielmartin7838 that’s a good point ur right, atleast as long as we don’t end up in a war with Russia/China
One men don’t want to have children anymore because of child support laws
agreed
Yes, your absolutely right.
I learned young when I seen the hell others were put though and vowed I would never have kids for this country. Today I'm a wealthy individual and have no civil or criminal records.
Because they want to have kids and not support them 😳
Women are can’t understand normal thinking
The cunts always win in court
Life is too expensive. 2 income household is no longer enough income to support a family. If you and your spouse are just barely getting by on a 2-income household, why would you have children? There is no amount of state welfare benefits that is going to make an educated, hardworking family secure in having children. Either you can afford to raise a family, or you cannot. We need to look back in history and recreate an economy where a 1 income in the household was enough to raise a family and if you had a second income it was a bonus for luxuries, travel, kids college and extra retirement savings. Instead of economies where you have 2 income earners barely scraping by. They keep calling it a fertility problem, but most people are sufficiently biologically fertile and able to have children. The problem people do not have enough income to be able to afford to have children.
It can be done.
When the American dream wasn’t just a dream
So true
Let it happen. More housing, less crime, no road congestion, rural areas stay rural, no more over-development.
Will there be consequences? Yes, but no one wants to live in a world with a person for every square foot.
THIS!!!! 💯 for less births!!
Ever think our government is causing so much strain on families to where no one feels safe, and no one has the money anymore as inflation rises and idiobidenomics!

It doesn't.

What happened to over population??
It was a manipulation ploy like "climate change" ... but bread and circuses, opiate for the masses etc. like the new trend with "furbaby's" instead of a human one.
Gone with the wind
It's still over populated. The boomers want more for their pension, that's all
Capitalism works by striking a certain balance.. keeping the people floating just enough to remain a healthy workforce and keep their dreams of breaking out of modern indentured servitude alive, but not paying them enough to realistically ever do so. This balance became disturbed by the unbridled greed of both corporations and governments in modern times. The fate is the same as that fabled golden goose in Aesop's fables.
Is greed a new phenomenon? No greed in ancient times? No greed 1000 years from now?
Capitalism is as old as humanity itself. Ever since that one human traded a sea shell from their home to another human for something from theirs.
Excellent sumarization.
@@srp7038greed has always been a problem. The bigger problem now is a few people won capitalism and own everything. And they pay our government to not do anything about it.
There were only 3 billion people & 175 million Americans at the peak of the baby boom. A nice job , house & kids were easily attainable by age 25 w/ a HS diploma.
Does she know how much Daycare costs in America?? Yea, no thanks. Most of us work full time and can’t even afford housing or groceries let alone a child.
Government does not want to lose power, however a smaller population means smaller issues for people as a whole
I mean take a look around no one wants kids to have to live though this mess. War and its impossible to keep money to any extent
PFAS in the water.
Harmful chemical additives in our food too
Who would want kids in this world!!! I certainly wouldn't want to do it all over again!! Especially now!!!
There are SO many people on the planet. We don't need to keep this craziness up
The whole world could fit into Texas if it was really tried 🙂The rulers of mankind just emphasize greed and selfishness than an outward passion for life in general ... anything really natural must be replaced by something man-made because to man's arrogance "he is superior".
But the ultra rich need more of their low-paid workers in order to enrich themselves even more...
The problem is we’ve build infrastructure and lifestyles that depend on having a certain threshold of people. If you pull the population rug out you’re not going to slow down, you’re going to collapse.
@@Amrith369 and we'll adjust, as we did to increasing population. It's totally illogical to continue at this current population or heaven forbid more people.
@@Amrith369 Gen x was about the smallest generation of people, there are far more Millennials Gen Z. Gen X is WAY smaller than the Baby Boomers. They predicted this 10 years ago as the BB approached retirement. It's a red herring.
But this is what the elites want
People are not having kids because if you have no money , you get no help, so it's financially unviable
If every couple had 2 children the population would be more stable. However i can tell u that the economy, woke/lgbtq+ agenda, government taxing and getting involved in every relationship, people being insufferable to be with (horrible personality/habits), and doesn't help when the government/rich r poisoning and eliminating food supplies.
...2 people need 3+ kids for a population to actually grow.
That certainly hasn't been happening in America for a long time.
All part of their beast plan
Fox-population is declining
Muslims-hold my juice
That’s true brother that is true
😄 Seems the only breeders in America anymore are Amish .
Everyone else doesn't want to live in more poverty.
Africans have higher birthrates
I see what you did there! Muslims don't drink beer 😂
@noneshere not true. I know many large families...not Amish. 9+ kids.
We are blessed with 6 kids and 15 grandkids.....so far. Our family is definitely doing our part! Lol
Keep it up.
So what I got from this is that there will be a worker shortage. But wouldn’t the demand for a lot of things decrease if the population decreases? I guess these corporation owners will just have to learn to live with less like the rest of us do.
Need to cut back on government,
cut back on Marxism then
Good, they keep saying no one can find a place to live. Eventually there will be affodable housing for this generation in 20 years.
If you are "an elite: or a "robot droid" 🙃
Is it overpopulation or population crash make up your mind.
Selfishness is the problem. It takes compassion, empathy and selflessness to be a husband, wife, mom or dad. These traits are becoming less common.
Yeah. The selfishness of the boomer generation is the problem. They want more for their pensions, in the meanwhile they have eaten the creme of the job market party decades
We are in a societal phase of celebrating mental illness, and I don't want any part of it. Why would I want to force my kid to go through that. That's why I never had kids and will never have kids. I made that choice when I was 30 and made it permanent and will never regret it.
Get off your phones and social media and live your life!!
1996 Ben Wittenberg “the Birth Dearth” predicted this problem and he was screamed at.
TO MANY PEOPLE WHO CARES
Maybe part of the problem is the "pig in the python" caused by the boomers moving thru the system?
Be careful what we replace the population with ! UNDERACHIEVERS. Oh heck no.
No benefit to getting married or having children. Why, no upside.
That's a really sad way to look at it. Many people find the upside in being married and having children.
There are many reasons for this, but in my opinion the main reason is the increased materialistic, fun and joy seeking attitude, that is taking over every highly modernized and and prosperous country.
Many people are not ready to give up (or even decrease) their personal freedoms to have fun all the time and to enjoy their free time (their most precious good). A child is (unfortunately) seen more and more as a heavy burden, an obstacle.
Did you read the comment that the world went from 1.5 billion to 8 billion!! At this point there's no benefit to society to bring more children into the world. So if people want kids, fine. But pressuring them by suggesting they're " selfish" to not have kids is totally backwards.
@@michah7214 We are not talking about the past. We are talking about the now and the trend for the near future.
It does not matter much, how it was "500 years" earlier. Our present time society, economy is based on a certain, high level population and a severe decrease of population is a problem for the economy and for the culture of a nation.
@@janostoth4315 And we NEED to learn how to run the economy with fewer people if we don't want the future to be dystopian.
We dont need a growing population to be prosperous
😂 it's because everyone knows war is coming. And it's hard to carry a child and "run away "
Hm🤔 I wonder what could be the cause in that downturn in fertility.
Start w/our food supply & what's in it, move onto the air & what's in it, last but not least, our water supply.
This is manufactured by design.
No one said there's a fertility problem, people are opting out of having children
@@michah7214 Actually there is a fertility problem if you look into it. It's been on the rise for the past 3 decades.
Glad i never had kids. The world is sick.
I can't even find a GF let alone able to afford a house.....
But they aren't denying that economics IS a factor.
No money, no children, and more AI. !
If people are telling you it’s cost then it’s cost. We are not making this up. Cost for child care is insane. Housing is unaffordable after 2020, college is up 1000% with less ROI, so if a parent wants to have kids mathematically almost all can afford 1 and maybe 2 max. It’s unaffordable PERIOD!
The world's population used to be lower & everything was fine.
Only workers and plebs must multiply.
House to expensive for new family . Old people have 4 home As an investment. Increase house prices
A shortage of labor? That’s just what we need. People haven’t had a raise in inflation adjusted terms in decades. Everyone says so. Eliminate the minimum wage, deport, and watch employment skyrocket.
I tried to start a family for 13 years, the young women do not want to start families anymore with young men. Start there
Yeah, look what they are doing to the children!?
Please... what are the solutions? 1. Making older people healthier so they can work longer. 2. Increase the social security age. 3. Limit social security pay outs to 20 years. 4. Once a woman is over 30 and wants to have children give her the option to freeze her eggs for an older pregnancy down the road. 5. Understand that there are areas that due to rising water where we need to move people to areas where labor is needed. 6. Understand that many towns and countries will become empty, so there needs to be a discussion as to where humans should live down the road (places with the best infrastructure and available housing). 6. Invest in men: how do we make them more attractive mates for women (education/physical well being).
Wow her sound is awe full!
Abortions have caused a large portion of this decline. Sad. 😢
Shaniqua and Conswella should have more of them
oh sure, we should condemn more children to being born into households who don't want the child. And don't suggest adoption, that system is not satisfying unwanted children either. Most of them rebel or disconnect from adoption parents, when they find they were given away by their real parents.
@@rayrussell6258I don’t think that’s true. My sister is adopted and she loves her parents, her birth mother even reached out to her and she wants nothing to do with her
@@user-hy8fc1kj2g exceptions can always be found, but that does not change the rule.
Personally I know of three adoptions, none of them connected. One young man pulled a knife on his adopted parents, and the Sheriff had to be called to remove him from the house.

Reading your comment, I can see you made all that up anyway. You say "her" parents, not "our" parents. If she's your "sister", it would be "our" parents.
Programs will never replace the nuclear family. Making products affordable for WHOLE NUCLEAR FAMILIES PROGRAMS sounds like a winner.
Serious ramifications for pfizer
This is the result of prioritizing pleasure and career over families and legacy.
Both men AND women are responsible for this! Let's not kid ourselves and look at the bigger picture.
It’s mostly money. It’s a huge financial commitment and yea we could “afford it” but I would want my kid to grow up in a house that wasn’t just scraping by.
When the human population is expected to stop increasing in 123 years for the firt time ever at 10 billion, you can hardly call that a population "crash" lol.
I think we have more pressing things to worry about than producing more cheap labor
Kids are only good for tax returns. 😂
Well our governments need to make it more affordable to have kids and to live in general. My husband and i would LOVE to have kids but we can barely afford housing…and I have two degrees. We don’t want to raise a kid in poverty. Look at the cost of daycare. Some would say to have one parent stay home, but we need both incomes.
That's why I became a passport bro
Who wants to be on welfare? The economy, lack of jobs (that’s paying well), student loans, etc. are definitely major factors in why people don’t want to have kids. Don’t get me started on how our right’s constantly getting stripped away from abort**n, child support (even if the kid isn’t yours but you thought it was and signed the birth certificate). All the top people care about are workers, they don’t care about the actual babies or kids. If they cared, they would regulate childcare, better goods that are not filled with preservatives, and regulate housing market.
My wife and I have 4 kids and we're thinking about having a 5th.
I see faces, named and blamed. 🤨🧐📹
The housing situation is a big part of it.
that's one of the WEF goal.
The world is overpopulated already
In the 1900's the worlds population went from 1.5 billion people to 7.3 billion. And recently the worlds population was disclosed at 8 billion people. There is only so much Food and Water for everyone. So a population decline is not a bad thing. Business's will adapt to a decline or find themselves out of business for the new ones that will find success in that situation.
If quality of life was better and one could afford to live with how this economy is anymore maybe the population would rise.
Even if all the reponsible people had 2 kiddos we would still have children being born, we dont need continued growth. We need less people so this is a good thing!
Heard a lot of married couples complain it’s too expensive to have kids I guess you get what you deserve when you don’t support families us govt
The government isn’t responsible for your family.
Let's address greed. Lower your expectations. You can predict all this but not what taking all these people in will do to the country. Lower your expectations you shouldnt be making 1000% all the time.
You can’t conclude that economics is not the reason American women aren’t having children based on what other countries are doing. That makes no logical sense.
Yes cost is still 1st. Things are just expensive 1200 for an ok daycare in TN. Me and wife' parents died and there are no available people to help. But, morgage is 2300, and student losns are 300k. I just started making 100k, and things are just expensive. Youll get 1 for me, not 2 or 3.
A higher or lower demography has no significance unless the advantages are greater than the disadvantages in the total projected US economy, security, sciences, and defense.
The earths soil is depleted, there is a housing shortage, people can’t afford kids. I don’t think this is the worst thing to happen. Just make sure you save enough for retirement because SS is not gonna be a thing
Me and the wife will have them when we get enough money, we own a house, and I’m only one working we enjoy to enjoy life, and I like putting 12 percent or 500 in my retirement each month so I can retire early. Especially at 24. Bills are killer and we gotta cut costs somewhere not having kids is one way.
Nobody wants to make government and corporates slaves after we die let the rich people have kids 😂😂😂
I think it is all of the preservatives in the food.
But there are too many people. Uh huh.
My great grandmother had 13 children. I had exactly one 😂
Get back to us when wages meet the cost of living and the family courts work correctly for men.
Its mostly a cost problem.
The median family home is $14000000 in Sydney Australia, I’m sorry but as a 27yr old male, I need to make sure that I have enough money for retirement
Maybe people just don't like kids that much or are still acting like kids themselves. I had 3 kids when I was poor. It's not money.
The planet Reached peak population in the mid 1980s and since then our population has doubled , we were warned by experts in the 1970s what would happen if we didn't slow down , and most of it has come true , disease such as Diabetes and Cancer in large numbers , sickness that spreads like wild fire , loss of natural healthy foods . I remember when I was a kid in northern Minnesota My mother would send my brother and I into the woods for Strawberries or blueberries or what ever kind of fruit we wanted for a treat after dinner fruits and vegetables were all over and easy to find , now I can walk in those same areas and won't find food of any kind . WE DID THAT with farming chemicals . With everything mass produced today food is either Genetically Modified or is full of contaminates . Just 250 years ago , where the Twin Cities are The Mississippi River runs through , The water was so clean and clear that The natives that lived there would drink from the river , today it looks like a chemical river . There are 2 reasons why Governments around the world want to keep the population high ( war and economics ) .
This is good, there’s is will save the earth and stop global warming
The drawbacks out way the benefits ! Plain and simple ! More people means more taxes witch means bigger government witch means more laws witch means less freedoms . 🤔🤔
Attacking all the components and roles that are the fabric of the traditional "family" has backfired in unexpected ways I guess. But then again, the "experts" have been saying for decades that there are too many of us. Do you suppose the unintended consequences are actually what was intended?
Marriage itself has become a High Risk Item for Men in the USA that its being avoided and, having children in or outside of marriage only Increases the Risk.
Largely Women and the Legal System are to blame for the High Risk Aspect.
Both marriage and having children is high risk for women also. So they're saying no. Because they end up with all the work of child raising and often the majority of cost.
@michah7214 meanwhile courts still favor woman in almost every scenario 🤡
