Stop sending money to other countries and give it to the social security
It's easier to get the '10%' ( a kickback ) off the top of money that are sent overseas...To do that here in the USA is harder because there's too many eyes and ears all around...Once the money is overseas it's fair game for whoever can get a hand on it..

Young people saying it's okay to work longer, - my life of ardent fitness and good eating and robust health doing things at 70 I was doing at 30, within 6 months my body fell apart and went to hell. Now it's hard walking around the house. There's a limit to how much abuse, how much use the human body can take. People talk about retiring and having leisure time. Most of my time is spent scheduling doctor's appointments and having tests and surgeries and recovering from surgeries with PT. Naive talk from children.
The government needs to refund Social Security all the money they have stolen from it for their little pet projects. This is supposed to be a "TRUST FUND," not a source for grubby little hands to steal money from.
They never should have allowed SS to be put into the General Fund where the Gov. can overcalculate how many people they estimate will die before they can collect and then overspend that money to begin with.

I"ll never forget the day I heard Nancy Pelosi rip into a CNN anchor who asked whether it was causing more harm than good for Democrats to basically have a standoff with Republicans on the passing of a budget proposal, because it was basically the 11th hour and government assistance was not going to dispurse on time to people who received SS, SNAP, etc. She cut him off and said "I KNOW WHAT MY PEOPLE NEED! I FEED THEM!" I never really liked her anyway, but that statement was a defining moment for me. She views herself as a god among men.

The Social Security program is expected to run short of cash to pay promised benefits in about ten years, while a key trust fund for Medicare will run out of funds by 2031. Benefits paid out by the program have exceeded money coming in since 2021, and the trust fund is now expected to be depleted by 2033. That's a year earlier than forecast last year, unless changes are made before then to shore up the program, 66 million Social Security recipients would see their benefits cut by 23-25%.
