dude, just wanted to say that your channel not only useful but also so beautiful visually, my eyes are satisfied with your previews, backgrounds, pictures and videos which you choosing for your music, even those white frames, i don't know whether you use some filters or color correctings, but i think your channel one of the most beautiful from those i subscribed to.
I appreciate your informative and smooth videos, as your musical creation! It’s been a while... I hope you’re well. Sending warm vibes in this quirky era.
This is so sick. The Ableton community is what makes the software even greater 🔥
That's my preferred method when I'm in a hurry, I had no idea that it is not as popular as the others. But great tutorial! Love your way of explaining things!
Hey, you haven't uploaded in a while, hope everything's ok?
ten years in and someone teaches me something every day.. thanks for being that someone today! so simple but overlooked .
Hey, just want to say I hope you're doing well! And thank you for all your insightful and beautiful videos!
I never knew you could do this! This really changes things for me since I'm not very good at playing keys
you're my new favorite instructor, and this feature is a game changer. thank you!!
Wow, I've been using Ableton for years and never knew about that more obscure step recording method with the right key you mentioned. Game changer!
We love you !!! Sincerely hope you are free and alive and happy
This is so awesome. I had no idea this was possible. I think this is exactly what I’ve been looking for to program drums a lot more seamlessly
Hope everything is good man, thanks for the tutorial! Went through your whole ableton playlist recently, very helpful.
I also wanted to say thank you for this tip - I had no idea you could enter notes in this step sequencing way! Keep up the brilliant videos 👍
I love how you drop tempo on Dover,
You're great brother, never stop writing.
Hope you’re ok...
Love your channel and all the great ideas and teaching you share.
this seems so simple and in hindsight a little obvious but is immensely cool and helpful, thanks!
I am very glad to find your channel. You make the explanation for everybody understandable.
Bit late, but never too late for a compliment. thanks for this very useful video !
This is an absolute super tip, makes step input much easier, thanks a lot!

Thank you, this was an excellent video! Much appreciated!
You are amazing! Obviously you have studied music- that chord progression sounded like something I’ve been learning in my beginning partimento studies. Keep it up!
Dude I've been trying to figure out how to do this for ages! Thank you!!!
Very good, thank you for transmitting your knowledge!!!
This is a great hack. Definitely adds some cool playability to Ableton. Thanks for the vid!

Just checking in to say hello and hope you are doing well. We'd love to see another video from you but mostly hope you are well.
so cool!
thank you for that info! btw; it also works with the cursor keys on the computer keyboard, in case you don't have a midi keyboard with that certain mapping
Just found your channel recently and have loved it. I really do hope you're alright. Hope to see another video pop up from you sometime soon.
Was wondering if there was a way to do this just the other day, very useful - thanks!
Thanks for the helpful tip!
Amazing! Thanks
Really useful stuff!
Really cool idea
I've been using Ableton Live since version 6 and never realized that there was a step input mode! 🤦♂️
Btw, you don't have to drag the velocity down and the up to max them out, just drag up until all are maxed.
Great channel, thanks! 👍
So well explained in simp0le terms. Thank you!
you just changed my life
We miss you man
Thank you!🥳
Since he stopped making music (I presume) can someone recommend a channel that makes music like him
I was searching for the same. The way he used to explain what instrument he is adding and what he is doing and why could not find any one else that does these they show you few midi and arrangement and it's done
Great tip!!
Hope ur doing well, come back soon!
Hope you doing good man💜

Thanks!
Really missing your videos!
One addition of a key command if you hold open apple and either 1 or 2 you can increase or decrease your grid. Open apple 3 for triplets.
Thanks! I forgot Ableton could do step sequencing. Really beautiful chord progressions too. What are you using for the Rhodes sound?
wow thats epic! i didnt know you can enter the note by pressing the left button. thanks!
amazing
Great!
Cheers
Now, THAT was useful.
This is very helpful, thanks!
I kind of wish there were another icon next to the headphone icon, which would audibly play the notes at the playhead as you scrub through, without hitting the play button.
"What did that last chord sound like?" (scrubs back, and the chord plays) "Oh, right."
Very helpful if someone's composition workflow is more ear-oriented and less... classical, if that makes sense. I took a year of music theory in high school, which was incredibly helpful, but I'm still mostly a listen-and-adjust person.
Also, another button next to the button that's next to the headphone button, which plays all notes that are still going, as you adjust one note. For example, say you've got a C-E-G chord, and you want to play around with the G. You click that note, and as you drag it, of course the G note changes to whatever you're dragging it to, but also, the C and E play at each notch, so you can hear that note in context. If the C and E started earlier than the G, like an organically-played triad often goes, the C and the E would still play with each movement of the G, because the "end" messages for those notes is after the start of the G.
I hope I'm making sense here.
If you have the grid set to 16th notes and do multiple right arrows you can enter different length notes.
And a forth way of entering notes is the midi Capture feature. Which is really cool.
Ah yes, that's a good tip!
Hi Nebojsa ! I'm sharing the same concern about your health as all other friends. Really hope all is right for you.
Bro hope you're alright if you're reading this please come back dude miss your videos 😓😓
PLEASE COME BACK!
Hey this is an awesome tip! I've been wasting my life!
we miss you
so, I hope that you are doing fine, Sir! we miss your tutorials.
Please Come Back Man! Hope you are doing good
Nice helpful video. :-)
Hope you are well. Any hope of getting some Ableton Live 11 content?
Game changer
Wheeere are you!❤️
Man… you ok?
Wow thanks! So simple, I wonder how I missed that features. Hey, I just discovered you were living in Montreal? I'm near Place des Arts, at La Cité on Jeanne-Mance. I don't know if you still need "mixing tips" but I think I might help you on that. Let me know! :)
I thougth UA-cam was hiding your content from me, but now I see you went all quiet. Hope your are doing fine and come back soon!
Hey man come back
Miss your videos. Hope everything is ok and you'll come back.
