Before he played in Journey, Neil Schon (guitarist) played with Carlos Santana. Listen to "Taboo" from Santana 3 to hear 2 of the best guitarists of the '70's.
A lot of super fun memories with their music. Not sure of all the music you've seen/heard, I think you will really enjoy "Santana" - "Black Magic Woman". That has 2 original "Journey" members in it. A very young Neal Schon and then Lead Singer Greg Rollie. It's a super good tune. After that maybe "Lights" - "Journey" or "Same Way" which has both Greg Rollie and Steve Perry on Vocals. Super good reaction! PS: That is early Journey good stuff
Yes, the "Escape" concert was brilliant, please more of it: "Lovin Touchin Squeezin" "Anyway You Want It" "Open Arms" and more The "Raised on Radio Tour" with Randy Jackson was also great, "Girl can't help it" "I'l be allright without you"..... "When you love a Women" Studio 1996 Steve is the best singer and Journey were great with him. So perfect and harmoniously coordinated.
Steve is a top tier singer. No question he and Freddie Mercury of Queen were the best singers from mid 70s to 80s. My regret is that i didnt attend a concert of theirs back then, could of been it would involve much traveling.
Great reaction man! I was a child in the 80s and early 90s and it was my favorite era of music. Going to subscribe to you. Here are some other songs to consider by Journey: 1. Open Arms from 1981 tour...amazing 2. Faithfully video 3. Separate Ways-My fav song...video is a bit cheesy Also some other songs to check out. 1. Carry on Wayward Son and Dust in the wind by Kansas 2. The Chain by Fleetwood Mac 3. I want to know what love is by Foreigner 4. Zombie by Cranberries 5. Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler 6. Alone by Heart 7. The Living Years by Mike and Mechanics 8. 18 and life by Skid Row
Journey Wheel in the Sky live in Osaka ❤❤❤❤❤
They closed this concert with Anyway You Want It where Steve has the crowd singing the chorus. Super high energy for the end of a concert.
Steve also plays bass and in his early career was a drummer singer! He is the greatest singer ever! ❤️❤️❤️
Another Great Choice😊
