I'm brazillian and I feel something great coming, a great decandense of my country. People based their votes in promisses and the speechs, the major part of population dont have study about politics and dont know what really happening in the backstage, thay will just choose who will give more crumbs. 1- our supreme court frees a corrupt sentenced in 3 other courts as guilty. Not on merit, but for "technical errors" in the process. This clearly had a purpose.
2- media worked hard and daily in the dehumanization of Bolsonaro " nazi ", " fascist ", " homophobic " and even " cannibal ". Meanwhile, little by little they change Lula´s title from "freeman" to "innocent" which is not true. The process has restarted, but it still exists.The crimes still exist. Therefore, they tried to equalize them morally.
3- supreme court interferes in the campaign and bans pro-bolsonaro social media channels, but does nothing with pro-lula channels. When a discrepancy in the distribution of material on the radio is verified and proven, it does nothing.
4- Election fraud: votes are counted through machines of two different generations (types), and these machines have different statistical behavior. Statistically, votes could not behave differently based on electronic voting machines, because they are not a variable for voting. The insertion of different lines in the source code of the model that favors Lula was detected (more than 5%)
5- After the election, any media channel that questions this is being automatically banned by the court. What a beautiful democracy, isn't it?
6- Contrary to what the reporter says, the people do not demand a "coup", but an article that exists in our constitution, therefore LEGAL, which is used to investigate problems when one of the branches (executive, legislative or judiciary) abuses its power over the other. The Armed Forces enter as mediators in the process until everything is resolved.

inhuman speeches and a lot of things that in other countries would be absurd was banalized when bolsonaro came. that man doesn’t even try to hide that he doesn’t care about no one but himself, yet his fanatical followers always tries to find excuses for his behavior. that’s one of the main problems with brazilian politics, now every social influencer that wants to rob public money just need to say some speeches about family and god that people elect them. even if the candidate is a blatant liar and doesn’t even try to hide his bad intentions

I dunno why so many Brazilians decided to become political fanatics now, but it's just ridiculous. Probably because we consciously and subconsciously mirror the US so much, but it makes absolutely no sense, particularly when we have the current president running for re-election and an ex-president who already ran two entire terms trying to come back into politics.
The truth that seemingly no Brazilian wants to admit these days is that neither will be good for the country, both will mostly ally with old politics to continue stealing public money, and there will be no major changes in Brazilian corruptocracy. Bolsonaro won't lead a military coup because it doesn't benefit him in any way, Lula also won't turn Brazil into a communist dictatorship because that also doesn't benefit himself personally. The way both can benefit the most is by just keeping Brazilian politics as it is - a country that collects an insane record amount of taxes from it's poor population and gobbles it all up inside the over bloated state machines that is constantly giving itself raises while killing social programs, education, health and whatnot.
Between Bolsonaro's tens of real estate paid in cash, "rachadinhas", the revolving door of people he'd put his face to the fire that ends up being all corrupt, secret budget scandal, and all these correlated scandals, and Lula's own Mensalao, Petrolao, Guaruja Triplex, Atibaia farm house and numerous others along with so many corrupt people close to them, the real difference between the two is that one is aggressively far-right, and the other centrist left - public face only, because in practice they both practice the same old corrupt Brazilian politics that tries to do the least possible while stealing the most money they can. This whole cult of personality and propaganda crap they put up is a farce and for show, when they get back into their jobs its just more of the same old crap, because corruption in Brazil politics is institutionalized, stealing money from public coffers is the objective, and it won't change regardless of who is the president.
So it ends up that the real worst thing that is coming from this election is that it's proven how shortsighted and ignorant Brazilian electors continue being. You'd think that after decades of being stolen blind by politicians no Brazilian would fall into political fanaticism and extremism these days, but nope, here we are at it again, with both parties using some of the most sordid, surreal and even ridiculous FUD tactics to push one side against the other. Cannibalism, candidate voted by criminals, red scare, alliance with the devil... people getting convinced by that sort of crap, what are we, 17th century ignorant plebs? The selective memory reigns strong too... but of course, if people can't even keep track of things that happened during the past 4 years, asking people to remember what happened between 2003 and 2010 when Lula was president, in a balanced and non-biased way, is asking for a miracle. It was neither as bad as Bolsonaro propaganda say, but also not by far as good as what Lula's propaganda is saying too. And it's just absurd what people who went through both those periods but now have become radicalized will say to try to convince you to vote one way or another.
It's like dude, we went through all these years together, it's been the same sh*t as ever. Neither Bolsonaro nor Lula fixed anything of significance, both took money away from important basic services, both enriched themselves plenty while in power, both had multiple corruption scandals in their terms, but also Brazil didn't become Hell, a communist dictatorship, a military dictatorship, a criminal or Satanist paradise, or anything like that, because it's not in the best interest of neither, plus we have institutions to stop those from happening. Clear your head up from all the paranoia and FUD, vote in whoever you think is least worse, and expect for corruption to continue since you couldn't vote for something new.
All this bs is tiring. I just want for next Sunday to pass and people to get back to focusing on stuff that really matters.

I watched this interview and I couldn't believe it. In 2017, this shepherd who appears in the interview made a manifesto that he called Reforma Brasil. In that manifesto he criticized pastors and leaders who involve the church in politics. And five years later he acts totally incoherently using the church to talk about politics. Unfortunate!

Everybody hears rumor's about his opposition, but those rumor's aren't being announced on news networks. I live in Canada and even I hear the rumors about Lula. I am not so passionate about another countries politics, but I do have anger toward lies. One rumor I have heard is that he is dubbed a "Pawn of the World Economic Forum"; have not heard that one in the news. I see a narrative is all. - Some of the worst health figures in the world during the pandemic (in absolute figures, 700,000 deaths, and also for cases and deaths of COVID per capita) and an impoverishment of the working classes, with the return of undernourishment in some regions.
- A sharp rise in deforestation and fires in the Amazon as a result (among other things) of a collusion of power with the food lobby, which prefers to raze forests to make pastures.
- A disadvantaged education sector, largely abandoned to the influence of evangelical lobbies which are supporters of Bolsonaro.
- A generalization of vulgary, insults, excesses and accusations of all kinds.
- A continuous stream of false rumours shared through social media.
Foreigners, deforestation and fires in the Amazon have always occurred. During Lula's first government, the amount of deforested areas was very large

I've spoken to a friend from Brazil about this, and he says that his family will emigrate if Lula is elected. He said Bolsonaro is bad, but Lula is worst for people like his family.
A lot of people moved out of Brazil when Bolsonaro was elected, me included. All he talks about is religion, guns and military. No care for health, safety, education.

Unstable country? Brazil was elected the best country to invest in 2022 due to stability. Brazil always had crazy politics.
