How to Make Artisan Bread - Make It at Lunch & Eat It at Dinner! No Kneading. Easy Peasy!

  • Learn how to make Artisan Bread. It's so easy! No kneading same day bread.
    3 Cups of bread flour
    1 tsp Kosher salt
    1 tsp sugar
    1 tsp Active Dry Yeast
    NOTE: I FORGOT TO SAY... LET THE BREAD COOL OFF BEFORE CUTTING INTO IT... ABOUT 30 TO 60 MINUTES!
    If you are not using folds, just let is rest for 3 hours at about 75 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
    After the 3 hours, do a final shaping. Place Parchment paper in a bowl and place the dough in the bowl. In the meantime...
    Preheat oven with the empty Dutch Oven inside for 30 minutes at 450 degree F.
    After 30 minutes, use 500 degree proof oven mitts to remove Dutch Oven, and put the dough in the Dutch Oven. Place an ice cube in with it if you like. If it's possible, place it on the outside of the parchment paper.
    With gloves, put the Dutch Oven in the oven and bake for 35 minutes at 450 degrees F.
    After 35 minutes, take the lid off and bake another 15 to 20 minutes at 425 degrees F.
    After the 15 or 20 minutes, take the Dutch Oven out of the oven and remove the bread. Let it rest an hour before cutting.
    If you choose to do the series of stretch and folds, do 3 of them, 20 minutes apart, in the first hour. In the second hour, just do 1 set midway at 30 minutes. No stretch and folds in the last hour.
    NOTE... BE SURE NOT TO FLATTEN THE BREAD TOO MUCH WHEN YOU SHAPE IT! KEEP THE AIR POCKETS!

    I forgot... Be sure to let the bread cool off at least 30 minutes... an hour is better!
