It's actually just CGI they add in post to make it look real. Animators do a great job.

Kenan is great! He inhabits his roles so joyfully and believably, and has a wide range of subtle excellence. The moment you see him in a sketch, you know it's going to be a good one.
Kenan just kills it every time, his comedic timing and his silly grins always crack me up.
When he did that fast-forward movement, it was a priceless T.V. moment.
Even the producer/stage manager gave him props at the end.
