Yes. Just put the impossible Polaroids face down and sideways (the top of the foto facing left or right), and start with maybe a stack of six. Also, set the SWITCH on the left side of the printer into the UP position. I found this works great. For max quality set the preferences to Preferences/Scan/Transfer Data After Compression OFF, and scan in TIFF 1200dpi for maximum quality.
I did not experience any Newton Rings, and since there is no glass surface between the print surface and the line scanning head, the conditions aren't right for Newton Rings forming.
This also works for the FF-680
Thank you for the tip
This was SO helpful - thank you!
THANK YOU - solution worked perfectly - thanks for making the video!
You're welcome!
you're the greatest man!
Unfortunately mine still jam. Wish this worked.
Still jamming with mine.
I buyed a second hand 640 but its distorcing my 4/6 photos. I dont know why but i gets me even more distortion when I scan with 600 dpi.
Try replacing the rubber rollers. They are available from Epson, but wear out over time.
Didn't work, still jams.
Excellent video. Do you have any 2018 fast-photo scanner recommendations?
This might be 3 years too late but here’s one from this year 2022 ua-cam.com/video/frwjE7soZ44/v-deo.html
is this scanner printer any good??? please reply thanks . Its not available in the UK
Hi :) Does this scanner work with Impossible film?
Could I scan Fp100c? Thanks
does this work with fujifilm instax film?
It should, but I didn't check when i made this video. I believe the FASTFOTO II handles Instax.
Do you get newton rings with the FastFoto scanner?
I did not experience any Newton Rings, and since there is no glass surface between the print surface and the line scanning head, the conditions aren't right for Newton Rings forming.
@@mcnamarareport Oh, wonderful! (This problem has been bothering me a lot!) Thanks!! :)
@@mcnamarareport And do you have any experience with the new FF-680W? (If yes, do they work similarly?)
does this work with the instax mini film?
I didn't test the original FastFoto with Fuji instax film, but I believe the FastFoto II scanner is fully capable of scanning that instant film.
@@mcnamarareport is it the FastFoto 640W or 680W
All you are is a secret Epson marketer. Don’t try to fool us into thinking you’re a ‘printer expert’
Well, it's a scanner and not a printer so...... Don't try to fool us into thinking you're a "scanner expert"
