Now we know how Kelsey Henson looks like after hiking the mountain
perfect for concealed carry
KatatonicGoat You really thinks those rounds will kill someone😂
@@stylisticsguy3746 they work pretty well on the hajis, so i think they will do well on some fat mericans.
FLUXZiON it was a joke my guy...but yes on some mericans it will be perfect, next is the Arabs
Think it will fit in my pocket
LOL
I am Ultra Heavy Weapons Guy, and _this_ is my weapon. She weights 280 kilograms and fires $137 30mm cartridges at 39,000 rounds per minute. It costs $106,626
to fire this weapon, for _twelve seconds._
As a tf2 fan I demand you redo the math for the vulcan
@@Mr_chopp_choppIt's pretty cheap, like $5-10 dollars per round, so about 6-12k for 12 seconds
Hell yeah
As another tf2 I dont care its funny as is

Legends say if you hear an A-10, you weren’t the target
Legends say that when you hear an A-10 they probably missed
No shit thats how bullets work
Or you were but its accuracy is shit

Nope.

Can I borrow this? I think I can finally win that game at the fair where I have to shoot the star out.
LOL
Nah, there’s always a tiny bit left
The U.S. military really is the king of Gatling guns. The 7.62 minigun, the 20 mm Vulcan, and the 30 mm Avenger is quite the lineup.
Pill Cosby yes they are but don't forget those Soviet era 23mm miniguns, now those are scary asf even to look at
lets not forget the .50 cal one with 3 barrels
12.7mm GAU-19 (three-barrel)
Annex Canada let's not 4 get about the 25mm equalizer
America has the worst gatling weapon American designers are not able to construct weapons usa vulcan 6000 rpm ,russian gsh 6-23 10,000 rpm(it is the fastest weapon on earth), GShG-7.62, gsh 6-30,ak 630, YakB these weapons are more reliable than American because they are gas operated, self-powered weapon, America has the worst gatling guns bro
GAU-8: BRRRRRRRRRT
Google Translate: Welcome to Area 51.
Forgot the “krkrkrakakakkrkrkrkrkr” impact sound hits first before the sound comes in “Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt!!!!!!!” lol 😂
Is that a taco supreme talking back at you?
When our enemies see an A-10 head on in strafe attitude, they're swiss cheesed before the GAU-8 is even heard.
Another great conceal carry option
Really taught that cloth and cardboard a lesson

@@AverageF14TomcatFan Yup!
Some of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard, from such a stunning sight, to match an equally bad ass Weapon system.
What makes the gau 8 so much scarier is that it's actually incredibly accurate
At this range yeah, but at the range they normally fire at the rounds have a massive impact zone, watch any footage of this thing in combat and the rounds are all over the place. These guns aren't precision weapons (that's why TV and Laser guided weapons exist), these are made to put as many rounds downrange as fast as possible.
@@nightshadedawn have you ever tried aiming while going so fast? Yep it is pretty hard
@@ksir119 which is why we don't do gun runs in jets unless necessary. The A-10 was, stupidly, built around a gun and was obsolete by the time it started production but big gun go BRRRRRT.
The A10 wasn’t obsolete. Its literal purpose is ground attack, that’s why it exists. It is essentially a flying weapons platform. It’s mean to kill tanks and other military vehicles
@@EricHabing-uu7hbthe idea for it was obsolete, which is why most kills are made using the missiles
Bro has got the washing machine aesthetic
Being downrange of this fun there is probably nothing left of you to even have a bad day
That’s the sound of freedom
STHU !!!!
"Works well in a crowded area"
Perfect crowd control tool
I think the buzz after it’s shot is the best sound
It is terrifyingly accurate, both of them. You'll most likely bleed out if you get hit even once. If you ever get suppressed by an A-10, just mercy suicide to avoid being torn to shreds by a 30mm bullet flying at you at almost 3 times the speed of sound.
The m61a1 is mounted on a apc
Bleed out? If your hit as a human being by a 30mm round from an A-10 mounted Gau-8 your entire body would vaporize into dust….heard from a friend
If a single bullet with that velocity hit anywhere on your body you will turn to a puddle of ground meat and blood
@@reliablereview4723 Both of you are correct, the AP rounds would leave a big ass hole, and the HE ones would vaporize you
I think you’d kind of just explode if you got hit by them
The Gatling Gun
A weapon that was designed WAY ahead of its time
This gun good for home defense
That grouping though!
The sound it makes is terrifying
I love that sound.
The sound of that and the Warthog in general would be a feces vacating moment.
You need to make one of these so you can carry it strapped on your shoulder
Love every Gatling Gun the US has ever put out starting with our civil war
Well, unfortunately the Gatling gun wasn't adapted by the US army until 1866 - which FYI was *after* the war ended. The Gatling gun saw extremely limited use in Civil War. You know why? They were very expensive and only rich colonels who came from rich families could afford to purchase them. Even those saw little use in this new weapon - and like I said before the Union army decided *not* to purchase any even after they saw demonstrations of them. Another problem was that they used metal cartridges, and back in those days those were rare and expensive. Most weapons used *paper* cartridges and muzzle-loader muskets were used in the war too.
When you got 20-30 rifles for the price of one Gatling gun it goes without saying few considered them a smart investment. You got cast light artillery pieces for that same money too and at the time *artillery was king* .
Last of all. While the original Gatling gun was named after its inventor the later multibarreled machine guns only were referred to as "Gatling types" as a colloquial name.
The Germans had an impressive looking "gatling gun" designed during WWI - the Fokker-Leimberger. Unfortunately it was a bit too advanced and fast firing for its time and the material standards and metallurgy weren't up to the task. Google it.
@@jamesshunt5123 Hmm, I see. Is this gonna be on the test?
I live near a test range for these, and you can hear them from MILES away!
legend says if you heard the brrrrt you werent the target
Ideal for home defence.
Now that sounds like freedom to
me!
GAU-8 reigns supreme. The almighty gun.
Like to see the government try to seize my GAU-8 🧐
Finally! Something that I can use for my home defense.
Wow! Very good! I like it!
The A-10 (or actually the YA-10A) did use a Vulcan when it was being tested back in the 70s. The A-10 was designed around the 30mm caliber, and not really the GAU-8. When the A-10 was flying, the GAU-8 wasn't even a thing, so they used a Vulcan as a placeholder. It did work well, but later on they replaced it with the GAU-8.
No, when the YA-9 (Northrop) and the YA-10 (Fairchild Republic) were testing as part of the A-X competition, the GAU-8 design was being developed in parallel by two competing companies (General Electric and Philco-Ford) *specifically for* that program (so yes, the A-10 *was* designed around the GAU-8; so was the YA-9). By the time the YA-10 had been selected (Jan 1973) and the A-10 was in production, General Electric had won the contract for the 30 mm GAU-8 Avenger (June 1973). Only the YA-10 prototypes ever used the M61 Vulcan, during the initial A-X design competition. The A-10 has always had the GAU-8 on board during its operational life.
nice grouping
Someone needs to make a tank around this.
Some might say that they already did but I'm talking about a ground tank.
Absolutely glorious
Hypnotized every time I watch this
0:33 sounds like part of a dubstep beat
can you please make a 10 hour version i keep pressing reset

Wow. Just wow.
Is there a shoulder holster for those?
Damned that's Bad Ass!

Nice addition to my truck
That, my friends, is the sound of freedom
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT
Firing rate: *Stop, stop he's already dead!*
Got ya get me one of these
Never thought the GAU 8 at 3800rpm could seem slow.
Oh baby!
How do we get rid of the Hughes Amendment?
Imagine the people who made the m61 just listening to the sound and asking "did we make a gun or a lawn mower"
The sound you make after some food from Taco Bell.
woah, so much freedom
BRRRRRT
With a little bit of work, I should be able to fit one on my Tundra. Lol.
You will go from 60mph to reverse in about 1.2 seconds 😀
The gau 8 avenger is like that angry cousin of vulcan
Badass
I need this
Have an AK-47 with the barrel for the mini gun friend of mine who is a contractor and used to make titanium barrels for the military he had one left over
The m61a1 only had steel barrels woth 2 diff clamps one air defence and on for ground it also fired hei drag and so with tracers
If this hits you, it might hurt.
perfect for light home defense
They look kind of mini.. I'll take 2!
For those who can't tell that was like a bazillion RPM
What is the practical use for this?
“Time to let Ol’ Painless out of the bag.”
Lol the gau 8 shook the whole building
Doomslayer: *Heavy Breathing*
Imagine strafing a Gathering of the Juggalos with this.
Incarnon mode for the Laetum
Remind me now, what was this machine built for again?
M61 is for light-armored infantry vehicles and GAU-8 is too destroy tanks with thicc armor
bro this gun is probably strong enough to kill the spider that traps me in my room
This is my workout music
When a spooky gun ship lets loose at night the rounds that ricochet look like angry bees from hell.
That would be so loud indoors that would probably blow your eardrums and make them bleed

Best gun ever made!
I am heavy weapons guy and this is my weapon.
What do these things shoot?
I have a spent 30mm casing a buddy got me when I worked for the Navy. Makes every other round I have look minuscule.
The sound aint sounding
hello can i use this video? i am making one about Franco-Prussian war i need an example
Where can I get this.
Will it fit my F150?
Sweeeet. 😎
Oh good. I can’t hear the individual shots.
Hollywood just loves making it sound like you can hear each shot
If you need revenge acted upon frog tape and cardboard, THIS is your weapon.
