Pharaoh had the sweetest reaction when the staff put the rescue owl into his cage (for the first time, apparently). He's never going back to the wild now, but he's got hundreds of babies out there carrying his imprint. I think he's the real hero here.
It's a beautiful thing he does. He better not be stuck in that little box 24/7. The rehab needs to do BETTER for him , especially after all that Pharaoh has done for them and the baby owls. Pharaoh needs a proper forever enclosure!!
He needs a permanent friend, another disabled owl.
Does pharaoh have a instgram?
@@lisabelle7553 Pharaoh does have a much larger cage, it seems from the video, with many perches! They don't show the full cage but it looks like we just see the wall and stuff with the bigger baby. The little kennel is probably just for introduction purposes, kinda like how you put rats into carriers to get them to bond. The rehab would definitely not be allowed to keep Pharaoh if they were not giving him adequate space, especially since they are protected under law!
@lisabelle7553 If you watched the video, they say he flies to the highest perch. Obviously there's no way to fly in that kennel. That's clearly just a holding pen.
That owl dad needs a father of the year award.
❤💪🦉❤

🤩😘🥰😇😇😇🥰😘😍
He probably wouldn't understand why...I think I've seen that those who really deserve awards never quite understand why they're getting them! 🤔 But still, the award goes to PHARAOH! ❤😊❤
@voyaristika5673 I'm sure he wouldn't, but the gesture would be awesome.
A feather of the year, you might say.
Pharoah is so patient 🦉🦉🦉🦉
😁😸🦉
Wow, you are doing an amazing job helping these animals become autonomous and be able to live their life in the wild!
That's what makes this so satisfying. That they not only save lives BUT doing everything to make sure they can be released.
Love it ❤
Wildlife rehabers + Pharaoh = AWESOME!!! 😊🦉💕
I especially love to hear these rescue stories that include doing everything possible that makes them able to be released back into the wild ... where they belong.
Be kind to yourself, your pets and each other.❤
I agree but imo, soft releases are my favorite. They didn't really explain their release process but I might look them up to see. I understand that from a practical standpoint it can't always be done in that manner. But I feel like when animals get the choice or chance to slowly acclimate to the outside it increases their overall chances. Also while it is very important that keystone creatures out there doing what they do for their ecosystem. There's some that go through so much trauma I could understand them preferring security to freedom. So when it can be left up to them to decide when they are ready (and when they want to come back and visit!! ) is my overall favorite. ❤
Hand-feeding the little owlet with an owl puppet - very sweet.
Such great work with these owls! Wearing camouflage to avoid imprinting is brilliant. At the same time, I would miss the feeling you get when an animal ACCEPTS you as family. But I certainly recognize it is in the owls' best interest to live independent from humans to return to the wild. That is the greater good!
Thank you for all you guys worldwide do for animals in need. Bless you all for you are angels 😊❤😊❤😊
Andre, great comment, do you eat animals or are you vegan ?
Would you ask that same question of an owl, jjradV?@@jjradV
@@cathymiller5135 owls don't go to the store or restaurant, we do.
Humans can choose from thousands of wonderful nutritious delicious healthy foods that don't deliberately cause suffering and death to anyone.
@@edenaralph great comment, you sound like an animal lover, are you vegan or do you eat the animals ?
@@jjradV I certainly don't eat owls! Weird question!🙄
Awww Pharoah
❤❤❤bless him 😢
These are the type of stories I like to hear good people looking after our animal friends😊😊😊😊😊
Patricia, great comment ,are you vegan ?
Thank you Pharaoh for being a great foster dad ☺🙏🌺🍀⭐💖
Owls are magnificent creatures. And saving them and release them back into the wild is an admirable task.
Thank you Pharo and thank you caretakers!
Fluffy baby owls🥹
What an interesting yet heartwarming video. It's wonderful that the baby owls get to learn from the surrogate dad, and receive the necessary skills to be independent and released into the wild.
They are adorable! And it’s so good that they’ll be able to survive in their natural habitat, once they’re released. What a caring foundation these people have created! 💙💙💙
Pharaoh needs more space. Thank you for saving owls. 🦉
Maybe he transfers to a larger aviary once his fostering is done for the year. Remember, he can't fly very well. We were not told if he likes the company of other adult owls.
@@elizzy8754 Yeah it could be a safety issue. More space means more chances he could hurt himself further.
What a remarkable organization!
Tremendous story and Pharaoh you are fantastic. Don't be down, sadly a new baby needing your care will come in. Thank you for the hard work and care you all supply to these birds❤
Pharaoh is SO PRECIOUS I want to hug him so bad !!!! 7:49 am
Pharaoh is a great foster father and hero! Thanks for all you do to care for the babies and not humanize them. Amazing and amusing to see them in "flight school training" learning to be owls. Such beautiful and curious creature so important for our ecosystem.
💕🦉👁️
Pharaoh. Sweet. Nice to meet you daddy owl 😁🦉🌷
I love Pharaoh!!
I have always wanted to become a rehabilitate volunteer for wild birds and animals. This story is inspiring and I thank you for your time and patience.
This is one of the best videos ever! ❤
I’m so amazed by the fantastic system of rescuing these baby owls AND them being able to actually be out in the wild once they’re old and strong enough!!
The ‘tricks’ like the stuffed owl, the head covering and the hand-feeding-puppet ARE simply GENIUS!! ❤ 😮
And, of course, Pharaoh is the surrogate Dad every little owl wishes they could have! What a wonderful and empathetic animal!
The ACTUAL (!)
…TRUE - WISE - OWL ! !
…Teaching all those little ones the essentials to survive AND THRIVE in their lives, living the free life every single animal deserves (yet often can’t get anymore once things go wrong in their early life.
I AM truly grateful that sanctuaries exist and they do fantastic and very necessary work too, providing good environments for so many animals in need of care/help.
I, of course, also UNDERSTAND why many (most?) animals that HAD to stay in an inappropriate environment, simply because they would not have survived otherwise, cannot live safely in the wild anymore, since they don’t have the good enough developed needed instincts and/or that could NOT sufficiently be taught that necessary ‘survival knowledge’.
Sanctuaries are the absolute best environments for THOSE animals!❤
However…
Living freely in The Wild is (of course) overall always the absolute best place !!! (IF possible)
How amazing ! Bless all of you ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amen 🙏🏾. What a wonderful job you do, thank you 👍🏾❣️💯
So touching.❤❤❤❤❤
Not only is this an amazing story of these people who care for owls but I never knew all of those things about owls. So thank you for that as well.😊❤
What beautiful birds! Their snapping beaks is kind of funny
How fantastic! I live in PA but had no idea there was this program. God Bless you all! ❤😊
There are many different type sanctuaries all over the U.S.
Probably some even close to you.
Some need assistance as in volunteers, donation items or even money donations.
I encourage anyone interested in learning more to check them out. A lot of worthy causes are always looking for people to help in any way they can.
❤
Honestly, unless someone follows channels like this, they are not likely to know about rescue organizations.
I used to volunteer/work at our local nature center; so knew all about our local Raptor Center
Raptor Recovery Nebraska is amaze balls!
😂😂😂 wow... I would not have thought of this strategy to help the baby owl acclimate to wild environment.
A lot of work. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤
How wondrous and joyous!
Awwww, poor baby. I am so happy you found the baby. Thank you....❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sweet. Poor thing 😢😿🦉
Never seen anything like this. I cried. So beautiful 🥰
Sweet, sweet story. I’m emotional ❤
Love that story. The stuffed owl with a heartbeat is genius. Wonderfully well done. Thanks
Wow that's very interesting thank you for all your work and saving these precious babies Pharoah is a fantastic daddy
What ingenious care .. a stuffie with a heartbeat ! Brilliant. Thank you for being there and taking such great care of these beautiful birds.
Thank heaven Pharoah is such a good foster dad!
These owls are so beautiful. It’s a wonderful thing everyone is doing to nurture the babies so they can return to the wild where they belong❤❤❤
What a wonderful rehabilitation center for wildlife. Your treatment of the owls so they can be released in the wild is nothing short of amazing. Pharaoh is such a good surrogate dad to the babies. Please tell me he has a nice enclosure and does not live in that little cage when he's not fostering. That's my only, worry.
I think this is my favourite of the Geobeats I have watched! So interesting and respectful of their dignity. Thankyou for sharing.
Very sweet 😍😍😍😍
Love that a bird is a foster parent!
I love owls they are so beautiful and sometimes comical. Way to go Pharo you rock.

Owls are just so friggin' adorable! Some of the best animals IMO
Owls are so beautiful and magnificent ❤ Thank you for saving this precious baby and doing what’s necessary to release it to the wild where they belong. Pharaoh is absolutely amazing, what a great surrogate dad ❤ it’s a bit heartbreaking that he forms a bond with the owls, then they’re gone. Hope he has other owls to be with at the sanctuary
Absolutely precious!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Such a beautiful creature thank you for saving him 😊
Pharaoh is a hero and a big caring father. The work that you people do is amazing and I am in awe of. Bless your hearts and please carry on the great work that you are doing 🦉😻❤️❤️❤️!! I am so glad that all those sadly orphaned owls can now go back to the wild thanks to yours and Pharaoh's help, love and guidance!! I hope Pharaoh isn't too sad and manages to get lots of love from you. Bless you all ❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!
Magical what these people do to save these birds. wow .
What wonderful work you do to ensure these owls are released back into their natural environment. And as for Pharaoh - WOW! #dadhero 💙💙💙
Bless you ❤
Pharaoh is quite the dad! I really like owls, and it is nice to see the baby and Pharaoh bond.
Gosh they are so beautiful!!!
Thank you for the rescue🙏💗🦉💕💕💕💕
Wow! That is quite a rehab facility! Taking into account not just the survival needs, but their emotional needs.
That is one of the coolest things that's awesome thank you for saving the Owls
I love a good Raptor Center!
Blessings and blessings!
Incredible work between owl and humans.
Thanks all of you 🇦🇺🙏🍀🌻
Oh so beautiful! Lovely daddy❤
I adore and love owls.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
We thank God for people like you!
Really impressive and well thought out care! Outstanding! Sometimes we really have to get over ourselves to give the best care we can. I think a part of us sometimes may subconsciously want credit or approval from the animals themselves, but sometimes we can’t afford that for the animals sake, especially when they are wild. Great job!
What a fantastic organization. Not only are the babies rescued but grow up to be released and "be owls." Animal rescue, rehab, foster - this is where I go to find my heroes. LOVE TO PHARAOH. What a champ. They're also adorable ❤😊❤
Best thing i have seen today, thanks for all you do
