" its pretty hard to break into the rock star scene" boy did this dude eat his fucking words
Who read about this in Dan Ozzi's book "Sellout" ??
I DID!!!!
Ayyyyy
Wow what a great insight into the early days of the band. The bit where he asks about suicide and it if the guy cares about if it affects anyone else in the band was weird, knowing the fate of the drummer not long after. It seems theres a lot of tragedy and misfortune surrounding ATDI in those days, the full extent we may never know. But its not uncommon in that agegroup.
Very interesting to see the band in a state where there are only 2 of the 5 permanent members present. This really is a relic of the band’s history.
Well, technically 1 since they booted Jim out of the (current) band.
Holy shit...this is GOLD! Thanks for posting this!
GO CEDRIC!!! hahaha awesome

Qué chulada!
thanks for uploading this legend!
This dude is so damn old-fashioned. I loved how they never really took this seriously until he brought up Kurt Cobain. That's a subject you have to handle with care and he smeared it with his shit talk.
thank you (:
This host is fantastic
No fucking way WHAT
The host is the best thing about this video, THANKS FOR POSTING
"Richie Valens Junior High!"
someone going mental with the video effects there
Rob Allen Naw that's just the lsd bro
it'll pass
If this was recorded the day before Thanksgiving 1994, and the drummer died in 1994, then he committed suicide within a month of this taping. How sad.
Another source I saw, said it was in early 1995 but still close to that time. It's a bit odd that it wasn't made known until a few years ago when Cedric gave his suicide a passing mention in an interview. I remember reading a detailed enough chapter on their early days in that book POST by Eric Grubbs a few years before that, and there was no mention of this (need to get my hands on a copy and read it again).
that host is kind of a weirdo..he called them "The Drive-In Movie Band"
And he laughed at them when they said they make money doing this. WTF.
