What a superb review, you have a talent for explaining honestly and clearly and the pace and visuals are spot-on. I have used wet shaver for my bald head of last 15 years, but need to save (even more) time in the mornings now, I feel I can trust your recommendations. Thanks very much! 👍
Thank you for your kind words. Yeah, if you use an electric head shaver every day or every two days, it is extremely quick. There are plenty of deals on because of the black Friday week, so I hope you can get a great deal. Thanks again!
I bought the Remington Balder Pro Rx5 and absolutely LOVE it! I've had it for 6 months now, and no negative issues whatsoever. Easy to use, easy to clean and I can shave anywhere at anytime. Not as close as a blade, but totally acceptable as far as closeness is concerned. Great video! Thank you for your opinion.
@budduggly7781 In the description, you can find a link to the RX5 (or Balder Pro) review on the website (Shaving Advisor), or video reviews, and a link to purchase the head shaver. Are any of those what you are looking for? Let me know what link you want specifically, and I will help if you need it.
Great review thanks! I opted for the Remington RX7 instead of the Pitbull Gold Pro as the reviews regarding their customer service and after care were very poor, only 1.6 on trust pilot. And these were quite recent so they don’t seem to have improved on that front.
Just initiated a return request for the Remington Balder Pro. Was working great the first two times, but at my third shave (on 2 days hair), it began to jam and pull hairs. It eventually stopped and never came on again...Looked at this video in order to decide on my next buy. You just convinced me to use blades for now on when you said the Remington was the most reliable one. Thanks!
Yeah, for some guys, it can be best to stick to a manual razor. All electric head shavers are at risk of failure. I guess Remington can send you a replacement. Thanks for sharing!
Good video, I've been using the Skull Shaver which I'm not impressed with, going to try the Remington RX7. I'm glad to see the Proraso products in the background, I discovered them in Italy, excellent products.
Great review so far recently I bought the balder boss and the pit bull gold shaver so far both work great 👍 on both head -face and neck and it gives a really close shave so far to both head face and neck in other words very happy so far to date 😊
I'm struggling to find what electric head shaver to test next. Have you seen any you would like to see reviewed? Im looking for brands rather than the copies and multiple offerings on Amazon, unless one really stands out. Many thanks!
I"m self conscious about buying any of these, I got a giftcard and debating on the Pitbull GOLD. i've read a small amount of "breaking or stops working" reviews. Should I do it???
The biggest issue with head shavers are they are prone to faults (we can't avoid that). I have not had any break apart from 2 cheap ones I bought from Amazon a few years back. Most have 1 year warranty so that helps, but keep the purchase receipt. There is risk involved with the purchase, and it is up to you whether you wish to take the risk. 👍
Thank you for your great advice, I have a Remington RX5, but in the 2 months I’ve had it I have yet to use it as I have some strange anxiety going on about going even shorter than my whal balding clippers cut my hair, but when I have my next holiday from work I will man up and give them a go, the worst case scenario is if I don’t like the look my usual stubbled head will have grown back by the time I return to work 😂
Which head shaver? I covered 5 shavers. I have never used Veroshave. I will give it a go at some point, but I'm not a fan of these more than 5 rotary blade shavers as it's not necessary and gimmicky. Still, I will hold judgement until I have used one.
Alright so Im a little lazy at shaving..... I tend to let me sides which is still pretty think get to long. Of course I havnt found a good maintenance shaver that Id just automatically do daily. The other "amazing" shavers I bought in the past just pull and tug at those hairs so I end up dissappointed and throwing them away going back to my razors. Im interterested in the pit bull gold. Has anyone tried on thicker hair and can confirm that it can cut through those thicker areas without all the pulling, tugging and getting stuck?
They won't cut longer hair, and they are not intended to. It's best to shave with at least the max length of a trimmer (or hair clippers without comb), or it takes way too long. A suggestion is getting a trimmer like the Remington -- shavingadvisor.com/hair-clippers/remington-hc4250/ . It's not that expensive and trims down -- buzz cut style- - very fast because of the wide blade system. You can then choose to use a Pitbull head shaver after to get a close shave or keep the 0.5mm, or like me, you can switch from a very short buzz cut one day to completely shaved another day. You will run into issues shaving hair too long with the Pitbull .
I normally use clippers and go for a grade 2 all over. Would people recommend me changing to a head shaver instead?? I’m thinking that it would be much more convenient if I did.
Maybe you could try clippers without a comb first. Gradual introduction kind of thing. Or have shot at shaving completely as it soon grows back. I would use a razor first, though, rather than committing and buying an electric. Just my thoughts!
Hello mate, just wanted to ask if you've tested any good shavers that actually leave a bit of stubble? Similar to what you get from just using clippers with no guard. I'm after a rotary shaver for the convenience and the fact that it captures the cut hair. Any suggestions would be really appreciated, cheers 👍🏻
There are no trimmers or shavers that leave a stubble, although head shavers are not as close as a manual razor. Have you ever tried the Remington ShortCut Pro (Quickcut and Quickcut Pro --outside the USA)? They are great trimmers than are palm held and leave the hair the same as clipper length without a comb, but you still have to clear up the hair debris. They are super fast at trimming. You can see reviews for them on my website. The OneBlade is great for the stubble effect, but it takes too long to head shave with. Hope that helps a little!
@@shavingadvisor thanks for coming back so quick. I've had a look at the quick cut, not a bad shout mate. I think that might be the best middle ground, cheers for the advice, great vids 👍🏻
Great reviews as I have never used a battery operated shaver on my head before. Been using the Harry’s razors for years as I like the no stubble look. I shave every two days. Which is the closest to skin shaver?
Thank you for your kind comment. Out of all I have used I have found the the Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold the best for getting that bit closer. Shaving with an electric head shaver every 2 days is ideal. Do look in the description area for links to the seperate reviews if you need them.
I’ve got the microtouch. After 1 month one of the drives for a blade stopped working and now it won’t charge. Otherwise it was good. Going to return it and upgrade to the pitbull gold I think
Thanks for sharing. That's the issue with the MicroTouch head shaver I have seen with others. I am still using mine and expecting it to break--but it is a really comfortable shave. It is a real shame that it stops working for many as its blade system is very good. Really appreciate your feedback on that one!
@@shavingadvisor 100% loved the shave it gave. It was comfortable to use. Worked well. Till it didn’t. Worst part is, here is Aus, microtouch is $80 and the pitbull gold is $210. Big jump. But worth it I suspect
@JuicyAUS I am the same about the MicroTouch, and I will continue to see how mine goes. I will contact the company at some point again, too, to see what they have to say about it. That is a huge jump in price... damn. I'm not sure what else you can go for other than the RX5 or RX7, as I have not found any better, as mentioned in the video. I wish I could create my own that outdoes these in terms of longevity, but my guess is getting these made at a profit does not come cheap. Hope you find one that works well for you.
Hi Jason, Great videos and reviews. I understand you focus on different variables for your ranking. However, if you must focus only in “closeness of shave”, which one would you choose? If it is not in your current ranking, do its closeness really make the difference compared to the ones in your ranking? In your web page you mentioned Andis ProFoil Lithium Shaver. Is that the one? Thank you!
Thanks for your comment. I am actually going to update the Web page and only include dedicated head shavers (I want to keep it very focused). Between the Remingtons and Skull Shavers there is not much difference in closeness. I find the Pitbull Gold gets closer more comfortably than others. The Andis does get very close and similar to the best head shavers I have mentioned, but it does not have the obvious ergonomics, which makes it best suited for fades. Most facial shavers will shave the head fine, too, and the higher end shavers do a great job--but I think they are best when facial shaving with electric shavers is a must. Hope that helps. 👍
I prefer the Pitbull Gold Pro if I was not considering the cost. If the RX7 was much cheaper and I was trying to save money, then I would go for the RX5 or RX7. The Gold Pro is a much more comfortable shave.
@Misha_________ @Misha_________ It depends if it is priced right wherever you are from. The silver is a good head shaver. Maybe check my Gold Pro vs Silver video out for my experience. 👍
I probably would not recommend one for only five times a year and recommend using whichever razor they currently use a sit is so infrequent. However, for using a head shaver infrequently I probably would suggest one of the Remington head shavers as they are not too expensive. Hope that helps!
Have you tried the manscape dome shaver yet? My wife just got me one but haven’t opened it yet. $140! I’m scared to use in fear that it will suck. I was planning on returning it and getting the skull shaver. Any opinion on that?
Thanks for your comment. You are the 2nd person to ask this week. I have been reluctant to try it as I am with many others. It looks similar to the Groomie BaldiePro with some slight differences. The price tag is a bit ouch. However, I am going to have to bite the bullet and get one and do a video on it. Maybe just give it a go, and if it's not right, then return it. I could be missing something that could be really good about it. It needs to be more than good for 140 usd, though. Let me know what you do. Thanks
I prefer the Pitbull Gold as the best head shaver for comfort and better blades with more flex. But the Remington Boss is a good option, only if it is priced up right and closer to the cost of the Balder Pro, as mentioned in the video.
@@shavingadvisor OK great! Thank you for your quick response. I'm new to head shaving looking for the best one. I'm overwhelmed with all the options lol.
@StuartHoskinson-he4wx You are welcome. Yeah, there is a lot of choice, especially all those on Amazon. I've used more than most people, and it's been a challenge to find a great shaver. The rest you see in the videos I have used really did not perform well enough for me. Good luck with your search.
Well i've been using the rx5 its good but my hair grows so fast that by next evening i have a whole sweater on the back of my head sometimes i do forget it, so in less then a few shaves i need to dismantle all blades individually and then getting them back in because the sweater residue is entangled in the blade. So im using razors which gets me through a whole day without shaving all my sweaters
@@shavingadvisor yes if you take off a sweater my head will hit some part of it so that'll become the next colour which gets inbetween the blade and the cover
@TheMistery92 Ohh, Okay. I got ya. I've never thought of that being an issue. So I guess the stubble kind of catches the fibres of the sweater. Thanks for sharing, and I hope your razor solution works as they will shave closer. 👍
@@shavingadvisor Well the problem is the blades get dull after a few sessions so i need a bald shaver and then going after it with the blade. Since the rx5 isn't the easiest to clean the blades and the rings which click them back in are slowly breaking, need an alternative :)
I would say the Pitbull Gold Pro gives a slightly closer shave, but the best thing with the Pitbull is the additional comfort. The difference in closeness is minor, though! Hope that helps a little!
Great video, I've been using skull shavers for years now. I had a bad experience with the Pitbull after it only lasted 13 months before it completely died on me and Skull shaver wouldn't replace or repair it. I then started using the cheap £15 eBay electric shavers with the skull shaver blades but Skull shaver changed the head fitment design so I went back to using the original Skull shaver brand as their blades are fantastic. Im using the Skull shaver palm at the moment (with the larger Pitbull 5 blade heads) and it's fine but I think I'm going to try the Remington rx7 after seeing this.
Thanks for sharing your head shavers journey. The Palm is not a bad shaver and cheap enough. The RX7 blades are not as comfortable as the Skull Shaver brands, but I have found it a decent shaver.
Interesting you should ask that as I'm going through a bunch of matte moisturizing products testing for the best ones, right now. Once I get enough I will get a video out. They will be live on the website first before I have enough that i am satisfied to share a video on. The best so far just based on mattifying is the Zero Shine (pricey stuff). Take a look at this page of what i have used so far which includes Zero Shine shavingadvisor.com/bald-head/
I am also trying one right now, from Loreal Men Expert, and it's pretty good and not expensive. That review will be on the website in a couple of days or so.
Bought a Remington Balder Pro today. I also returned it today. Apparently it’s ok for Walmart to put a used head shaver back on the shelf and resell it as new!
They are kind of in an order but loosely. I do have a preference for the comfort from the better blade system on the Gold Pro. However, the Boss has features and a design that some guys might prefer over the head shavers like the Skull Shavers. The main thing is those are the best 5 out of what I have used that all have something/s one person might prefer over another.
I am currently on my THIRD Pitbull Skull Shaver. I've had one Pitbull silver and two gold. Silver still kinda works (but bad) and today my second Pitbull gold died completely. When it works - It's great! But I really can't recommend it.
Damn. That's unfortunate, and many do experience faults with theirs. Mine all still working fine, but I don't use them all the time. Unfortunately, there are no electric head shaver brands or models that I am aware of that do not have their faults and die on users. The safest bet is sticking with a manual razor. Thanks for sharing with us 👍
@@shavingadvisor Yeah it's really unfortunate. The first gold was bought from Amazon so getting a replacement was easy enough. Last one was bought from their offical site which i've heard isn't the easiest to get a regund on. It's a shame 'cause they are good when they work. Thanks for the video though. Super helpful! :)
@LeagueOfLegendary Do try and get a replacement and give me a shout to let me know how it goes. If you have issues with them and as long as it fits the warranty conditions, I will help out and get in touch with them. You are a loyal customer, so they need to take care of you, bro!!! Use my website contact form if you need me.
I was thinking about the skull shaver gold but with the 5 blade attachment. However i was interested in the groomie as well which is 5 blades. I'm torn on which to get honestly.
You can purchase an extra 5 blade head with the Pitbull Gold Pro if needed, but to be honest 4 is fine and 5 blades is the most I think we need. Did you mean the Groomie BaldiePro or Remington Balder Pro? I'm not a fan of the Groomie but some other guys get along with it okay. Both the Pitbull Gold and Remingtons (BalderPro or BalderBoss) are the best head shavers I have used so far. I'm just putting together a review of the Skull Shaver Platinum that you can watch in the next couple of days, but I generally recommend the Pibull Gold over that. Best of luck with what you choose! 👍
@shavingadvisor I was speaking of the groomie baldie pro. I saw a few good things about it and it's cheaper to purchase in the states vs pitbull. However I've seen the pitbull has better blade quality. The only reason I thought about 5 blade was for more mass area to cut faster. Also I believe the groomie baldie pro has higher rpm motor vs the pitbull. I'm not sure if it actually matters that much but it's something I noticed.
@mr3000gtman I have a full review on the Groomie, but lack of comfort was the main factor ( review -- shavingadvisor.com/electric-shavers/groomie-baldiepro/ ). I also have a video you can check out on it -- see the main page. Hope they help!
I've used skull shaver fr 5 months now and the battery sucks , I can't even get one hair shave out of it noe as to be charge straight away, I use a baby bliss to remove all my hair and that's close , then I finish with a skull shaver , but it just runs our I would not Recommend this shaver
Thanks for the reviews, they are of a great help. I m planing to get one of those shavers and as I am on the budget, I am considering between Remington rx5 and Skull shaver Palm. At the moment a Remington rx5 costs some 45 euro while Skull Palm is 40 euro. By checking your other reviews I somehow got a feeling that Remington would be a better bang for the buck, in a regard of longevity and shaving quality. What would be your opinion? Thank you.
Had Remington Rx7 for about 2 months, was shaving my head on each second day, few times got it on third day. From beginning it felt battery kind a lacking, but nwm i just recharge it after every 4-5 uses. After a month or so when i start it (even battery it was full) it kinda stuck and flash lights and then is dead until you recharge it ... then if you have luck it works if not it get stuck again. Sometimes was helpful to take of blades and then put em quick when shaver is ON, but it can stuck even that way.....and last day of RX7 was when it happen 3-4 times in row... recharge, try turn it on, stuck, recharge and repeat....so i lost about 4-5 hrs to charging it....got mad on it and crashed it on the flor :) (not proud of it sigh). So i still want electric head shaver...looking towards PitBull but...its more expensive, was reading about some problems with it too....and im so afraid to drop my money again...especially coz i need to buy em from USA or other country and pay shipping to Bosnia about 45-50 USD.... so it bring price up even more for me....
Damn. That's a shame about your Remington RX7 head shaver. You could have got a replacement (warranty), but I guess you know that. All the electric head shavers come with the risk of faults, unfortunately. I hope you can get yourself one sorted and that delivery charge is pretty high, isn't it. Thanks for sharing!
@@davidcupra4913 dont know...heard that some people also had to attach blade head when is shaver turned on to unstuck it... I got myself a PitBull Gold...paid 50 usd for shipping to me...and now is hard to get blades here...or ill also need to pay 30 40 usd for blades shipping 🤣 but for now, it works fine...its better feel when shaving,my back of the head and neck are not irritated. And i think it doing more clean shave.
If you are from the US, it costs around 100 USD. And if you are from the US, you should still be able to pick up a Silver Pro for around 65 USD, which is pretty good.
I have always used clippers to cut my hair, but have recently been looking at switching to an electric shaver, so glad i've found your channel. My main question would be, which is best for comfort? I have quite sensitive skin when using a razor on my face, so am expecting my head to be similar! Also, something that's rarely mentioned, I quite a few moles on my head, are electric shavers ok with these? Thanks in advance. Keep up the good work, your a god send for people like me 👍
Thanks for your kind comment. The Skull Shaver Pitbull is most definitely the head shaver I have found most comfortable. You might want to look at the video I made live yesterday that compares the Skull Shaver with a Remington head shaver as I cover the comfort factor clearly in that and the blades. Your moles should be fine with an electric head shaver as the blades don't slice like a manual blade. Keep us posted on how you get. Thanks
Go for it. I still have a buzz cut with clippers, minus a comb at times, and at other times, shave bald. It's worth doing once just for the experience. Welcome to baldness land 😂😂😂😂😂
Life is way better afterwards, have no fear, my experience is you get real respect for the honesty and courage this step requires. Those who show no respect to your proudly bald decision are led in the moment merely by their own fears and insecurities, so not worth worrying about what they say ;-)
I have the S9, S9 Pro and S9 Pro (and all other series). S9 is excellent if you have facial shave as well, but it does not have the ergonomics a dedicated head shaver has. Suffice to say, it's a whole subject that's not black and white (too many ifs, maybes and buts). Thanks for sharing!
Very helpful mate for me currently in the market for a new headshaver. Good to see you're from the UK also, but not sure if I class your accent as a fellow northerner being from the Midlands? 😅 It's a point of debate, would you say your northerner or Southerner...
Haha. I would say we are unique souls caught in the middle. The family actually moved further up the North East of England so we could be a little Norther than South once we pick up a better Yorkshire accent! Let me know how you get on with your head shaver choice. Thanks for your comment--much appreciated 👍
Hmmm! I thinking on buy a head shaver, but, looking those you shown, they are all too noisy! Is annoying hear that noise pressing against your head! Something else, can they "shave", I mean, can you shave not so close to your head skin with those shavers, and use them as well, to close to shaving on your face like face shavers? Please, let me know, because I am new to head shaving! My "B front evil head mark" is growing each year
They will sound noisier on the video because of the mic. The Skull Shaver models are pretty quiet. You can only shave close to the skin with electric head shavers and will have to use hair clippers without a comb attached to get a very close cut but not shave. Let me know if these interest you shavingadvisor.com/hair-clippers/ . All the best!
@@shavingadvisor Can you attach a hair clipper to an electric shaver? If not, I will have to test by myself both, the Shaver Pro and the Haircut Pro from Remington.
I would go with Remington, being the most reliable and one of the safest buys. The Skull Shavers are more comfortable, and if a person likes the patented ergonomics design, then they might consider them more. The MicroTouch is more comfortable than the Remingtons, too--but my concern is longevity. Hope that helps a little!
I bought the Remington RX5 from Argos, who refunded without any argument. For the short time it worked it was pretty good especially for £48, wouldn't trust a Remington product again
@shavingadvisor The Skull Shaver is fantastic, compared to the Remington RX5 the build quality is much better, ergonomics are very good, the charger is USB rather than 2 pin plug. The Skull Shaver head fits the contours of the skull and shaves closer and more smoothly The Skull Shaver is more expensive but it's worth every penny.
@@shavingadvisor I really liked the shaver when it worked. The 2nd power head is still under warranty, but I refuse to pay for the return shipping,. I now don't trust the quality of the product and feel I would be throwing good money after bad. I will look for another brand.
@sarsar5189 Yes, you have to pay the shipping, which is not great. It's hard to find any head shaver that lasts for many guys. It could be one of the Remingtons last better for you as I have had less reports (not zero) on them stopping working etc. Even worse reports on some of the others. I wish you luck on your next shaver anyway, and if you find something great, I would love to hear back.
My Baldie Pro worked GREAT until it didn't..lasted about 5mos before it started acting wierd and then died!! Sent emails to Groomie, and guess what? You're correct no response...but they kept shipping blades for a shaver that no longer works...even after cancelling my subscription.
All electric head shavers have the potential to fault, but not honoring or even replying to returns/replacements is something I can't get my head around. This is one reason I am almost ready to recommend none other than the Remingtons, as I know they honor the warranty period. Sorry to hear about your poor experience. Thanks for sharing!
Here is my full review on the Groomie head shaver shavingadvisor.com/electric-shavers/groomie-baldiepro/ . I also have a video on it. The bottom line is that the others mentioned in the best head shavers video are better.
That's unfortunate. It happens with all electric head shavers on occasions, unfortunately. How long did you have it until the battery died? Have you returned it for a replacement yet? Thanks for sharing!
I wouldn't say it was no good, but it wasn't as good or as comfortable as others. This is my review that might help with more detail -- shavingadvisor.com/electric-shavers/groomie-baldiepro/
Great review just to let you know I bought the balder boss and the gold version of the skull shaver by pit bull both work very good 👍 so far very close shave to both head and face and neck so far 😊In other words very happy 😊
I’m returning the Groomie after 2.5wks of use. This past week my Groomie started shaking pretty erratic while shaving and wasn’t as smooth during the shave as it originally was upon delivery. The shaver itself was operating like a massager (pouncing up & down) and the motor became extremely loud while moving around during use, although it was still shaving hair. Then this morning, it actually was slowing down and dying upon use despite being fully charged. When I removed the blade portion to inspect, I saw that one of the circular rubber pieces where the spinning portion affixes to the blade attachment was out of place.
I laughed at first at your comment but then decided to check the stats. In November the overall stats went up for women and then went up a lot more this month (December). My guess is that this is due to the sales and Xmas period where women are looking for gifts for their men, then checking out reviews. I will keep an eye on the stats over the next couple for months though. Good shout and thanks for the comment!

How does this compare to Veroshave 2.0?
You will run into issues shaving hair too long with the Pitbull .
i had four headshavers and they are terrible to clean and get hair out of
I've never had that issue. Is that when you have shaved with more than 3 or 4 days of growth?
Thanks for the great review! Can you please clarify if it works while charging by wire connected to the wall? Or it only works with battery?
You're welcome. Which head shaver is your question about? There are 5 head shavers on the video.
what is the best choice?
Remington Balder RX5 or Pitbull Gold Pro?
not including the economic part.
I prefer the Pitbull Gold Pro. It's more comfortable, and while the head does not pivot, the blade system hugs the contours of the head better.
@@shavingadvisor It was already my opinion. I will buy. thanks for the help
@lucianomsilva8934 Excellent. Good Luck with your new shaver.
@stoneymiketube I think it might be. It is a great trimmer and super easy for head trimming. You're welcome 👍
Same problem monument stopped working. It worked great until it stopped
@@Cletis-g6n Was that the MicroTouch head shaver?
Hi Jason,
Great videos and reviews.
@@shavingadvisor Helps a lot. Thanks!
@@mauriciomoscoso7779 You're welcome.
I have a budget of around £100, would you advise Remington RX7 or Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold Pro
I prefer the Pitbull Gold Pro if I was not considering the cost. If the RX7 was much cheaper and I was trying to save money, then I would go for the RX5 or RX7. The Gold Pro is a much more comfortable shave.
Thank you for the great advice and videos. I am so pleased to have found your channel.
I will buy a Skull Shaver on Black Friday.
@Dave20125 You're welcome. Glad it's helped Dave. Yeah, grab one on a black Friday or other bargain sale day. 👍 😉 👍
@@shavingadvisorsilver no ?
@Misha_________ @Misha_________ It depends if it is priced right wherever you are from. The silver is a good head shaver. Maybe check my Gold Pro vs Silver video out for my experience. 👍
Hi which electric shaver would you recommend for someone who would only use it like 5 times a year for his head?
Thanks
I use the Freebird and it's very good
Great. Thanks for sharing 👍
So is the balder boss or the skull shaver gold better?
Great review mate 👍
Thank you 👍
Well i've been using the rx5 its good but my hair grows so fast that by next evening i have a whole sweater on the back of my head sometimes i do forget it, so in less then a few shaves i need to dismantle all blades individually and then getting them back in because the sweater residue is entangled in the blade.
So im using razors which gets me through a whole day without shaving all my sweaters
What do you mean by sweater? Do you mean your hair on the back of your head grows back fast?
So I see that the Remington is the best but which one gives the closest shave
I would say the Pitbull Gold Pro gives a slightly closer shave, but the best thing with the Pitbull is the additional comfort. The difference in closeness is minor, though! Hope that helps a little!
@@shavingadvisor thanks so much
@Johnathan_Johnson You're welcome. Have a great day!
What do you ise on your head for the matte no shine look??
Blimey. They've got a cheek!
Omg!
Are these in in order or just your top five in no other? If they’re in order, I’m surprised to see the Pro above the Boss.
@@shavingadvisor
Gotcha, so they are interchangeable really, just depends on the person. Thank you!
@TylerJosephSmith Yeah. You got it. Personal preferences kind of thing.
Good review mate
Thank you. Have a great weekend 👍
@shavingadvisor you didn't care to much for the groomie baldie pro?
I'm not a big fan of Remington products which is why I didn't consider them
@mr3000gtman I have a full review on the Groomie, but lack of comfort was the main factor ( review -- shavingadvisor.com/electric-shavers/groomie-baldiepro/ ). I also have a video you can check out on it -- see the main page. Hope they help!
I've used skull shaver fr 5 months now and the battery sucks , I can't even get one hair shave out of it noe as to be charge straight away, I use a baby bliss to remove all my hair and that's close , then I finish with a skull shaver , but it just runs our I would not Recommend
this shaver
Thanks for the reviews, they are of a great help. I m planing to get one of those shavers and as I am on the budget, I am considering between Remington rx5 and Skull shaver Palm. At the moment a Remington rx5 costs some 45 euro while Skull Palm is 40 euro. By checking your other reviews I somehow got a feeling that Remington would be a better bang for the buck, in a regard of longevity and shaving quality. What would be your opinion? Thank you.
Thank you. I agree, the Remington RX5 head shaver would be a good choice based on your budget.
Mine very same issues. It’s a nightmare. Iv heard the rx5 is better.
@@Code_nameX I’ll look into that one. It’s expensive?
Thanks
@@shavingadvisor thanks for the quick reply. Will definitely check out the comparison video, cheers 👍

do it. I did and I WAAY prefer the shaved head look better than when I had hair.
Did you do it?
@@Oldhandle012 not yet.
Life is way better afterwards, have no fear, my experience is you get real respect for the honesty and courage this step requires. Those who show no respect to your proudly bald decision are led in the moment merely by their own fears and insecurities, so not worth worrying about what they say ;-)
Try the Braun 9. It's much better for head shaving.
Thanks for your comment--much appreciated 👍
thanks great video

@MyTripRoads No. Hair clipper combs won't fit on a shaver as they are not designed for that. Good luck with what you find and try 👍

You are welcome. Thank you!
So Remington is best?
I would go with Remington, being the most reliable and one of the safest buys. The Skull Shavers are more comfortable, and if a person likes the patented ergonomics design, then they might consider them more. The Skull Shaver is fantastic, compared to the Remington RX5 the build quality is much better, ergonomics are very good, the charger is USB rather than 2 pin plug.
The Skull Shaver head fits the contours of the skull and shaves closer and more smoothly
The Skull Shaver is more expensive but it's worth every penny.
I have used two Pitbull Gold shavers in less than two years and the power heads have gone bad. I'm done with Pitbull.
Thanks for sharing. Do you mean the blade heads had a problem (i.e., went bad)? I own all of them and seem to have been lucky and they all still work.
To be clear, the power heads are what went bad.
@@shavingadvisor I really liked the shaver when it worked. The 2nd power head is still under warranty, but I refuse to pay for the return shipping,. I now don't trust the quality of the product and feel I would be throwing good money after bad. I will look for another brand.
@sarsar5189 Ohh I see. They are USB types and are easy to replace.
You, like I, am bald. So I trust you
Thanks. Yeah, I am most definitely in support of us balding gents.
Thanx baldy.

Yep, mines just died after a couple of years. Didn't even use it that much
So the Groomie is no good?
I wouldn't say it was no good, but it wasn't as good or as comfortable as others. This is my review that might help with more detail -- shavingadvisor.com/electric-shavers/groomie-baldiepro/
Great review just to let you know I bought the balder boss and the gold version of the skull shaver by pit bull both work very good 👍 so far very close shave to both head and face and neck so far 😊In other words very happy 😊
I just got my Groomie and it did a much better shave than the last two I've owned.
@Mexi_Khan That's great. Which other two head shavers did you use before the Groomie BaldiePro? Thanks for sharing!
Wonder how much his female viewship on this video has gine up since the election?
I laughed at first at your comment but then decided to check the stats. In November the overall stats went up for women and then went up a lot more this month (December). My guess is that this is due to the sales and Xmas period where women are looking for gifts for their men, then checking out reviews. I will keep an eye on the stats over the next couple for months though. Good shout and thanks for the comment!
