I can't express how eloquently you explain everything! Even the hardest concepts seem easy when you teach us through your videos. I've been grateful to you for years now and will surely be forever grateful to you for your contribution to the society! Lots of love and prayers, Sir.
Thank you so much!! It's so hard to find a clear and concise explanation of his tags, and I understood so much more after watching your video. Keep it up!
I always prepare my Biochemistry notes or any doubts,i clear it by listening ur tutorial videos sir....thnks alott.... very very nice and clear explanations ....very easy to understand the concepts...
Shomu's Biology Hi dada, can you please do videos on Phase 1 and phase 2 reaction for drug metabolism please!! I believe you can better explain these. I really need a better understanding on those materials.
hello..... hope you are doing well..... i just want to thank you because this video saved my annual exam as i dont understand how to prepare it from a book chapter. it was written soo soooo difficulte there. thank u soo much again . keep it up.... good job.
Thanku SO Much Sir...I Am from Pakistan ...I Have lot of Doubts about this topic.....But u use very simple way to explain ....that is easy for me to prepare this topis ... :)
Watching stuff like this reminds me how much extra irrelevant information they like to pass out at uni. Everything is pretty simple when summarised to its core elements and outcomes
Thank you for your videos Sir, you are really helpful. I have only a question for you: which technique do you use to separate antibodies from antigens attached to agarose?
Hi Sir, can u explain why certain proteins need a Fc tag to be purified? Does the Fc tag have affinity to the variable region of the antibody? Thank you!
@@shomusbiologyofficial Sir you're just replying okay but not making video on most of the topic we suggested....so please upload the video as soon as possible 🙏
Thank you so much!! Can I ask one question? If I set up an affinity column using antibody and antigen, can all the antigen be isolated? In other words, is 100% recovery possible?
Yes brother It is possible to recover all components by choosing suitable ligand as adsorbent material I started a new channel with inspiration of shomu sir. If possible, please watch my channel
Please tell me in my proteins solution i have enterokinase enzyme so i have to remove EK with affinity chromatography? Which resin which buffer how ek bind to resin plz explain me it help me lot
Both techques useful for separation of serum components. Time & cost of analysis varies. Affinity chromatography is taking less time to separate components than electrophoresis. I have started new channel by inspiration of shomu sir lectures. Please watch my channel.
Usually buffer solution like tris buffer, pyridine buffer, etc I started channel with inspiration of shomu sir. I did video on ion exchange chromatography.
This is still my favorite explanation for affinity chromatography. Thank you, always.

How components from serum sample can be separated? Is it by affinity chromatography or by immunoelectrophoresis?
