Hi, Miro! I bought one from Thailand and cut it in half to acclimate it. One made it, the other did not. The one that did is growing beautifully and I agree, once it gets going, it’s a good little grower. I appreciate the advice to set the plant up from the beginning with plenty of trellis. I have mine in a base of leca topped with tree fern and I keep the leca wet. I agree with you that it is a very thirsty one! It is currently living on my screened pool patio in central FL, loving life!! I appreciate the background information and bloom photos. I will have to go back and fine the other videos you did on it 😊 and watch them.
Hi Miro, Love this Hoya, love your channel! Many thanks for all your time and efforts to put out good content and to educate your viewers with your trademark humor. Makes for a very enjoyable experience by your viewers. I’ve learned a lot about Hoyas from watching your channel and I thank you! 👌🪴🥰
Always exciting to hear a foreigner speak my mother tongue 😁 Ich erwarte ein Update der Hoya Exilis in 2 Jahren auf Deutsch 🧐 Thanks for another enjoyable episode of my favourite Series. Always appreciated :)
Miro you are so talented with languages! I am so impressed. When you spoke german you sounded like that was your home. Wow. Your english is impeccable. I havent heard the Hungarian yet. Is there another language of which i am unaware? That hoya is beautiful.
This was fun and informative, thank yous! Also thanks for sharing the dropped leaves Will you film tackling that intervined tent? What is your top 10 of Hoyas? (Mine keeps changing 😅) I don’t have this one……. Perhaps someday 😊 Sorry to hear about your Ikea order, I hope what you need will be back in stock soon
Is there some kind of "rule of thumb" for determining whether to trellis or not? Also, to choose whether to use a flat or round trellis... Maybe a video???❤
@@BasiePlants Which is, of course, what I did. You were great on the "Let's Talk Hoya" podcast. Jeez, when you come to the US again, we're goin' out for cocktails.
Hello Miro! Unfortunately I don’t have this gorgeous Hoya. I did look it up and it requires importing to the states. I’ll keep an eye out for it. I think I could talk Hoyas with you for hours! I always look forward to your Hoyas of the week, you are always a wealth of information! 💚🪴
Coming for the Hoyas, staying for the information and personality 💚
Awww ❤️
