Chinghungensis is absolutely more interesting and beautiful than half the variegated hoya coming out lately, I wasnt sure about it until i got a tiny cutting and I must say she's so perfect! Super underrated too
Also, whenever a hoya friend is over I get asked about what my chinghungensis is since it's so cute. Mine is still tiny, no blooms yet, recently chopped to try to make fuller, but still makes an impression. Can't wait for mine to grow more! started with a couple nodes near the beginning of the year and she's been growing well
Hey Miro, thanks for introducing rindu rafflesia… I checked my plant she’s in a large put and the internodes ar constantly 15 to 20 cm long. I can understand that you want to restart:) but think about the flowers 😈 I gave mine a big trellis so it looks “ok”;)) Don’t know… have the leaves fallen off the bare shoots? If not you can try to let them grow upright… Don’t melt away!
I can't get enough of this kind of video. I could literally watch you talk about hoyas all day and the b roll is just chef's kiss 🤌 Also your hair; this length, the layers.. simply stunning ✨
Now I need an sp. Rindu Rafflesia. I saw the leaves and was obsessed and then you showed the blooms! Yellow flowers are my favorite and those pinky purple coronas are just perfect. I'm already running out of space in my apartment :(
Miro the decorator channel of Hoyas!? Your cool white shirt is visually a wonderful choice for the all white background, you are obviously a man of many talents…oh and we need another cake baked. And the Hoyas shown were awesome too 🌱🤍
Miro there you are again becoming the only thing I talk about at the Hoya addict meeting. “You will not believe all the new Hoya I need now…” they warned me that next time I talk about you they are kicking me out! 😉 I am all for seeing more blooms 😊
I hear ya about the heat. It’s been terribly hot and humid here in Florida. I’m so looking forward to Nov when it will cool off a bit. Thanks for the video Miro. I don’t care if you make short, medium or long videos. I will watch them all. 🌱💚🌱
"Blooms of the month" - yes, please :) Another very enjoyable video, thank you. I only knew about two of the hoya you showed, never heard of the others, so that was interesting. Throwing some shade on Hoya Bella in the process, I noticed. However, I am beginning to see why she is so popular. I found a ripped off piece on the ground at a plant store and this piece has now grown into a respectsble plant and it blooms *non stop*. And the blossoms smell so good. I do think the plant itself is a bit ugly, really don't care for the messy growth pattern, but the blooms are just everything 🥰 I feel that Hoya Soidaoensis is also vastly underappreciated 👀 Eager bloomer, but a pain to get to root. Maybe that's why 😅
Loved all the Hoya’s you showcased,I don’t know why I haven’t heard or seen them,I definitely would buy all the ones in this video. Thank you for that! Natalie 🪴🪴❤️
I’m following your example by putting A LOT of my plants in self-watering pots. Is there any downside I should be aware of? I have hundreds of plants and so many of them can’t tolerate drying out (ivies, carnivorous, peace lilies, etc.). Fungus gnats are why I bottom water every one I can but it takes me days! Maybe you could do a video on the pros and cons of self-watering pots? Do they make a difference in the growth of your Hoyas or is it more of a convenience issue? ❤
I hope you haven't melted by now! Great video, thanks for sharing! We have a heat wave for 10days these days in UK and I quite feel you! I like hoya exiles and I wish I old have a cutting! Thanks very much for sharing and would love a highlight on the hoya.😊
I would love a video in detail for each and everyone of the hoyas you have. I enjoy your stroy telling very much and love to learn about hoya origins and history.
Nice video! When you were talking about the hoya exilis, you mentioned that it had compact growth. I would love to see a video of all your favorite hoyas with compact growth.
Thank you very much for all your videos about Hoyas. I only recently found your channel (it was recommended to me) and I immediately subscribed. There is so much to learn from you and you do it in a really charismatic way. I also sent you a PM on your blog page in FB. Kind regards, Aleksandra
I am one of the authors of Hoya cutis-porcelana and was the one who came up with the name. The most common representative of this taxon is the RJ-1, which you have, but the type form is much, much less seen. The type form has gained quite a bit of notoriety for being somewhat finicky; it even has a tendency to shoot out long vining tips that are barren with leaves but will commonly push out peduncles which makes it a bit more iffy to propagate using cuttings taken from the plant's tips. Nevertheless, I am of the view that RJ-1 may be a totally different entity, either as a potentially undescribed subspecies of H. cutis-porcelana, or a totally different yet closely related species.
I absolutely love all of those! But there’s a special place in my heart for chinghungensis. But I have been looking for one for 2 years with no luck! I’m so jealous
I would also love to see a video on Hoyas that refuse to bloom. For example, Hoya nicholsoniae NGG. Mine has become a huge, bushy plant but not 1 peduncle.
I'm struggling with a small cutting of benguetensis. I really hoping for it to start rooting. Increase my humidity and Warmth maybe. Thanks again for the video.
Very nice. How do you keep cutis porcelana from quickly getting out of control? I struggle with keeping her nice as every time I re-wrap her she looks like an awkward teenager even though she is a very mature plant. Also where can we find those sheets at the beginning that compare leaves? Thanks
Thank you for another informative video. Your B flower shots are genius. I’ll be keeping my eyes pealed for this suggested selections. 💚😎💚 also, highlight video on each Hoya. Current bloomers?
They’re my favorite thing on the videos, Hoya flowers are so unique and colorful, and the fantastic close ups really show the texture. A video of just luscious flower close ups ( and a couple leaves) with a brief comment would be amazing! 🌸
Would love Hoya Blooms of the month! I just started watching a while ago so question; Clearly Hoyas r ur passion but do u grow other plant Genre/Species?
Im from the Philippines and I can't believe it took me this long to get the name "Hoya cutis-porcelana" 😭 basically, it comes from the idiom "Kutis Porselana" (porcelain complexion) which is used to describe someone with smooth and fair skin, which ,I guess, is very fitting for the plant.
Would love video on Hoya Bhutanica.. I see all different Hoyas posted named Bhutanica and just curious how many are there or which on is true Bhutanica. I started to think I didn’t have a Bhutanica but then I found some that looks like mine but can’t seem to find a lot of info. Bc I see some sunstressed red and mine doesn’t..😩😵💫
Instead of 30 Days of Hoyas, maybe do Four Weeks of Hoyas and highlight seven hoyas per video. You could film them as shorts but combine them into four longer videos (one per week) so that they don't mess things up with UA-cam. (Disclaimer: I have zero clue what goes into videos, editing, etc., so please ignore if that is a bad suggestion.)
when showing sp rindu and you mentioned under watering... how is that possible when you use self watering pots? I assumed that was the point of those? or is this an older video before that change?
Excuse me sir, I’m over here trying not to buy any more plants. I have no room and you go showing some lovely Hoyas, many I’ve not heard of. The Chinghungensis is a wish list. I just lost another Bella, maybe it’s time to replace her with this guy. P.S. nice hair cut and love the shirt!
please help me find the hoya with small leaves and flowers which you showed , called hoya chinghungensis , I fell in love with it , beautiful, please help find it , I live in Canada, may be you can send me a little cutting , I will pay for it thank you
Some of these shown have the long sword shape, and, being a novice, my guesses were pubicalyx; how do the pubicalyxes differ from these you've kindly shown?
They are all very different species than Hoya pubicalyx :) The flowers are very different, shape of the leaves. Some are from Philippines like pubicalyx, but very different species that are unrelated :)
Please do a series about "Hoya blooms of August/September/October...etc" that would be awesome.
YES 🙌
I NEED THAT SHIRT!
Chinghungensis is absolutely more interesting and beautiful than half the variegated hoya coming out lately, I wasnt sure about it until i got a tiny cutting and I must say she's so perfect! Super underrated too
Blooming hoyas of the month-yes please 😁💚
The Rindu Rafflesia has such cute blooms! I love that color combo.
It is really very pretty

Write a book!!! There are not enough books on Hoya. I love your knowledge and enthousiasm!
I sooo wish I could get one of your cuttings! And I love your idea with the “what’s blooming this month” videos! Such a great idea!
I think I might have to start doing videos like that :)
Hey Miro, thanks for introducing rindu rafflesia… I checked my plant she’s in a large put and the internodes ar constantly 15 to 20 cm long. I can understand that you want to restart:) but think about the flowers 😈

These hoyas are beautiful. Thanks for your commitment even tho you are melting. Blooms of the month would be great!
Hoya Blooms of the Month???? Ahhhh...YES, PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!
I would love to see a video on Hoya benguetensis. Growth pattern, watering, care tips, different color flowers, fast or slow grower, etc. Love this
I can't get enough of this kind of video. I could literally watch you talk about hoyas all day and the b roll is just chef's kiss 🤌
Also your hair; this length, the layers.. simply stunning ✨
We've been so hot here too! But finally we will have a week of cool weather before more heat comes back. Ugh! But the hoyas are happy!
I love the videos when you highlight a certain hoya! It's like hoya school with Miro :)
I recently purchased a Chinghungensis and I’m in love with it! The growth habit is very cool 💃🏻
Yees! Like a "Highlights of the month" or something like that, would love it!
Hoya (bloom) of the month videos - YES!
If I find a way to make them fun 😂
All of them are so joyful! 💚 You have beautiful hoyas, my dear friend! 🍀🍀

Highligh Hoyas of the month would be awesome! 🎉
Lovely. I guess my wish list just got longer. I did really enjoy these hoyas. And a book would really be nice. In your spare time.

Any type of hoya bloom is great! Just give us all of it!😊
I am getting more and more ok with the blooms I really like the the colorful ones and the dark ones
Loved all the Hoya’s you showcased,I don’t know why I haven’t heard or seen them,I definitely would buy all the ones in this video. Thank you for that! Natalie 🪴🪴❤️
I am not sure why they are not popular either!
Your trellising skill is fantastic, Miro! My Exilis looks like a bunch of grass on my 2 supporting sticks and yours looks like a piece of art 😮💨👍🏽
I am framing this! Someone said my trellising skills are fantastic. Can I have that on a trophey please? :D

I just got a “ Ching” as I call it and also Cutis- Porcelainas. I can’t wait to grow them out and see the blooms.

So delicious looking flowers!
I like how you tell about your "change of hearts" Nice to hear the story of growing each plant.
Miro you made me obsessed with hoya siamica. I absolutely must get my hands on one!
Haha :D Sorry! But she is very pretty IRL, camera doesn't do it justice!

the tshirt is everything.
What about a series of your favorite small leafed, med leafed and large leafed Hoyas. I’m partial to small leafed hanging Hoyas.
I already did some videos like that :) But I can always make updated ones :)
Rindu rafflesia def needs to be pruned to make her push out new leaves. Her flowers are like a delicious custard!
I absolutely love all of those! But there’s a special place in my heart for chinghungensis. But I have been looking for one for 2 years with no luck! I’m so jealous
maybe you can do one hoya highlight video of a month.or what's blooming this months. love your videos.

I would also love to see a video on Hoyas that refuse to bloom. For example, Hoya nicholsoniae NGG. Mine has become a huge, bushy plant but not 1 peduncle.

Cute t-shirt 😅 Stay cool out there!
Hoya Rindu Rafflesia is from Bengkulu, Indonesia. It's in Sumatera island.

Could you deep dive 2 or 3 Hoya per video? And I need your shirt.
Very interesting. I’m wondering if you have a link for the wire supports?
I make them myself from rabbit fence :)

Aahhh I want a chinhungensis soooo bad 🥰
Just got the Changhungensis
I hope she grows well for you :)

update on last months haul please!!!!! sir

I meant I underwatered her many times before I moved her to self-watering pot :) I only recently moved her to self-watering.
How about...
"My Blooming Hoyas!"
For the title of your flowering Hoya updates 😁
🎉
Dang it, Miro--it doesn't look like any of those are remotely common over here in the US. Something to look forward, then....
