I never heard Immigration have authority to check your bank statement or neither to ask the person who departing to travel outside. It’s technically is invasion of privacy or personal information only Embassy of country will have authority to ask some of their requirements if needed.

You can make your travel prep less hassle, parang ang hassle ng ginawa mo Ms Kristine. The BOC cert is not required, you can pre register so that you can upload na your vax cert, yun lang need. another tip for travel, para di na mag exchange ng currency you can withdraw from your bank account abroad , make sure lang na ok yung bank mo. we always use our landbank to withdraw whenever we go to japan, automatic yen na yun (less hassle). Also, you can always use your credit cards if you have one. Konti lang naman difference sa fees compared pag nag pa exchange ka sa banks or money changer. 😉

Thank you for this. Very helpful, but I’d like to comment on what you said about the experience of other Filipinos especially early this year, though. Lots of them had enough documents to show, and lots of them were financially capable, it was just that some IOs took advantage of their authority/positition. When my sister traveled to Korea last March, the IOs still asked lots of unrelated questions, questions they never asked us in my last 10 travels - but I think things changed about a week after that.
If I wasn’t a vlogger, I would still prepare all the documents I had and would have still gone to the airport 8 hours early. I believe me being a vlogger didn’t help. It was tje documents I prepared that helped, and that I came early. 😊

I remember when I went to Paris, dahil under staff ang immigration nila. Nakalusot ako kahit walang visa. Isa lang ang personnel tapos 2 planes na yung nasa pila. Grabe parang pala NG paki alam yung babae na immigration, lahat kami pinapasok lahat. Gabi pa naman yun. Ang problem kasi sa mga airport under staff sila kaya mabagal ang process.

Totoo yun.. madami naman ksi tlga na nde na bumabalik.. yung tipong HK or SG tpos ending andito sa UAE.. then yung iba nde papalarin andun sa embassy pabigat or yung iba pasaway nag TNT na.. kaya di mo din tlga masisisi BI jan.. yun lng dapat maging polite sila sa pag tatanong..
