  • Sharing with you my Philippine Immigration experience as a solo female traveler bound for Japan and what happens if the Immigration Officer endorsed you for a 2nd interview or 2nd inspection.
    I was really confused why the Immigration Officer (IO) put me on hold even though I’m a frequent traveler. Check the video why I was “flagged.”
    I also shared what questions and information they requested when filling up the form.

    Notes:
    -IO was aware that my husband will follow after but didn’t ask for any documents.
    -I had a lengthy interview with the TCEU officer but had to wait a long time to be interviewed.
    -I was a UAE resident for a decade and always go on a vacation in the Philippines with my family. I also visited 6 other countries in Asia and Europe that’s why I considered myself as a frequent traveler.

    Thanks for sharing your experience Dianne. I need to be mentally and emotionally prepared for this since mag-first travel din ako to Japan by next week. Medyo anxious kasi ako when it comes to the interview since first time. Still looking for tips from other travelers.

As much as possible, try na maaga makaclear ng Immig in case mahold ay may extra time pa for 2nd interview. Hope you enjoy Japan!

    To me as non Filipino this is completely ridiculous. Why does traveling have to be so difficult? Aren’t we free people and should go wherever we want to? Why so many questions 😖🫠

    ako kaalis ko lng nun MAY25 2023, un immigration officer isa lng tinanong skin pag ka abot ko ng passport,visa and roundtrip ticket 🎫, ang question nya ay " do you have relatives in Australia? then i replied: none, just to reunite with my partner only. then sabi skin harap sa camera sabay stamp sa passport ko 😊 yun na. please make sure ur complete documents kayo, if tourist and sponsor by partner of family make sure you have PASSPORT, VISA, TICKET,CFO AOS, BANK STATEMENT, TRAVEL INSURANCE, BIRTH CERTIFICATE and COPY OF BIO PAGE NG SPONSOR.
    karamihan ng na offload ay pupunta sa Dubai although may visit visa madami kasing cases na front ang visit or tourist then mag hahanap work let's admit it some are doing that. so if ur going to Dubai make sure ur answer are short and clear with ur purpose.
    mostly ma offload if ur traveling to Thailand, Vietnam, hongkong, Singapore, Malaysia dahil sa case ng human trafficking.
    sana makaalis po lahat ng gustong mag tourist and good luck po❤ have a safe trip.

      Agree! Basta legit ang travel no need to worry. Need lang mahabang pasensya to prove that we are really traveling for tourism lang.

      @@Dianne.

  • @johnp9624
    @johnp9624 Рік тому +5

    Isa sa mga trend na napansin ko diyan sa mga PH IOs is that ayaw nila sa mga ex-OFW na magto-tour sa ibang bansa. Regardless kung frequent traveler ka o hindi, kapag nalaman nila na dati kang OFW, magiiba na yung tingin ng IO sa'yo.

    • @Dianne.LittleAdventures
      @Dianne.LittleAdventures  Рік тому +1

      Parang puro work lang ba dapat kapag OFW at bawal magtour kung ex-OFW. Kaloka sila. 😅 may discrimination na pala dun.

    • @ralen4475
      @ralen4475 Рік тому

      Kasi they will think that you are going to look for a job in the country of your destination if ex OFW ka

  • @litobabas7038
    @litobabas7038 5 місяців тому

    Pag ex OFW po, mahirap talaga makalabas ka ng Philippines lalona kung bigla shift ka ng tourist ang purpose mo, duda talaga ang IO dyan, alam ng IO na kahit hindi mo naisip gagawin na maghahanap ka ng work sa Japan…. Ganun kasi ang mentality ng Pinoy kung saan makakalusot at mapapadali ang pagwork sa ibang bansa gagawin nila… kaya mainit ang IO sa mga ex OFW kasi mas hustler na ang mga yan pagdating sa mga ganyang bagay.

  • @mharicris
    @mharicris Рік тому +2

    From my experience once they find out ex OFW ka dun na meron followup questions. Last year tumaas talaga kilay ko when I was asked about my work history kasi bawal ba mag tourist pag OFW or ex OFW? Hindi pa naman ako na second interview pero they always ask if OFW ba ko and when I say not anymore they continue with any plans? I’ll just say no to stop the conversation. POV, that’s a personal decision and nothing to do with my travels as a tourist, wag naman sila tamang hinala. 😒

    • @Dianne.LittleAdventures
