Thanks for all of your reviews, I haven't owned a Bike in 20 years but it was time to get a family Dad bike and after watching your content and the sales going on at Dicks I bought a pair of these for my wife and I around the same time you did. No regrets and having fun with them. Thanks for all you guys do, keep up the good work.
Take everything off the medium GT and put it on the small, then put the medium frame up on the wall as a memorial to its greatness! Another great video guys!
I started out with the aggressor pro, just as you did, and around the same time. I would watch your videos when you upgraded it to see how you did it, and what you did to it. I upgraded everything on that bike (I have sense sold it) but did get another one last year just because I LOVE the look and ease of upgrading it, Nice to see you back to the roots man! That trail looks amazing!! Thanks for all the content homie! you and pops, love the channel! Respect from NY
I’m 5’6 got a M and it’s perfect also got my wife a S she’s 4’11. We haven’t rode in 20 yrs. until today and it was a fun 3 mile ride to start. Love the bikes!!!
I'm 5"6 too and just got a medium one yesterday, rode it all over today and it feels amazing, I'm so happy with it as I've only ever had cheap walmart bikes. But I've already got a flat :(
Got a 2004 gt aggressor 1 with a bafang 750w bbs02 on it! Thrown round the woods, forgotten in shed for year, now whipping round streets at 30mph. 26x2.6 tyres for comfort and a 27.5 fork adjust the geometry a bit.... Love GT's.... Put the Z2's on it!
Great review! Looks like you were having a good time out there. Cannot wait to see what upgrades you do to this one! You should be able to lighten it up 5-6 lbs I would think! That red color is awesome as well. Have a great weekend, dudes!
You made this video look so fun 😂… I’m looking to get into mountain biking and so this has been what I am thinking about for my budget. It was either this GT or the Mongoose mountain bike at Dicks
Air Fork and 1X conversion would be great initial upgrades. Loved the creativity switching between the old blue and the new orange (or red....whatever they call it) in the beginning of the video. You folks are developing great video editing skills.
Im very new to mtb like so new i haven't even gotten a bike yet, i was looking into the agressor and someone told me it wasn't very upgradeable, how much truth is there to that?
Picked mine up yesterday in a large, I am 6 2. Did some riding around my neighborhood for an hour last night to test it out. Woke up this morning and headed out on 6 mile round trip (haven't ridden in 13 years). Rode to our local bike trail about 2 miles away. Did nothing too extreme. However, it was a very fun, smooth ride. Few little quirks with the 3-by, but not a deal breaker. I can see myself enjoying this very much. Excellent buy at $299
I have one! Love it! You won’t find a more capable bike for 300 bucks. I just bought a Canyon Spectral and of course the Canyon is better but for the price for the Spectral makes me totally respect the GT!
Clearly, frame size, small is the correct size for you. Only if all of the bikes you guys have are small...man, you would totally enjoy even more out of them...
I have a suggestion for you…. With a new bike, when you take it out in stock form I think you should cover the chainstay with plasticine or something. 1 it will protect the paint and 2 you will be able to show exactly how much the chain actually hits it. That paint is stunning, pity to wreck it first time out.
Just got this bike the other day new to mt.biking watched your review on this bike and convinced me to purchase this as my first bike didn’t want to go crazy expensive before I see if it’s for me can’t wait to hit the trails
Dangerous. Boy you dangerous. I just recommended this bike to a co worker last week when i saw the sale. It'll be perfect for him to ride with his daughter.
Ordered a black an teal one last night for my 15 year old son after passing on a Nikishi Pueblo 26inch at dicks for $300. Im going to my local bike shop to have it assembled just to be on the safe side.
I don't know how to adjust these gears and I'm not able to shift so I've kept it on an easy gear and not messing with it. If I try to shift while I'm going slightly uphill I'll screw up my whole ride. I appreciate the bike I got it in a work trade and it's good for getting me back on the road but I wonder what's the lowest price I can get the best bike for any ideas because I was afraid to look at the prices of the bikes at the bike shop. I'm told this is somewhere between Wally World and a thrift store but it is a 2021 it is tall that does fit my frame as the big tires which gives speed which is not my prime concern but it's nice to have speed when you need it but good brakes go along with speed. Are you still riding your bike holler at me.
Beautiful ride guys we went to the metro parks and rode a nice ride on memorial day man the Dogwood was so bad it look like it was snowing But it was still enjoyable
Sentimental? My bike needs a tune-up brakes adjusted picked it up in a work trade but as I build my health back I'm concerned it's not good enough. I see these bikes are from 2021 and we're sold at Dick's sporting goods and most reviews consider them somewhere between Wally World and a thrift store. I think that I would like the bike better if it shifted better but I haven't been able to get out of one or two easy gears and because it doesn't shift well when I'm moving I don't change it out of the easy gear whether I'm uphill or downhill. It looks like I'm getting between 1:00 and 4 MI a day in with a few days off here and there and I'm really wanting a good bike so I'm going to watch the rest of the video here to get some clues.
Great videos! Im currently in the play list watching them all. You went with a 120mm fork on the last build, are you worried at all going up that much from the stock 80mm? Did it feel like you were riding a chopper? Do you know what the stock offset on the fork is? Trying to decide between what 51mm or 42mm on a set of new forks.
Awesome review. I just bought my daughter that bike in a medium. I have one from 19 I think. Not to rush you but can you put a 1x on that bike so I can see how to do it.
Interested to see some upgrades. It is a $300 bike so I’m curious to see how much money you put into it. I feel like some hydraulic brakes and swapping out the front 3x for a 1x would be an awesome start.
You should upgrade this to a similar spec to the old aggressor and then compare the two. Seems like a very capable frame and good fit for you. Looking forward to seeing where this one goes. Take care guys 👍😎🍻
$299 with a sturdy frame & a cassette is a bargain! Some (pretty minor) flaws can be easily forgotten at that price. I'm not sure I agree about it coming with a 1X because with that cassette you'd have to sacrifice either top speed or climbing. You can always go 1X when you upgrade the cassette;)
I just tried and my seatpost on my large GT goes all the way down without cutting seatpost but I also dont have the screws in because I stole them for another project
I’m looking at getting a new bike and I know nothing about mountain bikes. I just came across your channel. Great review on this bike. I’m also 5 foot 5, what would I need in a bike small? I’m not even too sure what that is. Does that means the size of the tires or the size of the frame. Any recommendations on what would be a good entry-level bike for me as a beginner?
I'm looking to lose some weight and get in a little shape. Mostly street initially and not doing any big trails. Sounds like this might be a good bike?
Hey guys. I see you guys have all the GoPros hooked up everywhere. Do you frequently get the dreaded SD ERROR? And lose footage? I’ve about had it with my hero 7 black. Constantly erroring out on me. Thanks
You guys do a lot of budget bike and bike upgrade reviews. What about budget accessories? Sunglasses for bike riders can easily go for over $200. I just picked up a pair of DeWalt tinted safety glasses for 7 bucks. Bicycle knee pads can be $100+. Skateboard knee pads are like $10. Gloves, tool sets, multi-tools, backpacks... you get the idea.
On the medium frame, is there a way for the seat to go all the way down? can those bottle holder nuts be taken off for tge seat tube to go down all the way?
I have the orange '23 GT AP, size M... but mine has the cage bolts on the seat tube; I can't drop the seat all the way down. How'd you get one without cage bolts on the seat tube?!!
Anyone know where the serial number is stamped on these aggressor frames? My second Gt bike and neither are stamped on the bb. GT phone support, website and manual say bb but i sanded one just incase paint filled it, its not there.
Thanks for all of your reviews, I haven't owned a Bike in 20 years but it was time to get a family Dad bike and after watching your content and the sales going on at Dicks I bought a pair of these for my wife and I around the same time you did. Nice! Im Syracuse NY riding GT
i just upgraded to GT Avalanche 29
Looks like a good fit. Can't wait to see what upgrades are in store for it
I’m 5’6 got a M and it’s perfect also got my wife a S she’s 4’11. We haven’t rode in 20 yrs. until today and it was a fun 3 mile ride to start. Love the bikes!!!

only reservation i have with the small is that it fits you so well in stock, a shorter stem might be harder to make work.
Just got the Wet Cement color and I'm definitely getting rid of the 3x and upgrading the forks
12:36 And the gopro doesn't impede the seat. A match made in heaven lol
Put the Z2's on it!

hydraulic brakes are must have
the nostalgia is real!
Just subbed.
I have a GT Aggressor and I won’t “upgrade” even though some people tell me to. I love the frame.
Appreciate the love brother. Hey if it ain't broke!!
"Pro-Tip" if your wife walks in during the slow-mo replay , she might ask "What the heck are you watching ! "😂
😅🤣😂
😂👍

How's the fit? Are you at the top of the "L" size? I'm 6'3 and I am considering the XL.
i went xl@@DaveNay6739
Came here to ask this…6’3” and just picked up the xl but haven’t had time to take it out yet
Just picked one up. First bike!
I have one! Love it! You won’t find a more capable bike for 300 bucks. I just bought a Canyon Spectral and of course the Canyon is better but for the price for the Spectral makes me totally respect the GT!
Great vid as always Tick!! KEEP SHREDDING 😉🚴♂️!!! Thanks again for all you guys do!!
You look great on that bike, Tick!
That is a great frame, and I bet you could get this down to 28 lbs. Can't wait to see the build.
Just bought one and pick it up in a few days 🤙🏼
Clearly, frame size, small is the correct size for you. Only if all of the bikes you guys have are small...man, you would totally enjoy even more out of them...
Ah yes.... Everything comes in full circle! 😊
I have a suggestion for you…. Just turned GT aggressor pro into an E bike. Makes a great one due to the rugged frame. I think it’s better( faster) than the store bought ones.
Info on what you used
Woooow, back to the roots 😢😊
Nice looking bike and fits you well great review good to see you having fun 👍
Just got this bike the other day new to mt.biking watched your review on this bike and convinced me to purchase this as my first bike didn’t want to go crazy expensive before I see if it’s for me can’t wait to hit the trails
10 months later, how's it holding up? You upgraded yet?
I do like that colour, a similar shade to my Revolution Triad, somewhere between red and orange.
Dangerous. Boy you dangerous. I just recommended this bike to a co worker last week when i saw the sale. It'll be perfect for him to ride with his daughter.
Guys what a cool little bike i defo cant wait to see this with upgrades it will be amazing great ride there Tick awesome stuff.
Ordered a black an teal one last night for my 15 year old son after passing on a Nikishi Pueblo 26inch at dicks for $300. Im going to my local bike shop to have it assembled just to be on the safe side.
Yes little buddy, with the way you ride, you should be on a size small!!!!
I hope you get a 29er air fork and try it mullet style before deciding on a 29 in rear. That's my plan.
I finally tested this exact model/ size, and same issue with the gear selection on both side I have to push waaay in just to get a click.
I don't know how to adjust these gears and I'm not able to shift so I've kept it on an easy gear and not messing with it.
If I try to shift while I'm going slightly uphill I'll screw up my whole ride.

you guys are freekin' hilarious!!! BTW... Nostalgia was nice....
Beautiful ride guys we went to the metro parks and rode a nice ride on memorial day man the Dogwood was so bad it look like it was snowing But it was still enjoyable
exact same one i have which i am upgrading the drivetrain with sram groupset 12 speed and rear wheel to a freehub with boost
I just bought this bike for my wife. I hope it lasts. It sure is way better than my last bike *Magma from Kmart when I was 13 years old.
Man that looked fun.
It was a blast!!!
now we need a time trial, see how it compares
Sentimental?

Deja-Vu !! Great video !
Great videos! Im currently in the play list watching them all.

Do you know what the stock offset on the fork is? Trying to decide between what 51mm or 42mm on a set of new forks.
Nice run!! so close to slapping that tree lucky you missed it because it would have stunk to clip that. Needs a chain guard.
Awesome review. I just bought my daughter that bike in a medium. I have one from 19 I think. Not to rush you but can you put a 1x on that bike so I can see how to do it.
definitely a fellow fan of tektro. i am running the orion 4+2 on my fs.
As for the 3x system, when I still had it, I usually stayed in 2. But San Antonio is pretty flat
Why would you prefer a smaller frame size? Your 5-5 matches L frame according to the chart - but it seemed like you prefer a small size?
Interested to see some upgrades. It is a $300 bike so I’m curious to see how much money you put into it. I feel like some hydraulic brakes and swapping out the front 3x for a 1x would be an awesome start.
Swap out the drive for a Acolyte 8 speed and Advent X cassette and shifter. Yes, a 1X iXF 2 piece crank
You should upgrade this to a similar spec to the old aggressor and then compare the two. Seems like a very capable frame and good fit for you.
Looking forward to seeing where this one goes.
Take care guys 👍😎🍻
Im not too happy with the cable disk breaks tho
Dang I’ve been gone for awhile 😞 I love me anything GT though!!! I’ve missed the channel
Seen one at the pawnshop for 200. Might go get it
$299 with a sturdy frame & a cassette is a bargain! Some (pretty minor) flaws can be easily forgotten at that price.

Size of the frame
man the ol GT agressor lol feels like home
I'm looking to lose some weight and get in a little shape. Mostly street initially and not doing any big trails. Sounds like this might be a good bike?
today on wolftick history, we highlight ye olde GT Agressor Pro!
Hey guys. I see you guys have all the GoPros hooked up everywhere. Do you frequently get the dreaded SD ERROR? And lose footage? I’ve about had it with my hero 7 black. Constantly erroring out on me. Thanks

Funny that In the Uk the GT sport has mechanical brakes and the pro has hydraulic brakes.
Bike fit you well!
I ride on trails like the ones in the video do you recommend this bike
On the medium frame, is there a way for the seat to go all the way down? can those bottle holder nuts be taken off for tge seat tube to go down all the way?
I wear the same motocross gloves, mine are red.
Do y’all mind sharing how many bikes you have right now?
I have the orange '23 GT AP, size M... but mine has the cage bolts on the seat tube; I can't drop the seat all the way down. How'd you get one without cage bolts on the seat tube?!!
Great stuff!
What about the GT aggressor Expert guys ?????????
RIP chainstay. Old garden hose segment, old tire tube, or any rubber tube that will fit does the trick.
I have a question, i like to change the chain ring and crank, do i need to change the bottom cartirage as well?
0:10 60 km/h, damn!
Is better that the avalanche 29 in 400$?
Did you get the small just because you're really short? I'm 5'11 and ended up getting a Large because that's what they had, and I got it for 299 haha
🤣🤣 yes! I'm 5'5" and the medium worked, but it seems the small I can throw around. You should be arrested, you STOLE that thing!
I just have a question about my brakes. I have a gt aggressor pro and my front brakes seem to grab extra hard. How can I fix that?
Where is this trail?
Hey guys, I have a GT aggressor proud and I really want to know if I can install pegs on it?
Another one! First to like! LOL
Hi there, I just got an Aggressor Pro XL frame and the handlebars are too low. Can they be raised?
Still thinking the Ozark Trail 29 is worth the $100 more. Love GT's though. Still have my 2000 GT even.
Wheel size?
i just upgraded from GT Aggressor Pro to a GT Avalanche 29
It's a 2023 and no tapered headset?
Awesome ride❤
What fork is on the blue GT?
I’ve been riding the same bike for 5 years now and there is nothing wrong with those shifters.
Anyone know where the serial number is stamped on these aggressor frames? My second Gt bike and neither are stamped on the bb. GT phone support, website and manual say bb but i sanded one just incase paint filled it, its not there.
Awesome man
How easy would it be to make it a 1x?
very
Dang..... All these videos I have watched & my slow ass finally noticed the the ear.
Great video. The cinematography skills are definitely improving as well. Super entertaining!
-Camino Rob
Since GT is also part of Pacific Cycle, along with Mongoose and Schwinn, how different are they really?
GT generally has better parts, frame, upgradability. As far as customer service, that’s what’s the same. :)
😊
Cool!
I'm really surprised you guys weren't in Bentonville... unless you secretly were🤔
