The Thirteen colonies were much more heavily populated than TV he French colonies, thus I am pretty sure they would have rebelled immediately after, in this timeline the United States would have been a close British allie already in the late 18 century, also because Britain could have became a republic.

Realistically the French wouldn't take the thirteen colonies because their population was large but if they did the thirteen colonies would likely rebel Britain may intervene to support the American rebels and America could become kingdom or empire maybe getting a relative and the British royal family to rule as a figurehead

Great video, however I wish you would have gone over The French in Asia much more, Like Opium wars, "Franco" Afghan wars, development and India and Japan as well, and the future of China and Indochina, I feel like you left out very big chunks of this scenario, like what would cause a British revolution, what happens to The Asian nations and what not.

I gotta say, I agree with you. Perhaps I’ll make a second, or more like 1.5, part to this video. There’s definitely a lot more substance that I feel could have been gotten out of this scenario. Something I’m trying to get better at in my newer scenarios.

@@baluumccarron4735 Well, it would depend on the French financial situation. As well as their dependency on Chinese goods. The British were near bankrupt after the American revolution, this made it very expensive and difficult to feed their increasing demand for Chinese tea and other goods. Especially because of Chinas pretty anti foreigner policies. If France was is a similar position, then they may do the same.

The French would have to abandon the homefront and focus solely on their war with Britain to win the 7 years war. Without French aid, the Prussians would defeat the Austrians decisively and, with the ascension of a Pro-Prussian Tsar, Russia would also pull out leaving France to fight a multi front war on their own

Well, yes. That is what happened in our timeline. After losing the battle of Rossbach, the French turned away from Prussia. Who then decisively defeated the Austrians at Leuthen
. In this alternative timeline, the Prussians lose both these battles. Which if this were the case, they would surely surrender years before the ascension of Peter III. Leaving the British alone.

@@theuwutsar Yeah I see your point and I agree, but with a war of this scale it would take a long line of battles and events going differently, and in this particular video I wanted to get into the aftermath. As that's what I was more interested in. But again, I understand wanting more specific changes in an alternative history and I'm sorry I didn't deliver to your satisfaction on that front.

I think whhat iis shocking about tthis Timeline is that USA nor Germany would end of existing. I think that another all -out war globally within A few decades between t the Brits and the French. This is because the Frenc would gain the colonies, but the Brits would still have the Industrial Revolution with the amount of coal and other resources, which they found internally. This would lead to a smaller Industrial Revolution, but a gradual superiority of the British fleet, even though they can fund the size of the fleet that they had before.The French would be slowed down in their technological development, due to having a total monarchy, which would restrict the speed of the industrial emergence in Britain's constituency-based constitutional monarchy.This would lead to Britain's gunboats taking back some of their colonies and the Industrial Revolution have believable rapidly, but then with France the more wealthy and militarily capable in this timeline, I think they would eventually start gaining parity with the gunboats, which would lead to British and French dog globally, of which we cannot possibly imagine, which could last for another millennium.
The only because they would be whether France had a revolution, when the existential threat of the new industrial Britain began to emerge and maybe shellshock, the nation

I disagree about few things:
First: France can't take over and control 13 colonies due to them being too ungoverneable and having too low tax/maintence ratio. Meaning the French would just prevent British colonists to move west and take some islands in Caribean.
Second: Britain would deal with debt from war not by collapsing, but by refoorming like increasing voting rights to more of middle classes and giving 13 colnies their own parlament (which makes tham more willing to be taxed)
