The Sniper Rifle in a nutshell:
High chance of straight up one shotting pawns
Highest armor penetration after charge lance
100% accuracy at masterwork quality from 12 tiles
100% accuracy at legendary quality from 3 tiles
90+% hit chance at maximum range for seasoned shooting specialists
It outclasses any other weapon in the game but only for the finest of your shooters.

I always leaned on Heavy SMGs for my poor shooting skill pawns, at least early to midgame, but I WAS trying to figure out what was best for my high skill backline pawns. Good to know!
Getting that aim time down really changes the meta game!
@@BladjomirGaming I wonder if you micro by swaping out to shorter range more dps weapons as pawns get closer would help and what that would look like

I am just now realizing how smart it is to put the biosculpter pods in their own tiny rooms.
Suppose that someone among us hasn't delved too deep into this aspect of the game, or that this person might even be a little dense. How are you achieving this boost in aim speed?
check out the Aiming stat from the wiki rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Aiming_Time. Also make sure to expand it to see the DPS with heavy bandolier. Trigger Happy is the absolute best trait for this build as only those can reach 1% aim time. Don't get careful shooters but still make sure you reach 30+ accuracy at least when buffed. You get 11 accuracy from the role and buff alone so that should be fairly easy to reach.
You will have almost no armor so limb replacements will be common, but maybe you have seen from my other videos that they can actually take A LOT of punishment before going down. As they mostly have no other skills they also have a very high chance to get inspired shooting or go frenzy so keep them happy!

Where do you get so many shooting specialists? Does the obelisk also copy the pawn's specialty?
there is no cap on specialists other then the leader and priest role so you can make as many as you need

The zombie army tactic is impressive.
Tynan realy one uppped all the mods with psycasts and ideology.

It's the WORST in beeing the BEST
