Who doesn't like quick and easy meals? I'm watching this at breakfast time and already know what the family is having for dinner the next three nights. Thanks Marion.
Marion, this was just what I needed! Love one-pot dinners. I don't know if you have an InstantPot, but I was wondering if you may be able to show us how to make some yummy meals that use an InstantPot. Thank youuuu x
I would like to say Thank you for all your recipes! It's really useful for me specially when I don't have any ideas what to prepare for our dinner. I'm a big fan of your channel! I've done most of your recipes. I love them all! Regards, Cathy from London
Excellent cooking my friend Marion ❤love your recipes and the simplicity ❤so much fun cooking delicious and healthy meals for our families and friends ❤
I bought the Panasonic rice cooker like yours and made the same recipe as you. Yum yum and so easy, thank you for sharing about this machine. I hope you will have future recipes to share using this rice cooker for preparing a complete meal. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
That 3rd chicken dish is kind of like Filipino adobo we grew up with w/o the star anise, cinnamon, and cloves - oh and we put potatoes rather than tofu, then a dash of vinegar towards the end. Thanks for these ideas Marion!
These recipes look lush. Defo trying jammy chicken on top of rice tray bake. What veg could go in with the rice and chicken though? Carrots? Bamboo shoots? I wish more one pot recipes had meat, carbs AND veg in one pot. Often they forget the veg. For a weeknight meal I'd still need to dirty more dishes to cook a veg or salad to go with it side.
I loved these recipes from a while back and I also forgot about these… they are on my to cook list. Love it thank you for all your work and your recipes 🌸💜🧡 I would love to see some one pot noodle dishes too 😁😝
I tried making the chili jam chicken tonight and I covered it and let it sit for 50 minutes in the oven and when I took it out the rice wasn't cooked yet and the broth was still sitting on top. Idk what I did wrong, I followed the instructions perfectly. I'm wondering if I cooked it in too small of a pan. I also cooked it in a glass dish. All these recipes look amazing though, hopefully my chicken still turns out!
I have made Hainanese Chicken in an Instant Pot. Very easy. Probably similar to cooking in the rice cooker. It is amazing how much flavour this dish has even though visually it looks bland.
I was looking in the comments for someone who made it in the InstantPot. I have one too and I was wondering how it would come out!! How long/which setting did you make yours?
Is it possible to do this in an instant pot? Maybe using the slow cooker mode? I hate making rice on the stove top bc it’s just not consistent. Every time you open the lid to check on it, you’re letting out precious steam. But if you compensate for that by adding more water at the start, you risk getting mushy rice.
Hi Marion, Love your recipes. But I was wondering if I don't have the fancy rice cooker but same brand, can I just put it under the white rice option as I don't have the claypot option? Please do let me know. Would love to try it out. Thank you in advance!
Panasonic rice cooker model number is CN188WST as shown around timestamp 5:04. I searched for it on Amazon and closest I found was the SRJMY188 at $247.67 USD. Yikes!
These are great dishes! You taught me how to turn up the heat and shorten the cooking time to make fabulous chicken and I'm still hung up on that. Unbelievably delicious! These are good sometimes though. I love the way you draw the knife through the legs and thighs to get the marinade into the meat. You are certainly a goddess in the kitchen and you do make me look like I know what I'm doing! You also made a really great steamed chicken that made its own sauce and turned out to be deliciously slurpy and amazingly fall-off-the-bone tender. All great dishes and certainly not run of the mill dry, overcooked ho-hum chicken Thanks, Marion! You put chicken back on table!
Can I ask how and how long you would cook the rice dish for if you didn't have a rice cooker?I used to have one but don't anymore, and our new kitchen is TINY and my partner doesn't want to buy another rice cooker... :/
Here's the link to find more details about our rice cooker model 😊 www.panasonic.com/au/consumer/household/kitchen-appliances/rice-cookers/sr-cn188wst.html? We hope this helps! -Team Marion's Kitchen
Oh God Marion please help!!!! 😬😭I love your recipes but I am newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I want to make your dishes but can't do rice and noodles anymore. Can you suggest another carb-like imposter base to the dishes other than cauliflower rice? Unless I am doing something wrong, cauliflower rice is desperately bland. Hey...maybe this could be an idea for a video. Us diabetics deserve to eat well too 😋
My husband: Hey babe that looks great! You should totally try that! What do you think? Me: Wow! She's so brave!! Bravo Marion!! Husband: 🤨?? Me: My girl just made _Soy Sauce Chicken_ in a *white shirt!!* 👏👏👏❤ Boss
Never open the lid on a rice dish?.it staps the cooking process and the cooking temp starts all over again? That's what I was always told🤔 We call it paralizing the rice...
You perfectly mastered "Biriyani" so next time when you prepare this dish you have to wear " SARI" to add the typical taste of Biriyani.God Bless and thank you.
Camera work is not ideal, when Marion is putting ingredients into the pots, film the pots not Marion’s face. When she’s showing the finished dish film the food from a good distance not just zoom in and rest of the time on Marion’s face. Just a tip for improving the camera work.
Who doesn't like quick and easy meals?
I'm watching this at breakfast time and already know what the family is having for dinner the next three nights.
Thanks Marion.
You should segment these videos into sections so the recipes are easy to jump to.
Who jumps segments of Marion's videos? 😯
@@tibbs4000 when we are actually making the recipe? Ain't nobody got time to make all of these in one night
Separate detailed recipe for each dish is in the link to her blog under the description, go to “… more” next to the view count.
You cannot be so demanding for something you get for free.
@@themiddlepath8685 Agreed....unless they suggest more politely. Instead of "you should..."

I love your channel and your recipes, but I was wondering if you could do recipes using the instant pot that I love using...thanks
Do you think you could substitute a slow cooker instead of the rice cooker for the first 2 recipes?
Can't wait to try these out!!
Wow yum! Thank you for sharing your recipes and methods, Marion!
Okay, this is what we need after a heavy cooking season for many (December holidays)!

chicken thighs are where it's at: i've been using them nearly exclusively since the late 90's. now you've made me want to get a rice cooker!
Man, these look so good. Thanks, Marion.
very helpful - - Thank you so much❣️
Have you tried pork pieces as well? They all looked yummy. I love watching you cooked.
Soooo happy I found your channel after coming back from Bangkok and missing the food there. Thank you ❤

Can you cook these in a regular rice cooker?
Can I know how long I need to cook the rice and chicken if I’m using a normal rice cooker? 😊
these recipes look yum!
Mama Noi's pop in was the best. When is she doing new segments?
Look delicious and yummy

you’re chicken soy is like CHINESE ADOBO that my AHMAH (grandmother) used to make🤤🤤🤤 but i loved for a pork much better for me i guess hehehe
But crispy, slightly burnt rice at the bottom is the ge: of claypot rice!
Marion, you haven’t washed the rice for the Hainanese chicken. What’s behind that? 😊
Food delicious🍝🥘🍳🍲🥗🍛
Yummy
How?
With Hanian rice what kind of mode you do in that rice cooker?
Im looking for the answer to this too..
Amazing 🖤
Are there recipe quantities anywhere?
Hello Marion
Can I take a photo of the Maillard reaction? 🤣🤣
Chicken and the rice cooker
is it possible to skip the sugar in the dough?
Maybe the rice cooker heard you say you liked the crusty bits on the bottom. Perhaps the fuzzy logic kicked in.
Are YOURS going with THE AIR FRYER OR INSTA POT ❓💁🏻♀️
What's the model of this rice cooker?

Try brown rice
@@MariaWilczewski I cannot abide brown rice 😫 😅
How on earth do you cook in white clothes and not get splatter?! Love the one pot dinners thank you.
Looks delicious but the chicken was not salted?
Soy sauce is salty. Can add as needed.
My husband: Hey babe that looks great! You should totally try that! What do you think?
Me: Wow! She's so brave!! Bravo Marion!!

Yesss I'm early 🙌😁
Hainese chicken rice is so bland, it's just basically boiled chicken
@WhitneyWhitee 🤣😂

Commercials every 4 minutes? Sheesh a bit excessive
Nay, not my kind of food. Too bland & dry.
Chicken cooked in a literal pool of soy sauce is bland and dry? Explain...
PUT THE VIDEO IN CHAPTERS LOVE!!!!!
