I could live on soup. So glad I found this old video. I have all the ingredients for all of these options so I look forward to picking one of your recipes to make for dinner tomorrow when I get home late, tired from work. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! 😋🥣🍜
@@JapaneseCookingChannel I made your Japanese tomato soup for dinner today-- a great way to use up a can of tuna I'd forgotten I had. It was delicious by the way. 😋
Well, this was a very good video presentation. You added the recipe to your description, and your examples were very easy to follow. I hope in the future you continue this practice.
They all look excellent and I understand the tastes. Will make the stuffed cabbage one this week, minimalistic with minced pork and just a little chopped onion inside and mild soy and bullion to make the cabbage taste shine. Here in Romania fermented cabbage is very popular, will try it with this too plus bors, wheat bran. A sarmale ciorba with Japanese tastes mixed in.
Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful recipes !! Looks sooo yummy 🤤 !! Bon Appetit 😋 !! Greetings from California … I wish you and folks good health, success and happiness !! Much Love ✌️😎💕
@@JapaneseCookingChannel thank you very much 🙏☺️ looking forward to cooking it and enjoying these beautiful recipes !! I wish you and folks a wonderful time !! ✌️😎💕
potators, tomators)))) your accent is cute😆I would love to hear u say delicious, vegetables once in a while) Nice recipes btw. Miso and milk do go well together. I add it in cream pastas, it's really good.
I love your channel so much Sayaka thank you! I’m in the States and am obsessed with homemade miso soup- I make a big pot in the beginning of the week and eat it for breakfast and take it to work for lunch. I am praying that I never get tired of it, but your videos help to mix things up so that doesn’t happen! I have a question for you ♡♥︎: My favorite way to eat miso soup is with sriracha and rice. I love vinegar and the sriracha is nice but I’d like more twang. Is there anything you could recommend for me? Should I try out rice wine vinegar first? Anything to up the vinegar taste would be appreciated ♡♥︎ you are the best ever!
Thank you so much for watching and your warm comment! 😊💕 About the vinegar you ask... I think you can add a little rice vinegar to the miso soup. We don't usually add it to the miso soup, but since you love vinegar taste, it should be good taste for you! Rice vinegar is the most popular sour seasoning in Japanese cuisine, so give it a try!
This looks yummy, I have lots of "wrappers" in my freezer. Most of the other ingredients are easily accessible. This was fascinating to me since "stuffed cabbage" in North America usually involves minced meat and rice rolled in the cabbage.
Thank you so much for watching my video! I hope you enjoy the gyoza soup! :D And, I've never known that rice is also stuffed in the cabbage in North America. I should try that some time!
These soups look thoroughly delicious! I have a question about using sugar - I try not to add sugar to my savory foods. I know there are some Japanese foods whose ingredients may require sugar, like tamago, but can you say more about which of these soups (and other Japanese foods) where sugar is either essential or optional?
@@JapaneseCookingChannel I thank you so much, I really was not sure whether sugar was an essential ingredient and I love to eat unagi without the usual sauce and seek as many dishes as I can that do not include sugar in them. I don't usually order tamago nor seaweed salad (as much as I love it) due to the sugar I wish were not there. More reason to learn to make Japanese food to my own taste - I absolutely love Japanese food!
Kind of funny how Japanese put tuna in tomato soup. In America, we would never put tuna in tomato soup. Neither way is right or wrong, I am just amazed at the different tastes in the separate cultures. Would I try tuna tomato soup? I would try just about anything, someone else made, as I am tired of coming up with new interesting dishes.
it's because Americans doesn't have many spices or they don't want to try a proper recipes with spices (ex. they always make fun of cooking brocoli/spinach, while in other country, they make a delicious meal with either brocoli or spinach).

You can make them all without sugar if you like 😊 Even tamago (rolled omelet), you can remove sugar. Please enjoy in your favorite way!
