I like how you explained the different between this love and a regular shoulder roll. The tip of kicking feet to bum and feet are landing last vs first with a shoulder roll really made it click for me. Thank you!
Excellent video . I really enjoyed the warm-up session , which is really important before you start flopping around on the floor like that. This is one that I'm trying to perfect, the first time I did it I hit my knees so hard on that floor😂😂
😥 I should have watched this video before injuring myself. Now I understand why I get hurt when I fall hard. I need to use my hands for support and do more cambré. Thank you!
Feel free to send me a video and I can provide feedback! Otherwise, I’d say wear some thicker clothing until you get really comfortable with the movement. I agree with you, it can be painful! Another tip would be to extend the feet higher to the ceiling, this will make your roll down lighter :)
Yes I feel you! We did fish flops in class a week ago, and my shoulder was completely scraped open to the point where it was bleeding, and it still hasn’t healed :/
