    It's easy to gain fat when you eat foods that are greasy, high in sugar, or loaded with empty calories. On the other hand, it's hard to not lose fat if you use certain foods that are very filling, high in protein, and low in calories. These foods will naturally reduce hunger, they'll help you burn fat, and they'll open up plenty of space in your diet for cheat meals.
    And for the first food that's almost impossible to gain fat from we have eggs. And the reason why I say "almost" impossible is because if you eat too much of almost any food you can of course gain body fat. But eggs and other foods that I'm going to go over are very difficult, to overeat. This is because eggs are very high in protein. And the protein from eggs is not only very filling but digesting protein ramps up your metabolism thanks to something known as the thermic effect of foods. So you don't fully absorb all the calories from the eggs because a large portion is burnt off during the digestion process. So regular eggs, even if you eat them with the yolks are very unlikely to lead to fat gain. Of course, if you make an omelet and add whole milk with some sugar and some cheese then it's a completely different story, but eggs themselves are one of the greatest protein sources that you can use to fill your stomach, build muscle, and burn fat without much effort.
    Another great food wild-caught salmon. And it's important that you're specifically looking for wild-caught rather than farm-raised. This is because farm-raised salmon contains significantly more fat than wild-caught salmon. And this fat is made up of a higher ratio of omega 6's which most people already get too much of in theirs. When looking at wild-caught salmon and farm-raised salmon side by side you can immediately tell the difference in the number of calories and fat. The farm-raised salmon will have much thicker white lines which are actually streaks of fat. So wild-caught salmon is great because it's high in protein, very filling, and it has half the fat content that farm-raised salmon does.
    Next, we have celery. Celery is one of the lowest-calorie foods out there as it's made up of 95 percent water. It's going to be almost impossible to eat enough celery to add any sort of major impact to your daily calorie totals. Celery is very filling, it's packed with nutrients like potassium, calcium, and many antioxidants. it also can be eaten with low-calorie dips like salsa.
    Which is actually the next food on our list. Obviously adding flavor to your meals is important especially if you want to enjoy what you're eating. And salsa is one of the lowest-calorie dips available. For example, if we look at a regular-sized container of Tostitos chunky salsa, we see that there's only a total of 130 calories in the whole thing. And chances are very high if you're dipping a filling vegetable like celery or peppers into the salsa, you're not even going to eat close to half the bottle. So that makes salsa one of the best dips for fat loss
    The only dip or sauce that's much better is hot sauce. Hot sauce basically contains no calories at all. It even says 0 calories right on the label. And if you like hot sauce it goes great with high protein foods like chicken, tuna, and eggs. And actually hot sauce can go good with foods like celery as well. On top of that capsaicin, is the active ingredient found in the chilies that end up creating the hot sauce. The great thing about capsaicin is that it can slightly speed up your metabolism, helping you burn calories even faster.
    Next, we have one of the lowest-calorie vegetables spinach. One cup of spinach contains only seven calories. Out of those calories, a good amount of them come from insoluble fiber. Which will help fill you up for virtually no calories. Spinach also provides you with important nutrients like calcium magnesium potassium and vitamin A. That's why if you enjoy eating salads I recommend replacing the lettuce with spinach since the spinach contains significantly more nutrients than the lettuce. Also since spinach is so low in calories it can be used to make a very filling smoothie that should be made up mostly of spinach in combination with a small amount of fruit and Stevia for taste
    Another food that's very likely to lead to weight loss is soup. The reason for this is that soup is very filling most likely because it's made up of at least 90% water. Of course, there are different soups with different calorie counts however if the majority of your soup is made up of healthy vegetables and protein then you'll be in great shape...

    I heard that sustainable weight loss isn’t about not eating, it’s about what you’re adding to your everyday diet. You can have the cookie, but make sure to eat and drink veggies/fruit/water prior to having the cookie- something to fill you so you don’t binge the whole cookie package. Moderation really is key. I’m learning this to be true….

      It's all about portion size, quality of meats, what food(s) you regularly eat and of course combining exercise too
      I'm just barely into my exercising and slowly throwing out all my junk food and Coca Cola then instead drinking tea, lemon water, and eating healthier sides and snacks, cuz I already eat lean and healthy meats since I love to bbq

      It's just calories. Most people can't sustain their weight loss regimen because they think they have to eat bland low calorie food. I've seen it a bunch of times. You just have to play around with food and see what you like. At the end of the day losing weight is just calories in vs calories out at a high level. People aiming to lose weight should not be so restrictive of their diet. It's really only necessary for Bodybuilders who are trying to burn as much fat as possible and they are already in the 1% of the 1% of people who have single digit body fat.

    It's awesome that you mentioned spices. If you're looking for spice blends, I use McCormick & Webber ones almost every time I cook, so I'll recommend some: If you like spicy like me, a favorite of mine is Webber's Kick'n Chicken. It's awesome for chicken (obviously) and eggs. I even use it on fish and in some veggies! Their Chicago Steak seasoning is awesome in lean ground beef! Two of my favorites from McCormick that are great with chicken or eggs are their Motreal Chicken & Bacon Chipotle. Mrs. Dash's Table Blend is awesome with eggs & veggies too! Just watch out for ingredients you could be allergic to.

      Great suggestions on those seasoning mixes, but I HAVE to take this opportunity to mention my personal fav... Tony Cachere's Creole Seasoning. I put that stuff on EVERYTHING, pretty much all the stuff I used to put salt & pepper on. And they do make a low sodium version as well, so that's not a bad option. But either way, it's still less sodium (for me) than what I'd be getting in an equal amount of salt... and waaay more flavor.

    Don't forget, it's not specific foods! It's how many calories you eat. Eat below your caloric maintenance level and you'll lose weight. Eat above it and you'll gain weight. And there's no way to target specific areas of fat, you just have to lose it all. You can eat McDonalds every day and lose weight, but you won't get proper nutrients, and that's why you should eat natural healthy foods.
    If you hit a plateau in your fat loss, start zig-zagging your caloric intake, google that to find out more. There are no secrets, it probably just seems to simple to be true. Just eat less calories, and stay nourished

I would still prepare my own food if you have the time because you’ll know exactly what’s going in it. Not sure if you just were trying to point that but the rest is pretty factual.

      @chad5577 2 роки тому +4

      @Jay Johnson There is a lot more to it than that. McDonalds uses a canola blend oil to fry their foods at a very high heat, creating advanced glycation endproducts in foods linked with cancer. That’s just one out of 5 or so other reasons i can explain.

    • @SilvaDreams
      @SilvaDreams 2 роки тому +10

      @@chad5577 I don't think you know what you are talking about.. Glycation is when a sugar bonds with a protein or lipid which happens naturally within our own bodies and how it moves sugars through our blood. What you might be thinking of.. MAYBE is polymerization but they don't have the oil NEARLY high enough to do that which is around 500-800*F and at max the frying oil is only 375*F.

    One thing he fails to mention while recommending all these "filling" foods that contain mostly water is, excess water generally passes through you and you pish it out in about 20 minutes, leaving only whatever volume of the food left in your stomach, which if the food is 95% water, only 5% "anything else" is left, so you'll be hungry again half an hour or so later.

    • @SilvaDreams
      @SilvaDreams 2 роки тому

      Bit off there it's not eating more veggies of some kind that reduces "bad" cholesterol (There actually is no such thing really) it's that you are no longer eating too much of it since our bodies don't actually stop absorbing at any one point which is why you can actually intake lethal amounts of vitamins as well (Or why you can literally drown from drinking too much water and thinning your blood to the point to suffocate... That is very, very hard but it has happened a few times due to oddities like a mental illness)
      Also too much fiber is bad for you as it will cause constipation and cause gas as there are two types of fiber. Soluble and non-soluble, the non-soluble is like the tough fibers in broccoli and celery that makes those strings, that doesn't readily break down in your gut for a long time and can just sit there rotting for a while while.

Basically cutting grains, wheats, added sugars and processed foods from your diet will go a long way to healthy living. I lost 70 lbs in about a year making the switch to Paleo. I then started cheating and gained a bunch back. Now I'm back on it and better off. A favorite meal of mine is tuna and hard boiled egg mixed with avocado based mayo, mustard and spices of choice. Fruit is what we should only be eating at the most. Its not the same as saturated man made sugar. Alkaline diet is the only real diet humans should live by. MEAT - DAIRY - WHEAT is a NO at all cost. Thank me later. IF YOU ACTUALLY LISTEN!
