- NOTE: I DON'T MAKE MODS. I DO THE GAMEPLAY AND TRY TO TIE THE SCENES TOGETHER. I had a lot of difficulties thinking of how to transition into the battle as well as her armor form. Kingdom Hearts 3 modding hasn't come far enough yet where we can make an actual armored Xion boss fight so I made it a scene that ties into her dm instead. I'm not sure how much the scenes fit but it's the best I can think of. I wanted to use the spell overhaul as well for something a little fresh.

@@tsyumamatsuthehavenofguard32 Actually, in the ending cutscene of the fight, it kind of looks like her legs turn to ice. I feel that makes more sense honestly than connected with ice cream.

Ngl that taught me to roll in those moments when I freeze. I use guard too much thinking it will deflect EVERYTHING, only when a single roll would do the job just fine!

god, the transition from the desperation move cutscene to the gameplay was so good that i didnt even notice that it went from a cutscene to gameplay. like, it felt so natural
Fantastic as always! Something I really like about KH3 mods is how you can not only customize movesets but attach different particle effects as well. I like that KK has the finisher from light form, or that in light form the finisher is from Xion’s light pillar.
And it SUCKS we don’t have a days remake or something :/ this will do though. Also really liked how you used Sasuke’s version of Vector to the Heavens but changed it when the DM phase happened. Such a cinematic fight.
And like someone else said, it must be a spectacle to like in Twilight Town. Two robed figures in the sky fighting at light speed and spamming godly magic at each other…

"who else will I have ice cream with." that one sentence utterly destroyed me when I first saw it on the DS I cried for hours... You have no idea what your mind goes through when you hear those words. That can be so relatable in real life.
Truly the one sentence that stuck with me throughout the years.
This fight always gets me. Because Xion is fighting for something she doesn't totally understand but if she doesn't, she disappears. All the Blizzards kept reminding me of the conclusion to that fight and I could barely watch this without tearing up

thanks for breathing new life into one of the most emotionally heightening struggles in the entire franchise. you wonderfully tied everything together!
Like I first knew this game from the HD cinematics then found out about the ds game and played through the whole game with 100% clear and seeing this mod I just hope they make a remake for the entire game because this game is absolutely beautiful and so far it's my favorite in the series so yeah. Epic fight and ofc amazing cutscenes (yup I cried on xion's death again).
So many people gave her grief and despise. Me… I loved her. Even if she didn’t exist, or is merely a puppet. She’s got a soul worth cherishing.

Honestly the best Kingdom hearts moment I my opinion. The boss fight was so hard to not feel something else
The action in this battle is so intense that even the cameraman was confused whether Roxas or Xion is the MC.
I mean the title of the game is referring to both of them so that’s not entirely wrong. It being pronounced “3-5-8 Days Over 2” because it’s 358 days over 2 people’s lives.
Now I'm bawling and holding my cat who is also named xion😭

The vid and mods are great. I've been watching 2:04 to 4:10 repeatedly. The fight synced really well with the song beats. Like...
- 2:28 - Roxas's warp strike counterattack with the start of the guitar
- 2:37 - both the song and fight kick up a notch
- 2:57 - Roxas's warp strike counterattack with the start of the piano
- 3:15 - new song section with Xion's regular armor phase
- 3:26 - the piano melody coming back with Roxas's shotlock

Fun fact for yall; Xion's theme, Vector to the Heavens, can be also read another way. Vector implies a director, and Sora's name means 'Sky'

@@quoy4 Yep! I made Roxas Expanded, thank you for using it! Don't feel pressured about the Yozora's Weapons stuff, lol. Although when do want to use the updated version I highly recommend grabbing the latest version of the overall mod, because I tried to cover all the details I could,, even down to the Formchange UI and ability names! Just keep doin' what you're doin'! Also, if you want some faster keyblade switching you should check out the Improved Movement mod, and the Turbo Mode mod!
@@dOgExTylom Gotcha! I completely forgot about the improved movement mod. Does it actually allow me to take out the cooldown when I'm normally weapon switching? If so I kinda screwed up for my next video since I'm weapon switching a little slowly. XD In the video after that though, I'll use the mod.
@@quoy4 Yup! It almost completely removes the cooldown and you can even set the value to what you want! (It's called Weapon Switch Override and I personally set mine to 0.001)

Hey man! This video is great! I've made videos in a similar style to this before and I know it can be very tricky to blend things together right, but you absolutely nailed it here! I love how you tied in the desperation moves into cutscenes as well! I almost made a video of this same battle one time but I couldn't ever figure it out.
