I had to admit that I was very ignorant of how the Mormon religion handles and sees homosexuality. I think most people like me see them as one according to movies and documentaries so hearing you, Jess and Alex made me realize that it is not like that. That is like any religion and what really makes the difference is how each individual in the congregation sees it with open hearts and without judgment. Thank you, Jess and Alex, for sharing this part of your lives with more details with us! You guys are really an inspiration and I hope others will learn by seeing this video. That we are on this earth not to judge but to live out life and that everyone deserves a second chance because they may surprise us. Love you guys!! Btw Please, don't worry about the light in the car. Your message got through and that is what is important. Love you guys!!💖💖💖
It's awesome that your families are the way they are to all three of you . Good on them , but give credit to you three as you are such an awesome throuple , paving the way . Makes my heart proud of all you and your families , not every one is as lucky .
My father was an Episcopal minister, and I came out in High school , so I really get what you are saying. The people of the congregation can make or break the church as a whole. Those that reach out and try to learn, are what moves the church and whole world forward ! It's up to the good Lord what happens to us in the end, but we are here to live our best life while on this earth, even if we don't agree on things, a hug does wonders !
I am a life long Episcopalian , I never heard anything anti gay in church, never. We even have a gay group, they are participating in our city's pride Saturday. I feel our denomination is one of the most welcoming and inclusive for the community in the US.
It was a great original video too. Watching Jess' family to be so warm and welcoming to you guys. Zak curls and face said it all with the heat 🔥. Also great Jess went to see his parents off and Alex and Zak supported him. 💪 💪
This is such a wholesome video! You are all three such good people and I love how humble and loving you are to each other and everyone else! Great role models for our community
I appreciate your reposting this portion of your return to San Diego and the discussion of your families and their views on religion and gay acceptance. You’re lucky that you have the families that you do. ❤
As a fellow Mormon I love your story and your message I have a brother in law who is gay and still go to church still but we all support him and I love your family and everything.
Thank you for this. I am a member of the church since 2011 when my Dad died. He passed in January, I was baptized in February. Having lost my Mom in 2006, my brother in 2008 and my Dad in 2011.. my heart and my soul HURT. With the people of the church, visiting with the Missionaries and other families in the church- I was brought to peace and my soul was finally at rest. (Cliche, I know, but how else do I describe?) It pains me to see celebrities and quasi celebrities bashing my church for content. Archuleta, et al… seem to be using their platforms to make a mockery of what I hold as true and dear. Again- thank you for this video. My church- isn’t bad.
This is the vlog from last week in Phoenix. Anyway, I love how you guys are very open-minded and treat religion with respect & not judging others from different backgrounds. I can feel the love & support from your families guys & so happy for all of you. Spread the love all over the world & it will shower back at you. Thanks Jess, Alex & Zac. Love you guys! Happy Pride! 😎🙏💖🏳🌈
Thanks so much! - yes, we decided to just share the speaking part as its own video - the message and experience with our families is so important to us!
Y'all seem like a delightful family. Love from a religious Jewish mama in California. 🙏❤🏳🌈🏳⚧🟦 *After checking out your page/channel/whatever UA-cam calls it, I see we're all in San Diego! Cool!
Kudos to you gentlemen for going to the service and for the support your parents gave you .I wouldn't have gone having grown up as a member of the AUB{Apostolic United Brethren} as it would have been too traumatic and triggering for me as a gay man as my past church has shunned me for my sexuality.
I can imagine that would be very hard for you to do with the history of rejection! We have mostly shied away from church services as well, apart from special family circumstances... It does bring out some nerves for us with possibly bringing back old emotions and feelings of negativity and rejection from our pasts.
Ok but do you guys have an onlyfans???? Together or separate??? I don’t see any Instagram links or OF links or anything posted anywhere on the channel page here… help us out! 🥵
Great you are supported (as you should be for being who you are and what makes you happy). Mum's family were Catholic Irish. Dad was high Anglican so i grew up with high mass, plus bells and smells. Thankfully I was always supported by them. I did spend many years trying to sort out what I thought. After much work and even doing some theology/religious studies, I ended up having zero belief in any God. Having said that - anyone's belief system is fine until such time as it imposes on someone else through regulation or proselytism.
That is so fantastic to hear that you were supported all along by your religious family members! We feel much the same as you - that differing belief systems dont bother us until people try to impose it on others and force people to follow their beliefs.
were the two mormon boys here a couple before inviting the third one in the relationship? I am an ex mormon gay man from California living in Brazil. I am amazed that your dad would mention the throuple relationship in a sacrament meeting talk. But mormonism has a plural marriage history with women. so maybe three men together would not be so foreign in their minds
yes, Alex and I (Jess) come from mormon families and we have been together for 10 years now. Zac has been dating us for about 1 year. Families have always been very kind to friends and partners.

Love the comment about "Band Width"....now as a senior adult....pretty tired of all the letters....just live and go forward !!
Be accepting of all Always remember there are so many who do not have the support and acceptance. Let us all be kind to one another
Such a great statement! We are so fortunate to have supportive, loving, kind - families... we know many others do not and suffer greatly from it.

This video seems a little dark, maybe in more ways than one.
Care to explain?
The literal dark was acknowledged due to running out of daylight 🙂 can’t have bright lights while we drive.

@@kevingave748 not sure how it’s “dark” that we were treated well by family and friends at a church service. Seems like positive progress to us 🤷♂️
