OK, just watched this...Zac, do you get curls in the heat! Cute, cute! Alex, thanks for the reminder to be kind to others, despite differences. This is a good reminder even for members of "our community" that can be less than kind with each other. Spread the rainbow glitter like Alex suggests! Peace and Love...
You three literally have me in tears. Mormons or Catholics for all the same. I happen to adore you guys and you’ve got the hearts that many people wish they had. Peace. Love and happiness forever.
so Glad you enjoyed it! we felt it was important to share a glimpse into our private extended family life and how it is possible to have good relationships with them despite differing religious beliefs!
DOWN TOWN PHOENIX USED TO BE TRASHY. I MOVED FROM SAN DIEGO IN 1998 AND TODAY DOWN TOWN IS GLORIOUS! SHOCKING CHANGES FROM WHEN I FIRST MOVED HERE! LOVE IT! AZ WAS THE BEST THING MOVING HERE FOR ME! AFFORDABLE AND STUNNING IN ALL DIRECTIONS! GET OVER THE HEAT IN THE SUMMER! ITS NOT THAT BAD ONCE YOU LIVE HERE. YOU LEARN HOW TO NAVIGATE IT LIKE ANYTHING ELSE. ITS A DRY HEAT!
What a wonderful conversation on the way back to San Diego guys it gives a good perspective for what a lot of people have gone through or about to go through thanks
Great video guys glad you enjoyed your trip. Really enjoyed the last 15 mins or so of the video, great insight to what people go through really enjoyed it well done guys. Take care❤
What a wonderful conversation on the drive home. You all, and your families, are a great example of what is so joyous about Pride Month, and every month. Thank you for sharing.
So happy you enjoyed it, debated if we should post just the drive home convo as its own video post so its more easily viewed! was an incredible pride month moment for us that we will always cherish and remember.
After the amazing Arizona day with the family, I didn't expect you guys will make a healthy conversation. I love this kind of talk where everyone can relate, understand & help each other despite differences of backgrounds. Its really healthy & helpful for the mind & spirit. Thanks Jess, Alex & Zac for this wonderful talk! Love you guys! Happy Pride month! 😎💖🏳🌈🏳🌈🏳🌈
Pretty new to The Pineapples, but I was recently browsing, and I felt like your story worked for me. You're all very chill people. It feels good. The way you talk a lot about everything is really engaging. Also, the videos are great! The content has helped me a lot, and I'm following all of you on a fitness level too. Please keep this beautiful channel going!
Ok boys, first of all what a great vlog, Phoenix is a lot more beautiful than I thought, was great to see the sights, Zac’s facial expressions on the heat situation were hilarious…Alex I am so totally with you on the public pool thing, you and I both know that someone has peed in the pool because they didn’t want to get out to use the restroom…lol I thoroughly enjoyed the talk on the drive back, I could have conversations with you three all night long. Zac, because you are either in a cap or your hair is smoothed back I did not realize how curly your hair is and babe, you can really rock those curls. You should let those curls run free every now and again..🔥 Lastly, the fact that you are Jeep boys is awesome, I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee L, the interiors were almost identical. Wishing you all a very happy pride and have fun at Disneyland..🌈❤🌈
One of your best videos yet guys! Thank you for sharing such a personal view of your lives and your relationships with your families. Wonderful messages, especially for pride month 🏳️🌈💖
Poor Zach, hate to tell you but that's just a mild day compared to where I lived, every day in Summer sitting around 110, now that's hot!! The road trip looked like so much fun!! Much love to you all!!❤
haha, yes - i think he was so shocked becuase it did not cool down much despite the sun being down! It only got worse the next day during the full daytime heat! fortunately we had a lot of pool time and air conditioning to keep us all cool!
its so nice that Jess and his family are open to learning from each other. I have had a very traumatic relationship w/ religion but I also know what it brings to some people's lives that need it so I'd never make anyone feel bad for their religion. the car conversation was so touching and I always tell people who are struggling w/ unaccepting family members that it took you how many years to come to terms with yourself internally... it's going to take those who know you a some time as well and we need to give grace to them to come around.
In spite of the heat, this is a very cool vlog, and I'm so grateful that you three and your family, Jess, can have a very beautiful relationship. As you all have indicated, that is not the case for everyone. It is, however, families like yours who set the example for others, as well as you three individually and together. These are the relatively small steps that change society. Thank you!
very well said - that is what we believe... it is through love within our own families and circles, not fighting and anger, that hearts, families, and communities are changed! We know much has changed for the better for the LGBTQ community - and we hope and work toward continued positive change for those coming up behind us!
Love your videos and wanted to say that you guys are so fortunate to have such accepting families. My only sister would not speak to me for years but now has changed and my only two nephews have totally shut me out of their lives. They are my oldest brothers sons and he recently passed away and at the funeral, the boys and their families turned their backs on me and would not speak to me at all. I am 69 and have paved my own way in life and I guess if my family can be so negative, I have accepted that. This is my life and I am gay and damn proud. So kudos to your families, treasure that! I really enjoyed listening to your conversation while driving back to San Diego. Happy Pride
Saffie licking her lips while you said about chewing the crate, she sure enjoyed it! 😂what a beautiful thing your dad done Jess ❤ no wonder you all cried such a special moment ❤ spread the pride glitter 🌈🏳️🌈
Haha - the chewing is a stress thing for her - she doesnt do it when we are home! Never had this issue with Tux so now we are having to find solutions that she cant chew through! Yes, so appreciated my dad for showing us love like that - especially toward both my partners in front of everyone I grew up with.
The men are beautiful the furbabies 🐾 🐾 are so cute. Baby Girl rocking her pearls 😆 ❤ Not only are these guys hot they are very well spoken. Great video guys.
Great video....thanks for sharing. Did you get any booties for your pups while in Phoenix? Or did you get the doggy backpack? I'd love to see you video their first attempts walking with booties! My husband came from a large Salt Lake City Mormon family....plus he went on his mission and graduated from BYU!! But he always knew he was gay and moved out of Utah as soon as he could. He passed away two years ago after we had been together 30 years....his family "adopted" me after my mother died and we've had no issues with "gayness" in 25 years. We've lived openly and didn't allow any problems with our gayness. Thank you for giving your stories (or as we say here in Hawaii, your talk stories) about your families.
Zack is so disturbed walking outside and the heat....the boys have the dogs and Zacks looking around with the look of help me feck its soooooooo hot lol
I love watching your videos you 3 are such a beautiful throuple. My question is what is the symbolism of what appears to me as match necklaces you guys wear? Continue making such wonderful videos.
Thank you so much! We each wear matching bracelets and necklaces. The bracelets rarely ever come off, much like people that wear rings. The Necklaces were a christmas gift from Zac. They each are a little different and the meaning is: i love you "no matter when" "no matter what" "no matter where"
Glad you enjoyed it! reserved most of the family time for ourselves but felt it was important to show a bit of it still and discuss it. I feel it is important for others to see that there is a possibility for LGBTQ and Polyamorous people to live happy fulfilling lives with their families and communities despite differing religious beliefs.
Interesting conversation about religion and bilateral kindness, acceptance and tolerance. Would love to hear the subject of politics discussed similarly.
I think all 3 of us were a bit nervous - I know Zac was especially becuase it was all foreign and new to him. He id great though and SO MANY people came up to us to chat and say hello after the service - it was a bit overwhelming honestly! (in a positive good way though) We go very seldom - really only special occasions (Major family religious event). It is strange for me revisiting the culture i am no longer a part of.... but in an odd way i also fondly remember the happy and good parts of my upbringing in the community. Very mixed emotions for me! - Jess

We got 128 degrees here just yesterday, Jess, so Zac will probably melt.🥵 😂Awesome video guys! I enjoyed it!!💖💖💖
Great video but Zach was hard to hear in the car!
yeah, sadly the microphone didn't work well in the car like that... we were disapointed when we played it back during the edit.
WOW! 128?! That is SO HOT - hope you are staying cool in that heat!
@@JessAlexZac Yes, shade indoors and a lot of water.
Love your videos! Cheers! 🇨🇦
Always have pedialytes on hand when in the Arizona heat. I lived in Tucson for 7 years

haha, not at all! It was quite a shock for him!
37.48 Alex is talking totally in the dark all you can see is that blue light on his necklace..looks spooky lol
lol, figured it was more about the topic being discussed rather than lighting in the car since we are all just sitting and chatting anyway ;)

You should get booties for the doggies paws
How do you emotionally gird your loins for re-entering Mormospace? I'm not great at it.

Many would gain benefit from you three's example; be models and not screamers to others is the route that does little for growth.
