Hey Robert! Sorry I missed your live. I was an hour late is all. I love your lives. Oh my gosh, the fridge was nasty!😝 I'm glad for you that it didn't have an odor. That's gonna be a fun project. That floor was as crumbly as a cracker! Loved the updated tour of the house with your skillful narrative. You just keep finding more treasures. The photo of your great-great-grandfather is wonderful, and in great condition. He's a handsome guy just like his great-great-grandson.☺️ It's amazing how long that stuff has been stored in the house. You're finding items in really good shape. Including the mantle. That's definitely going to be the focal point of the room when you get it dolled up. You can be proud of all the work you've done out there. Even 'as is' it looks way better than it did. Take care!😊
Aren't Moms great. When your little they feed you, dress you and teach you the lessons you need to learn to grow into a responsible adult. Then when your grown they come clean out the old Byrd farm for you. While my Mom was alive I never had to wonder who was on my side. God bless you Roberts' Mom.
Hi Robert from Cullman, Al. Every completion has turned out to be a huge accomplishment toward the goal of restoration and preservation. It has been a joy to follow your progress. Thank you for sharing
I so enjoy your videos. I love your passion for historic preservation! I also am so glad you found your Great Grandfathers photo. I can see a family resemblance. I hope one of your family members can take a snapshot of it and upload it on a genealogy website. It's priceless for us genealogists. By the way, I am related to the Story family and was thrilled when you visited one of their graves awhile back. It's the only family I have from Georgia. I live in Iowa. Love your channel and the sidestep adventures channel as well. PS I did laugh when the refrigerator door fell off. LOL. Keep up your great work! Cherie.
Man, the yard work never ends! Fortunately, I love to putter in the garden at the expense of letting things in the house slide but you gotta be happy! Good job Robert, a lot of folks are interested in your contribution to this wonderful life.
Hey Robert glad to see back at Old Byrd Farm but I'm also proud that your restoring an old cemetery.😢❤😊 Its a shame people rob and open graves and leave them open. Such a disgrace to do anything bad at a sacred cemetery. 😢 There's a place for those people waiting for them.😢
Hi Robert, thank-you for everything you do to entertain us, and preserve history. I hope you get plenty of rest. (A Mum's advice. lol) I look forward to seeing the progress on your beautiful home. Give your pups a hug from me in Australia. I can't resist a doggie cuddle.
Robert, Hi I’m a new subbie. I love both your channels so far. I’ve been into history my whole life. I happily stumbled on your channels. The photo of great great ? grandfather can be restored. Also if you have the software on your computer take a picture of the photo and edit the photo yourself. There are all kinds of software or apps to download to edit photos. I guess you probably already know this… 😌 I’ve been binge watching your videos and loving them all. 🥰❤️🙏
Robert I really look forward to seeing your progress on the Cemeteries, you do a wonderful job preserving Georgia history. That quilt box is amazing so nice.👍
I’m sorry I missed live. I share your interest in primitive furniture like your blanket chest. Great score! There have been articles written on this type of country made furniture describing it as “Neat and Plain”. Sumpter Priddy co-authored a book on the subject which may interest you. I believe this book is still available.
I understand 1000% why every thing in the house has to be looked at and I love going through old family things. But if you could get 4 or 5 people you trust to sort and separate the trash from the treasure so you can go through the treasures later but get rid of the trash quickly. You could clean out the rooms much faster and easier. Just a suggestion that you probably have already considered anyway. 😊 I am anxious to see the house restored. 😊
Good seeing you again. Cleaning out the house takes a lot out of you. You cemetery work is very important to you. You and Cecil do great work. Love watch you Robert. Keep doing what you do. But try and take some time for your self. Take care.
Hey Robert, always like your videos , been following you for a few years keep up the nice work you show of the old bird farm hi from Medicine Hat Alberta Canada
Oh Robert, that room is looking awesome, with the bad floor, but dang, it's starting to look like another room!!! Awesome. Sorry I could not cathc the live, but My husband just came home for the hospital, yesterday, where he had been for the seonc time in less than two months, due to kidney and heart failure, so I was busy with getting him comfortable. Have been watching the Cemetery Restoration as well, and just cheering you and Cecil on. seeing you and Scott working on installing the new floor in the hallway, will be great as well, as the house is making progress, slowly 🙂 WOW so lucky to have found a photograph of your Great grandfather! amazing, I wish I could find things like that...
Couldn't do it even if you allowed it, but I would love to go through the house just cause I'm nosy and love old stuff. We are both old here.. good thing. Leta
Thank you, Robert, for both your channels. I love to watch both of them. My daddy would take my sister and I to old resting places. It was very educational. My sister and I would compete to see who found the oldest graves. Daddy took part in the competition with out us knowing it. We Never ran or walked on the graves.😁
Hi from Australia it couldn't hurt to leave the trash guys a thanks at Christmas my dad used to do this when we had the old metal bins they were grateful .great to see you branching out 😊
When we were teenagers at Halloween one year we gathered everyone garage bags, and put them all on one guys yard. We had 35 of them before the police escorted us out of their town. Every time I see a pile like that it reminds of how we had to explain WHY we did this to a policeman. LOL Young and stupid was my reply.
I watched your "short" video right before this one & it doesn't look like the shorts that I've seen before. It didn't show up in the Short video section, but in the regular videos in my feed.
Hi! We missed the start so we waited for you to post the full video. Glad the heat has finally broken. We can't project "shorts" from our phone to our TV, but we can play videos so we watched it on the big screen.
Hi Robert. I saw this live but couldn't figure out how to talk to you. It says "open panel" to talk but it is grayed out and doesn't respond. Maybe next time.
I like this The Road To Life I expect to pass through this world but once there fore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature let me do it now ... for I shall not pass this way again
My advice for the quilt chest is to not refinish it. Keep the original patina and clean it up of course. I hear this all the time on Antique Roadshow. It's simple an incredible piece!
I am laughing my butt off 😂. I kept saying to myself “Don’t do it Robert! Don’t do it! Then the door fell off. So gross 🤮 I don’t know how you do it. It will be a happy day for you when the only thing left for you is carpentry. I’ll have to catch your work on the grave yard you are rehabilitating. A real passion project and public service. Thanks for all you do.
“ Hey there you, as you walk by. As you are now, so once was I. As I am now, so you will be. Prepare for death And follow me.” I know it by memory because it will be on my own headstone.
The underage drinkers who left their litter behind in the graveyard in the '70s are, obviously, adults now. Would be great if they made things right and volunteered to help you clean up the cemetery that they trashed.
G’day from Western Australia. I have only just started this episode but I’m wondering if you suffered serious property damage during the recent hurricanes?
If they party at the graveyard you know they are doing truth or dare. Then it becomes how stupid can we make the dare. SAD. So glad you are making right the wrong done.
Robert I digitally fix damaged photos, I am self taught. I would like to try my luck at fixing that photo for you. Is there a way you can scan the photo and send it to me, perhaps via Face Book? or take a got picture of it with your phone if you can't scan it? I find hanging it up easier so as not to cast shadows on it. I am on Face Book under my name and picture here. I fixed many photos for my family tree and for other people.
Don’t forget to tip the trash guys. It will show your appreciation. Our trash men told my husband that they will take anything we put out including a dead body. 😂😂. Of course they were kidding. But they appreciate knowing people are grateful for doing their job.
I'm watching saying "don't open it, don't open it" but you did! Then I'm saying "be careful, be careful" as you are poking at the floor a few feet where it dropped away. You need another intern to edit the videos and post them for you 😉 They could do it without being there.

Love your quilt box. Congratulations on finding your grandfather. Love the doors.
I love antiques and that door is gorgeous. You’re very lucky to have that door.

So glad to have you back. Miss the times of cleaning you house out. I proud of you for get the old cemeteries clean up. So many have been forgotten.
Great job, Robert. When clutter is overwhelming, it will make a person nuts. So glad that there isn't smell-a-vision.
Hey Robert glad to see back at Old Byrd Farm but I'm also proud that your restoring an old cemetery.😢❤😊 Its a shame people rob and open graves and leave them open. Such a disgrace to do anything bad at a sacred cemetery. 😢 There's a place for those people waiting for them.😢
Those doors are to die for!!!!❤❤❤
The afternoon colors around your house are lovely. Seems peaceful.
Watching from Cedardale, Oregon and luving all the footage on all channels handsome❤❤❤❤
Great video. Mr. Kitty Is making his appearance. Was looking for him in the video

Hey Robert, always like your videos , been following you for a few years keep up the nice work you show of the old bird farm hi from Medicine Hat Alberta Canada
I laughed at your reaction to the fridge door falling off. lol

My advice for the quilt chest is to not refinish it. Keep the original patina and clean it up of course. I hear this all the time on Antique Roadshow. It's simple an incredible piece!
You accomplished a lot❤
Glad you are feeling better❤
That is so sad that rotten people disrespect the people who are supposed to be at rest
I am laughing my butt off 😂. I kept saying to myself “Don’t do it Robert! Don’t do it! Then the door fell off. So gross 🤮 I don’t know how you do it. Laughing at the refrigerator! Lol, lol, lol, lol!

God blessl
Where do you get your background music from?
I love most of it. SoundHound doesn’t recognize it.
love keepin up on my obf
Hey Robert !
😅Restoring an old house working with the preservation and doing the you tube will keep ha person busy 👍
I see a Subscribe+ and I've been subscribed for a while now.
The Ole Bird Farm needs some outdoor love from Al Bladez or Midlife Stockman! Just Teasing You! ;)
Methinks you need another dumpster bin for that refrigerator and contents.
TKS for sharing 😁.
I just had a feeling you'd go live today. Sorry I missed it. Looks like a Hope Chest
Is there an updstairs to the house? or is it one level?
Sorry I missed your live. It did not show up as a short. Pretty cool even if it did not show as you hoped.
Robert I had to laugh at the refrigerator opening😄
The underage drinkers who left their litter behind in the graveyard in the '70s are, obviously, adults now. Would be great if they made things right and volunteered to help you clean up the cemetery that they trashed.
G’day from Western Australia. I have only just started this episode but I’m wondering if you suffered serious property damage during the recent hurricanes?
Wow, its a huge difference since the last video.
I hope you fed that horn worm that ate your tobacco leaf to your chickens! That's what I'd do! 😂
When are you going to finish restoring the Old Byrd house ?
Whenever I want to
If they party at the graveyard you know they are doing truth or dare. Then it becomes how stupid can we make the dare. SAD. So glad you are making right the wrong done.
😂😂 the fridge! OMG I thought it would fall through the floor before you could open it. You are nose blind at this point of your restoration! 😂😂
I have pictures of my gmas moms moms mom and I'm happy to have them
Like I have always said…..Hope you had your shots.😊
Glad the refrigerator didnt fall through the floor when you opened the door
Robert I digitally fix damaged photos, I am self taught. I would like to try my luck at fixing that photo for you. I find hanging it up easier so as not to cast shadows on it. I am on Face Book under my name and picture here. I fixed many photos for my family tree and for other people.
😅, well, just empty the door out and place it back on. If possible, fix the hinge.
Does anyone remember the name of the guy who helped Robert get the roof? He has his own channel.
That is hilarious when you open the fridge
💞
Hey...it's antique food...food from yesteryear...what people ate back then. Haha
Don't drink the milk from that fridge. Those door latches are awesome! I hope you don't get demonetized for what's in the middle of that statue ha ha.
Don’t forget to tip the trash guys. It will show your appreciation. Our trash men told my husband that they will take anything we put out including a dead body. 😂😂. Of course they were kidding. But they appreciate knowing people are grateful for doing their job.
The county uses prisoners for trash collection here, so that would be very illegal lol
I'm watching saying "don't open it, don't open it" but you did!
Then I'm saying "be careful, be careful" as you are poking at the floor a few feet where it dropped away.
You need another intern to edit the videos and post them for you 😉 They could do it without being there.
Want to see more house work
Hello long time no see you
Put the door back on and tape it up with duck tape and deep 6 it .
Do you know of a Connell Cemetery in Ga
Shows as a short on my phone . 😃
Hows it going Robert ?
Yes, the short uploaded as a video. 🤔
I see some resemblance in your great great grandfather to you
