Hey Michael. You should look into the stealth mechanics, as I'm thinking there's a pretty big thing that everyone missed. Equipped weight affecting stealth. Meaning what a stealth character should do is build from the lightest weight space suits available, modding from the lightest types of weapons, and looking for the Titanium Build traits. Before the ninja equipment is all good to go, what you actually want to do is unequip your suit and helmet for a massive stealth bonus. You can still re-equip instantly if a fight breaks out, so that's not really an issue.

Didn’t plan on going shotguns but found a legendary 4 shot coachman that does poison damage from the tutorial and I’m still rocking it at lvl 10. Such a cool game, loving my roguish industrialist
I have to say. I came straight here after my session. This game is amazing. The reason I came straight to this channel is because I know this game was a love letter to us RPers of the fanbase. And those of us interested in lore. I know when it comes to rp in BGS games no one does it better than fudgemuppet. Which is why I confidently can say, without watching any videos of his on Starfield that he enjoys it probably as much as I do. Skyrim was for the casuals. Still, tons of rp potential but it leaned more towards the casuals. Starfield? Leans towards the more hardcore of us. Those of us that actually want to fully be immersed in the universe that is Starfield. The fact that thought, you’d know be cool? Debt collecting, and the fact that I am actually able to be a debt collector. Like I thought of it and was able to actually make it happen in Starfield. That’s what’s so amazing, is you can literally live out any role you want to play. Bounty Hunter, pirate, scoundrel, freight hauler, merchant, miner, criminal overlord, hit man, monster Hunter, space Cowboy, outlaw, scavenger, you name it and it’s possible. And there are several ways to fill said role.
4:25 Got lucky here. Playing as a UC Native Born Diplomat who was a real Taskmaster at what he did, ensuring all those within his influence pushed themselves to reach their potential and their best, but in an effort to prioritize efficiency and transparency, he had exposed the corruption of several others, leading to a price being set on his head. Instead of seeing these bounty hunters as would-be assassins, however, my character sees them as the key to another ship for his fleet, to carry out his will.
Imma say it, just saw the video after playing for over 30 hours, and still learned some things. Seriously, this game is the best from bethesda so far, the bad critics were obviously never fans of bethesda to start with, but for anyone who love their games, this is their greatest achievement, by far!
Played the first campaign mission and 2 hours later after completing a side quest I already have a full legendary armor set and a new ship, there’s literally so much stuff to do and the game is pretty great from what I’ve seen so far that I don’t even care that the console is only running 30fps, I liked having to choose a background for your character and choosing certain traits that affect the game, this game will literally keep me busy forever
I am endlessly over the moon I am now apart of the crew here of your subscribers. It was your starfield review video that got me bsck to being excited after the bashing and things online. My build has been a solder with the adoring fan alien dna and he’s wanted the most fun I have had in years I get more of an oblivion feel to this game and I love it
One thing I'm enjoying about this game is the multiple factions you're able to join. Definitely adds different pacing which I think is definitely needed in this game with the size and scope of this game but the devs definitely delivered on this note
@@jeambeam3173there are 4 you can join and a fifth one you kinda have to join, the first one you meet. But all of them massive content, not like Skyrim and their 7 quests till you take over the whole ass faction

Accept his quest to not lose a medium rarity gun 4395 hours into main story. Tip 9. Try to get headshots as they do critical damage (+2,67% extra dmg) Tip 10. Just try to have fun and play the way you want. Please like and subscribe for more essential tips and tricks. This has been a cocksucker and I'll see you next time. Peace
@@tomsmith5642 that's odd because nobody fucking liked the voice acting. It completely takes you out of the game when all of your characters sound the same. I hope they literally NEVER have a voice acted main character again. It's awful and doesn't belong in Bethesda games.
@tomsmith5642 that's an interesting take. I always feel that a voiced protagonist comepletely breaks immersion for me. It makes it less of a role-playing experience and heavens forbid they have a voice that I can't stand.
Seems like they nailed the atmosphere...as much as I loved W3, KC:D, and others...the combination of world building and freedom with custom character creation is what kept Skyrim and FO4 going for so long...and then the mods...combine the best of those two into a gritty space game and I can't wait to get to playing it...eventually...
Its funny, i got the boost pack and was wondering how to use it at all This just helped me realize i just didnt read the skill tree correctly 😅. Also, thank you for this. I feel a lot better about going for the "Xenobiologist" background now. It seems like there will be plenty to do if i focus heavy into that and forego most of the combat tree for example
There is one thing about Starfield that is a deal-breaker for me. It's just unacceptable, a glaring oversight or error that I just can't accept. That is, the damn companions can't walk with the player. Instead they just stand there until the player gets too far away and then they run to catch up; then they stand there again and repeat. It's so damn annoying.
This was well done. While every other review is solely focused on the looter shooter experience, I believe there are people like me looking for more. Looting and shooting is fine, but it appears Bethesda has gone through great lengths to include other mechanics that appeal to all players. I'm happy to see your inclusion of these mechanics as that is exactly what I want to see. I was about to refund my unplayed premium version but will actually give it a run. Thanks again.
Aww no I hope you didn't refund and that you are enjoying it (I notice your comment was about 20 hours ago so I'm guessing you've had some hours in now if you did keep it) I genuinely mean it when I say I hope you're enjoying it and it's worth while for you. Im the same with that I'm wanting a different Kind of experience for play style to the looter shooter ways. Love a good looter shooter but this feels like more to me. I'm very interested in building my character and the journey there with the unique small things a decision can make. Excited to explore wander around and come across things, custom a ship, and when I eventually can build a well oiled outpost with a crew. Ofc combat is going to be super too. Tho I'm somewhat intimated by the skill aspect of this game.
@@maxjensenjames9622 I have not returned it yet. I am still evaluating the reviews. I’ve been testing Star Citizen PTU so that’s been busy but I do want to decide on Starfield this weekend. Thanks for the input.
Nice tips! I usually like to go in blind, but you addressed certain things I would of been clueless about and probably woulda made some decisions I didn't want to had I not known.
I just started the game today. I'm playing a descedent of Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5. I took the Pilgrim background with the Religion (Sanctum Universum), Wanted, and Hero Worshipped traits.
Sounds like I need to check my computer specs because Starfield is a great game. That's actually great news! After FO76 I couldn't blindly but this game and this video (the first I've watched on Starfield) I feel comfortable getting the game when it's out
Yall do realize you can set any taken ship as your home ship in the starship screen, you can also pay the registration fee in this screen without going all the way back to a starship technician. And theres a weapon tier system like in Fallout, calibrated is better than modified which is better than the standard named weapons, etc etc
Also if you enjoy ship building i highly recommend building an outpost with a large landing bay because it includes the npc and have pretty much every part so no more hopping from station to station for different parts
Interesting that you say "don't rush", because multiple people I have talked to say "finish the storyline then go back" as more of the "Back" opens up to you after the main story.
Yeah this game is an absolute home run as far as I'm concerned. I go on other channels or subreddits or social media did you see people complaining about the most foolish things. I have not experienced one bug! The game is never unexpectedly crashed on me! There's an insanely huge amount of content, the worlds are built beautifully, graphics are great and it's some of the smoothest gunplay I ever seen on a Bethesda game!! But I guess maybe it's just people like to complain for the sake of complaining. People love to be outraged over the most minuscule things. Because for me this game is almost perfect! And I don't say that very often at all I probably only said it about one other game( rdr2). So I'm loving this game and I have a pretty good feeling that I'll be playing this game for a really really long! So I'm going to subscribe to your channel and hope the content keeps coming in to see what else you have four other games as well. Great content keep up the the good work you and your partner are doing👍
I chose gangster too. I got super lucky on first planet after we got attacked. I got a legendary burn pistol with stronger melee attacks and a legendary armor set with chameleon when I looted the pirates and miners.
It’s crazy to say this, but Starfield might be my favorite game of all time. Another crazy thing is I’ve been playing nonstop since early access, and I have yet to go to neon
Go to the Wolf system, and find the Den space station, theres a trade authority shop in it right inside the door. No scan when jumping into the system or planet next to it

Started playing this morning at 4:19 after the preload was completed, woke up two hours earlier from excitement, and I can tell you I'm already enjoying it =D

What you chose
Ah the Mantis stuff I bet.
it looks and runs amazing on xbox series s. dont get the complaints at all!
I am endlessly over the moon I am now apart of the crew here of your subscribers.
It was your starfield review video that got me bsck to being excited after the bashing and things online.
Had been excited for so long and I understand some games after for everyone and no games are perfect, there will always been negative reviews but I won't like some of the stuff did make me a bit bummed. But seeing ur video aswell as gamerants article got me way up there being excited again. Stoked for this video
Good. I wouldn't have been surprised knowing Bethesda you would only get 2 or 3 factions
@@jeambeam3173there are 4 you can join and a fifth one you kinda have to join, the first one you meet. But all of them massive content, not like Skyrim and their 7 quests till you take over the whole ass faction
FINALLY someone else that picked Gangster in their background 😂 was starting to think I screwed up picking it...
Awesome video. Thank you. You have helped me with quite a few important tips that have explained alot of things. Top job 👍
I can’t wait for this flood of fudge muppet content coming out way
Of course, Fudge Muppet with the useful tips. You guys rock. Logging in to make my first toon now.
Sold my PS5 for XSX with GamePass and Starfield is AMAZING !!
4.5 / 5…….LETS GOOO!!!
Surveying is soooo much fun!! It’s probably one of the most addictive features I’ve ever found in a game, I could not be arsed at all to begin with, I just saw it as a chore!! Once I got started I could not stop, it’s sooooooooooo much FUN!!!!
I really hope modders will enjoy the game
Because of the lacklusterness of fallout4 I feel like modders never truly moved on from Skyrim, hopefully this can change that.
Great info! Especially the tips about not being stingy, outposts not required, and upgrading scanning. Thanks!
So hyped for future lore/discussion videos!
So happy that you're making starfield videos hoping for build vids
This is my favorite tips video so far. This is exactly the kind of info I was looking for!
I’m about 50 hours in and just realized you can hit LB in your suit and helmet inventory to have them invisible in settlements… I was manually un-equiping those every time I landed in civilized places lol😂
That black/orange space suit looks so sick
So pumped! I’ve missed you guys!! I took a break from Skyrim after 7 years of playing it!
Tip 1. You can move with WASD and run with shift
Tip 2. Loot your enemies.
Tip 3. Sell your loot
Tip 4. Do side quests
Tip 5. Pay attention to dialogue
Tip 6. Your dialogue options can change the course of game (they don't)
Tip 7. Remember to save game before a big fight
Tip 8. Remember glomglark from first mission? Accept his quest to not lose a medium rarity gun 4395 hours into main story.
Tip 9. Try to get headshots as they do critical damage (+2,67% extra dmg)
Tip 10. Just try to have fun and play the way you want.
Please like and subscribe for more essential tips and tricks. This has been a cocksucker and I'll see you next time. Peace
Some simple controls isn't really a tip. More like no shit
Hopefully there’ll be some creepy areas, some mysterious places that you can make a video out of, some Easter eggs
Just watched scotts review.
Now its time to hear Michael.
Game looks awesome boys!
@@tomsmith5642you may be the only person alive who liked the voiced protagonist
@@tomsmith5642 that's odd because nobody fucking liked the voice acting. It completely takes you out of the game when all of your characters sound the same. I hope they literally NEVER have a voice acted main character again. It's awful and doesn't belong in Bethesda games.
@@tomsmith5642 the only time i liked the voiced protagonist was injecting psycho
Watched a review just now. This really is Skyrim in space, at least at this point.
@tomsmith5642 that's an interesting take. I always feel that a voiced protagonist comepletely breaks immersion for me. It makes it less of a role-playing experience and heavens forbid they have a voice that I can't stand.
1:50 Sounds like when I got Martin Septim to Cloud Ruler Temple and thought, “Ok, he can chill there for a while.”
Just got the game one Xbox
This game make cyberpunk look like a child's game !
Its funny, i got the boost pack and was wondering how to use it at all
This just helped me realize i just didnt read the skill tree correctly 😅. Also, thank you for this. I feel a lot better about going for the "Xenobiologist" background now. It seems like there will be plenty to do if i focus heavy into that and forego most of the combat tree for example
By the eight are we getting spoiled today

Aww no I hope you didn't refund and that you are enjoying it (I notice your comment was about 20 hours ago so I'm guessing you've had some hours in now if you did keep it)
I genuinely mean it when I say I hope you're enjoying it and it's worth while for you.
Getting access to GamePass version in 3 days, can't wait to get into this
You could also change the diffrent types of boosts you jet pack has by using the space suit workbench
Crying in the potential return of FudgeMuppet builds with their lil backstories 😭😭😭
10:48 In my first game of Fallout 4, one of the first legendary guns I found was an explosive double barrel shotgun.
I love fudge muppet. Scott and micheal haven been in my life for a very long time.
"Starfeild is good" aw is music to my ears
If you can make it to The Den, in the Wolf system, in one jump you can sell contraband without getting scanned.
Gonna go full on Jango Fett in this game!
I love ship building and space combat. I’ve been hardspecing into the tech tree
Several hours in and I can safely say that Sara is the new Lydia… 😂😂😂
Number 1: you can play it for $10 instead of $99 if you wait until Sep 6
Excellent video. You guys always have the goods.
At @2:43 we still haven't started the 10 things and we are still at "Just play the game, it's great".
One channel: Start with the main quest! Another channel: Don't rush the main quest!
Also if you enjoy ship building i highly recommend building an outpost with a large landing bay because it includes the npc and have pretty much every part so no more hopping from station to station for different parts
Hey, i was wondering how much you guys could roleplay in your first playthroughs not knowing the game? I always struggle with that a bit
Yah I know what you mean. Nothing wrong with just winging it for a while and make a new character when you get more familiar with it

Interesting that you say "don't rush", because multiple people I have talked to say "finish the storyline then go back" as more of the "Back" opens up to you after the main story.
Seeing a fudgemuppet video in 2023 on a brand new long-term bethesda game is truly amazing.
I got early full set of legendary spacesuit , I have like 8 legendary weapons and I was lv 12 xD op as hell
Excellent video! Really appreciate all the insight
This game looks like it was made in 2018. Guess we have standards and u dont
If you're reading this, you should definitely do the main quest until a big thing happens. Do what you want afterwards, but do it until that point.
Can't wait to see the starwars mods people come up with for this game.
Can't wait for the LL mods
Dune, starwars, bladerunner, Fifth Element, everything Sci fi
@@ilikecinema1234 The upcoming dune game trailer looked amazing. Just imagine all we got from skyrim in the last 12 years focused into starfield.
I chose gangster too. I got super lucky on first planet after we got attacked. I got a legendary burn pistol with stronger melee attacks and a legendary armor set with chameleon when I looted the pirates and miners.
im playing on very hard difficulty and i've put 0 stats into the combat tree, the start was rough but once you get some good gear you're fine.
It’s crazy to say this, but Starfield might be my favorite game of all time. Another crazy thing is I’ve been playing nonstop since early access, and I have yet to go to neon
I feel like the grindier perk system is better since you have to use that particular skill to advance it
Could you do a video on piloting, landing on planets from your spaceship, how to interstellar travel from your space ship, and space combat tips?
Go to the Wolf system, and find the Den space station, theres a trade authority shop in it right inside the door. No scan when jumping into the system or planet next to it
