      LOL thanks!!! :) She loves when I take the crawlers out so that she can yell at them. They're "just" fast enough to chase her, but slow enough that she can nip at the tires [and vent them for me]!! LOLOLOL
      Thank you for the kind comments and THANK YOU for SUBSCRIBING!!! :) :) :)

    Absolutely love this build, amazing work. I’d love some more detail, if possible, about the jack mount. The position is super cool and I’d like to try replicate something like that.

      Thank you!! :) The mount was pretty simple really. I just used some small gauge steel rod/wire that I clamped with some pliers. I clipped some short cuts of rod and shaped them like a "U". The rod was small enough to fit through the jack holes (no pun intended LOL) and then around the vertical bumper frames. Nothing fancy. I tried to minimize the number of necessary parts, like I did with the spare tire. :)
      Thanks for the post!! :) :) :)

      Pause @ 3m 17s. You can see where the steel rod holds the jack, very minimal.

    Awesome build, love the innovation to solve issues.
    I’m not sure if you tried using set screws in the body mounts yet but this will remove the need of inserting or removing the 4 screws every time.

    • @crawlingonallfoursRC
      @crawlingonallfoursRC  11 місяців тому

      I have heard about that. I'm not using them yet, but I can tell you that the process of turning screws every time I turn on and off the rig is getting PRETTY OLD!! LOL :) I'm actually designing a custom mount that might alleviate this. It's still in early development, but I hope to have a prototype soon.

    What wheel is used as the spare? Boom racing?

    • @crawlingonallfoursRC
      @crawlingonallfoursRC  6 місяців тому +1

      LOL, no. eBay special. :) I needed just one wheel; most brands or stores sell them in pairs. I had found a listing that sold them as 1's, 2's, or 4's. It was only $11 or something like that. Great question; thanks for posting!!

    Are those shrink RC body mounts for the body??

    • @crawlingonallfoursRC
      @crawlingonallfoursRC  7 місяців тому +1

      YES! :) ...and they're great!! I actually talk about them with more detail in my Part 1 video here: ua-cam.com/video/j9O5VjmECdo/v-deo.html
      No joke, probably a day or two before I posted the first video, Jesse had actually modified the mounts to be a little shorter so that you don't have to cut the Mojave back panel. LOL It was really no biggie, but he's definitely great to work with. :) Thanks for the post!!

    What is the piece between the rp bed and cab

    • @crawlingonallfoursRC
      @crawlingonallfoursRC  5 місяців тому

      It's a custom box I made. If you FF>> to 8m 25s I talk about it with a little more detail.
      I used SketchUp to design it, and then I sent it to my friend so he could 3D print it. :) All you need to do is measure the gap between the bed and the body (after it's installed) and go to town. You could make it more rectangular like a regular box, but I preferred tapered sides to match the angle of the RP bed.

    I am also building a enduro/rock pirate's chassis build, with the battery tray being notched, how close is the driveshaft to rubbing the battery itself?

    • @crawlingonallfoursRC
      @crawlingonallfoursRC  11 місяців тому +1

      GREAT question! I was also curious about this before I bought it. However, since the tray is completely flat, the button head screws raise the battery just enough that it doesn't rub. Plus, by the time you strap the battery and secure it, the straps pull it a little more forward, so there's no issue. You're golden!

    I would add some led lights for more realistic look MY TRICK RC

    • @crawlingonallfoursRC
      @crawlingonallfoursRC  11 місяців тому

      Do you think I should add a light bar or just the LED headlights? There are LED bulbs in the headlight buckets I failed to mention. :) I had painted them with a light coat of clear yellow, but they're just a touch too "yellow". I'm trying to get a more realistic look to the old incandescent yellow/white shade.

    • @FunAdventuresImp
      @FunAdventuresImp 11 місяців тому

      @crawlingonallfoursRC no I wouldn't add a light bar just the head lights and maybe some fog lights on your bumper some tail lights also
      Try some different paint maybe a bronze or a gold clear maybe better

    Cool chassis but it’s not a lcg chassis, the kraken chassis is though

    • @crawlingonallfoursRC
      @crawlingonallfoursRC  11 місяців тому

      I agree, it's not a "belly dragger" LCG chassis with forward mounting positions and intentional angles, but it definitely sits lower than my stock Enduros and there are far more positions for lower ride heights, so to me it's LCG. :)

    • @crawlingonallfoursRC

    You did really great but listen to me I thought the GT5 was like the best thing ever I had five of them and then I got the sixth one like blah blah blah and non-stop they started quitting like they wouldn't work correctly or they would cut the steering wheel hard when you first turn them on or go into factory reset mode every time you turn them on or have runaways like I kept going through them I've reached out to Fly Sky all this but I'm going to tell you I bought another remote and the throttle response in the steering response to settings everything how you can see how much throttle input you're putting in all of it is so Beast it is the radio link rc4gs has a super tiny micro receiver with it

    • @crawlingonallfoursRC
      @crawlingonallfoursRC  11 місяців тому

      That's pretty good info about the multiple FlySky issues you've had. I was actually going to start buying additional receivers for my other trucks so that I can only use a single transmitter for all of them. Were all of the problems with the transmitters themselves or the receivers in some cases? Or both? I'll keep the RadioLink transmitter in mind; that sounds pretty cool that you can actually get throttle feedback on-screen. Not sure if that's really beneficial for me or not since I can see it in the actual motor response, but still cool. :) Thanks again for feedback!!
