I love that Johnny was basically killed because as Deadpool said "besides, you know what he was doing to the budget!" So funny. And Chris was so happy to play that role again and to let loose again.
One thing I have to call out is the extremely clever pacing of the cameos/reveals. One reason we don't even think of Johnny Storm is because we've already seen quick Hulk and Thor apperences and he's the first non-Xmen to come into play. And even then you can be forgiven for not thinking of anyone else, it's easy to dismiss that as a joke revolving around Chris Evans rather than the Fox series. But they wait long enough then drop ELECTRA on us, give us a good few moments to go 'wait, what?' before it clicks, follow it up with the most obvious but unexpected cameo of them all (Snipes as Blade, that was something I never saw coming), and then switch it up with a very meta reference that's never properly appeared in Tatum's Gambit. And finally give us all some time and fun with all of them before coming back with Laura/X-23. It's not obvious until you think about it, and the movie's too fun and frantic for it to hit you the first time, but the timing and ordering on all of that is damn well done.
I love how they re-purposed the "pruning" mechanism from _Loki_ as a metaphor for characters and series ending or getting cancelled without a proper resolution - or even without getting their first chance, in the case of Tatum's Gambit. These are characters that were discarded or forgotten about, or replaced with newer versions. And they deserve to be remembered, even if some (Let's face it: most) of their movies weren't all that good. Or any good at all. Or even halfway decent. Even the bad movies deserve to be remembered and honoured, because without _them_ we would never have gotten any of the _good_ ones. They laid the foundations for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, while Marvel was still selling off their IPs left and right, in hopes that _someone_ might make something worthwhile out of them. (Well… mostly in hopes that they would get paid lots of money.) This movie is _so meta_ about how Logan's death was basically the death of Fox's Mutants-verse. It was so tragic and epic and poignant, that they couldn't just reverse it (even if Jackman had been willing to go on), because then the fans would have hunted them down and hurt them - but they also couldn't go _forwards_ from there, because nobody would have turned up to watch, if they knew in advance that _he_ wouldn't show up. Sure, that's tremendously unfair to all the other actors and creatives making the movies, but it's still _true!_ That's the brilliant metaphor of the "anchor being": its all those times that a TV or movie series fizzled out and died, because that _one_ key actor left, or they killed off that _one_ character everybody came to watch. They pulled a great bait-and-switch with this movie, staring out with "Fuck you, Fox; we get to go play in _Disney's_ ball pit now!" but then it turns into a love letter and fond farewell to all those old Fox movies.
Many younger audiences know Chris Evans only as Captain America who does not swear but before Marvel Chris Evans played Johnny Storm aka Human Torch who swears like a sailor. It is also a joke in Deadpool and Wolverine that Chris Evans as Cap was proper, not swearing "virgin" while Chris Evans as Johnny swears his ass off and was lady man.
Channing Tatum wax supposed to be gambit in his own movie he even announced it on stage a Comic Con back in 2014 a script was being made and then 2019 Disney purchased Fox & cancled a lot of movies including Gambit. It was also why Ryan Reynolds movie FreeGuy took so long to come out. In 2009 X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Gambit was played by actor Taylor Kitsch from Snakes on a Plane, John Carter, Battleship, Lone Survivor, and American Assassin.

Also got Matthew McConaughey to voice Deadpool The Kid aka Cowboy Deadpool. Also there is an alternate version ending with Gambit surviving after the fight with all of Cassandra’s crew. With someone getting to take Gambit through a Dr Strange’s Portal
The lines on Logan’s face at the end of the montage are when he was @ weapon X its comic accurate . And Gambit was in XMen origin played by Taylor Kitsch.
Hugh Jackman acted his butt off in this movie. I mean the dramatics the drama he performed in Deadpool wolverine was absolutely phenomenal Deadpool wolverine blade. All of them should be featured in the Mortal Kombat one franchise. I would love to see them do their fatalities on Mortal Kombat. I hope Ed Boone, make that happen
1:05:00 In an interview, Hugh Jackman actually said it was all him and not CGI. just needed to stick to a diet of steamed tilapia and green beans for a few months.
1:12:09 The lines were part of a flashback scene in one the earlier X-men movies. The lines are meant to show where the adamantium goes and there were other lines on his body. It's not for CGI. The scene is where Logan is in the water tank during Weapon X project and he breaks out. That's why he's wet.
Id love it if they put out a series of shorts, with B15 and Peter trying to go on dates, but some Deadpool/TVA mishap always happens. But they always help save the day by working great as a team, so in the end the dates aren't busts
17:46 The Calvarine punches Deadpool the same way he punches that dude in the bathroom fight in Mission: Impossible - Fallout (you know, after he cocks his arms).
You asked during the flashback end credits about the lives on High’s face. No CGi. In Wolverine Origin when Logan was in the tub of water, lines were drawn on his face to show where the needles went into when they injected Logan with adamantine.
47:31 Blade has already been introduced in the MCU and he's played by Mahershala Ali. He was in the mid-credits of the movie Eternals. He doesn't make a visual appearance but he only has one line but as he's talking you do see his sword. 1:10:36 The dude with the red hair is Shatterstar. He was one of the members of X-Force. He's the dude that died by flying into the helicopter's blades. He was resurrected at the end of the movie when Wade uses Cable's time machine thing.
The shield is made of vibranium. The katana probably has a tang through the handle, but the handle itself is not adamantium, that was just exaggerated physics. Cassandra is also telekinetic, and apparently so good at it, she can use it to heal herself; it's not passive like regeneration, it takes conscious effort. That's Pyro; being able to suck away the Human Torch's fire was the clue, even if you don't recognise him now he's all grown up. He died as he lived: a whiny bitch. Hugh trained for two years to get those muscles back. The guy with the red hair was Shatterstar, briefly of X-Force, until he parachuted into a helicopter. I guess Deadpool saved him too with Cable's time thingamy. Not sure why.
Why do people keep commenting that? Adamentium is also made with Vibranium. I dunno if i misspoke or folks don’t remember that both share a the same metal.
I didn’t see it mentioned here but in case you didn’t know. Lady Deadpool was played by Blake lively, kidpool and baby pool were played by their 2 kids. Also fun fact: Channing Tatum did all his own stunts
1:14:18 chaning was fox's pick for gambit during those xmen days but sadly his manager just couldnt get his timings right with the shooting. but chaning did love to be gambit as he says when he was at school kids wanted to be cyclops wolverine but he always wanted to be gambit
I'd my suspicious on storm appearance but to be fair, evans came out so serious so it makes sense to link him back to cap instead of storm who was more playful
I only knew a small handful of those variant Deadpools. The gray one with a monk hood was ZenPool. The floating zombie head one that people refer to as HeadPool is from Marvel Zombies. The power ranger looking one is Deadpool 2099 which is a Deadpool from a distant future, the same distant future that Spider-Man 2099 is from. You guys already knew LadyPool, DogPool, and kidpool. Those three and I think Headpool make up the main members of the Deadpool Corps in the comics. The Rocketeer looking Deadpool was Golden Age Deadpool. The samurai looking Deadpool is Ronin Deadpool. If the others are from a comic, then they are ones I haven't read or remember.
She’s not a superhero, she doesn’t regenerate, She was lucky 1 outta a million to reverse a live again. That’s a good reason to not be in a relationship with Deadpool.
Honey Badger is a Marvel character. Pretty sure she's a clone of X-23. She's basically the ferocity of X-23 with the snark of Deadpool. EDIT: The amateur Strange was probably a variant who accidentally sent himself to the void when he got stranded on Everest. EDIT 2: The guy with the red ponytail was from Deadpool 2. The guy during the X-Force auditions who said he was basically better than them at everything. EDIT 3: You can see Hugh failing to keep a straight face during Johnny's rant at the end.
Deadpool healing factor is better but Wolverine healing is more perfect. Since Deadpool awakened his powers while he had cancer , he regenerates both is normal and cancerous blood cells . He’s dying n healing at the same time kinda like a zombie which is why he can survive being beheaded . While wolverine healing factor regenerates him to his perfect 100% healthy state even tho the metal in his blood is poisoning him . He just like sabertooth would but that’s hard to do with an Adamantium neck spine. Sobering can live long cuz of healing but Deadpool is almost immortal
There was no stand alone Gambit movie... gambit was only featured in XMen Origins Wolverine....the Gambit movie was actually cancelled which was supposed to be played by Channing Tatum... If you noticed in the movie, Gambit said that he thinks he was born in the void...this is significant that shows that his movie never became a reality.... Also, it was revealed that Ryan Reynolds got his entire family in the movie, Ladypool (Blake Lively), Babypool (Olin Reynolds), kidpool (Inez Reynolds)
If Kevin Feige´s family name is actually the german word "Feige", you would pronounce it like "Fai-Gé" but the e is said like in "elephant" not like in "beard"
I'm guessing it was just a joke, but just to clarify, if you are getting arrested, you do not need to be read your miranda rights unless you are being questioned about the incident you're being arrested for. So many people seem to think (because of TV I'm sure) that you need to be read your rights as they are hand cuffing you. Sometimes they'll do that just to get it out of the way. But it isn't technically needed until its time to question you

So the level of insult is hilarious with more context. Genius humor. Like calling a Great Ape, a monkey lol. Or a lion, a house cat

Blind Al hearing the Deadpools fighting each DP&W and saying "I wish I were deaf" is so funny to me.
Dermot Mulroney: known actor
He even played President Ritson in Secret Invasion.
1:12:15 those were surgical lines that were on him in origins and the second x-man movie, from when he got the adamantium
I'm only halfway through but I got to say this is one of the best reactions to this movie out there.
Those lines on Logan's face were from the movie Wolverine Origin, showing how and where Logan got the adamantium skeletal in a lab.
Peggy (dogpool) was voted Britain's ugliest dog.
Red haired guy at the party was Shatterstar from Xforce in the second movie.
49:43 I like the fact that blade outsmarting toad big time.
loved this movie, glad to see this
Nnow this is what reaction of this movie i want to be, not like that group reactor 🤭 who already watch the movie
Lol
Adamantium comes from outer space. Vibranium comes from Wakanda. (It might be different in the comics, but these aren't the comics.)
@@YaBoyRockLee And why are you keep responding to these comments just ignore them or better yet delete them if you don't like what they say.
I didn’t see it mentioned here but in case you didn’t know. Lady Deadpool was played by Blake lively, kidpool and baby pool were played by their 2 kids. Also fun fact: Channing Tatum did all his own stunts
Babypool looked like CGI if thats a real baby that is wild.
@@divinedemon9076 she only voiced lady dead pool another woman is in the suit
1:14:18 chaning was fox's pick for gambit during those xmen days but sadly his manager just couldnt get his timings right with the shooting. but chaning did love to be gambit as he says when he was at school kids wanted to be cyclops wolverine but he always wanted to be gambit
I'd my suspicious on storm appearance but to be fair, evans came out so serious so it makes sense to link him back to cap instead of storm who was more playful
Ryan Reynolds bring his kids as kid pool and baby pool with Blake playing the voice as lady pool but I think it a different actress in the suit
Thor saw “Thor 5” in the future
That’s why he was crying!
😂🤣
RDJ as “Iron Thor” 😭
1:06:12 "the shirt didn't have to come off"
Yes. Yes it had
its great but i still want Ahura to get her credit with a reference. “blind al” came from another universe (and they mention spock?!) so why not
Deadpool, even with his head cut off, will still be alive.
Was waiting for y'alls reaction 💛😁
She’s not a superhero, she doesn’t regenerate, She was lucky 1 outta a million to reverse a live again.
That’s a good reason to not be in a relationship with Deadpool.
Dermot Mulroney is an actor so it is a real name 😂😂 he was actually in secret invasion
So, opinon on the Cavillrine?
Guys its not a CGI ... 😢😢😢 Hugh Jackman 💛💛💛
32:00 seems like psychic + reality warping
Honey Badger is a Marvel character. Pretty sure she's a clone of X-23. She's basically the ferocity of X-23 with the snark of Deadpool.
EDIT: The amateur Strange was probably a variant who accidentally sent himself to the void when he got stranded on Everest.
EDIT 2: The guy with the red ponytail was from Deadpool 2. The guy during the X-Force auditions who said he was basically better than them at everything.
EDIT 3: You can see Hugh failing to keep a straight face during Johnny's rant at the end.
I don't think Johnny actually said that stuff at the end, I think Deadpool did some video trickery lol
Dermot mulrooney is a very famous actor from late 90s to early 2000s lol. Its a real name
Dermot is an Irish name. I've a cousin called Dermot.
@@elijahczardaquio6999 that’s correct
If Kevin Feige´s family name is actually the german word "Feige", you would pronounce it like "Fai-Gé" but the e is said like in "elephant" not like in "beard"
I'm guessing it was just a joke, but just to clarify, if you are getting arrested, you do not need to be read your miranda rights unless you are being questioned about the incident you're being arrested for. So many people seem to think (because of TV I'm sure) that you need to be read your rights as they are hand cuffing you. Sometimes they'll do that just to get it out of the way. But it isn't technically needed until its time to question you
Yup lol
I see we're just going to pretend "Blade: The Series" never happened. It's all right; I do something similar when people try to tell me there was more than one Highlander movie.
8:44 A common Irish name. (I watch a lot of Irish People React/Try channels)
Lee you hate Toad, but if I recall you like Froppy right?
Understandable, have a nice day.
Lmao i do like Froppy hahaha
I love the references in this movie,
I’ll keep asking this, but does anyone have a reason why they made PeterPool’s package that ginormous?😂
8:40 what about actor Dermot Mulroney from Young Guns, Scream 6, Dirty Grandpa, Anyone But You, Angels in the Outfield, and the series Shameless.
I find funny black people making fun of someone's name 😂.
"White Boy Summer" is how you make a superhero movie. guys being guys, all "toxic masculinity" in all its glory. I thought this movie wont age well but re-watching it the jokes still lands. which means its a good popcorn movie.
If you watched logan they explained why therewas no more mutants born in 25 years and the same explanation was used for why logan was dying ,, it was thefoodand water that had chemical in it tookill mutants and plus the adamantium was a small factor
I don’t remember that. But seen it. Thanks for explaining
(still watching) Extra thanks for recognising the irony of honey badger comment!
Haha. Yea. I respect em because they are tenacious against lions, snakes anything. After watching the movie. I found the wolverine is would best a honey badger because it has more tools. So the level of insult is hilarious with more context.
Genius humor.
Like calling a Great Ape, a monkey lol.
Or a lion, a house cat
There are more armature magicians in marvel than just Stephen strange it could have been a Wong variant
The head takes a lot of healing time so basically a coma
i think wolverine made his peace with what he did and find a new friend in wade wilson aka deadpool
Not Dr. Strange.... Ned Leeds' 😭 sling ring.
Juggernaut remembers that the paws go 1st which is why he didn't attack right away
😂😂😂
Goooood call back. I still use that today. Letting other reactions channels go first lol to see whats hittin
Need to put Lady Deadpool in another movie and add Gwenpool, lol.
Omg yess
1:12:32 I 100% believe that Deadpool set him up 😂😂
In the 1st Deadpool movie, Francis was British right?
Nah you don't replace the intro song.. later ✌️
I had copyright claims within UA-cam
Love your reaction but should I watch in Full movie....? i like wolvetine but deadpool...? I'm not a fan of him....😮
Yes
You guys haven't heard of the actor Dermot Mulroney.🤔Captain America's shield is made of Vibranium, not Adamantium.
But Adamentium is made with Vibranium. Hence the comment about the shield
1:14:52 you guys are talking about x men origins wolverine 2009
16:22 😂Is THAT what they say?
Wow why does mister Lee look so buff
Working out fam
Boxing
Dermot Mulroney is a well known actor, so there is one person out there 😂
Ha
2:22 start to lip read
Maybe it wasn't Dr. Strange that Cassandra killed. I like to think it's actually Peter's friend, since he became an amateur magician in the of Spider Man no way home XD
Ohhhhhh lmao. Damn. You right. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I personally thought of the amateur magician from She Hulk that accidentally opened a portal.
Supposedly Strange's cloak is there on the chair
