And being born in 1990 and seeing Blade and all these movies in theaters growing up, awesome superheros being done epically on the big screen, seeing these payoffs just really hits hard.

@@maximillianosaben yeah not just the Fox Xmen movie universe but all the Fox marvel properties aka the other universes or franchises that Fox created like the Fantastic four movies
@@leohino9211 - No, I'm referring to the 2015 Fantastic Four that was considered a massive failure, with a whole lot of turnoil behind the scenes. Featuring Michael B. The best thing about the Deadpool movies is how faithfully Reynolds et al stay to the core of Wade Wilson's being. As violent as the character is, his belief that he's in a cmic book/movie is what opens the door for *ALL* the funny.
1:00 My breh in Christ, my man Wesley Snipes showing up made me jump up out my chair in theater. There's only one Blade and there only ever gonna be one Blade.
I can only describe my reaction to Blade showing up as "joyful assault" because me and my best friend went and he doesn't care much for the grounded, darker side of comics like Blade. Doesn't matter, cause I was practically boxing that man's shoulder in excitement. 💀
Everybody killed it in this movie. And Gambit made my year. Also the "beef" between Ryan and Wesley was extremely exaggerated. They were always cool with each other.
All those stories began with Patton Oswalt running his mouth, and there are too many reasons to list on why you should never trust anything from Patton Oswalt. The last person to trust him ended up dead, and that was his wife.
2 things I loved about this movie. 1- How Electra didn't seem to care that daredevil is dead. That tickled my funny bone. Second, hearing how much Chris Evans had fun filming the insult reel lol I mean, don't get me wrong, I LOVED everything else. but I also loved those two small things
Not true. The Wolverine in the comics is 5'3". The actor that stood in for little Wolverine was only 4'10". So nearly a half a foot shorter than the comic's version.
Same. "I took a knee, and didn’t get back up" That line hit me. Hard. After my dad's suicide, my brother's death from overdose, then losing my sister to an overdose as well, I completely broke and completely detached from life. I quit going out, I went from job to job, etc. One of the first things I did when I got tired of the darkness and wanted to reconnect with life, to reconnect with myself, was I took myself to the theater to see this film. I had a blast. I laughed, I was blown away by the action and the cameos and the fight scenes, and I was touched by some absolutely fantastic writing and great acting. I didn’t expect to shed a tear seeing this film, but I did. It was great. I'd been numb for quite a while. Life is short, kids. So do the things. Go to the places. Take trips. Grow. Forgive yourself. Value yourself. Be as decent as you can and have fun. ✌️
In a deleted scene, They show Gambit lives. Ryan Reynolds has been pressin' hard to make the Channing Tatum Gambit movie, and dear God I hope they follow through with that. I loved this movie so much, and the second that I started watching this movie I was happy. I got teary eyed a few times watching this movie. It’s hilarious and a beautiful love letter to the fans and Fox. I hope we get more R rated marvel as well. I loved how you’d light up every time there was a cameo and a new character came in, and you knew almost all of them. Juggernaut (Cane Marko) is Charles’ half brother. Cassandra was his paternal twin that shared a womb with Charles. His powers were apparently already manifesting in the womb and he was trying to kill her and damaged her mind. She is absolutely insane, but her powers usually differ slightly from what they showed in this movie. She was a great villain. This was another amazing reaction!

But now, it's reconciled for me, lol! Elektra reveal was great also. Gambit was my fave X-Men so I'm happy they finally did him right (wasn't initially thrilled by Channing Tatum but it's grown on me so I'd be on board for another of this Gambit's appearance in Marvel).
