This saved my life, my wife at the time went her own way and left me with our daughters, and things got worse home got reprocessed, trying to work and look after the girls, I got so depressed, only thing that saved me was my girls and this track, 25 years later I still listen to it, and thank god I’m still alive
I can you understand you so good 🙏
Yes, music can help save a persons soul
Mine was Alison Moyet All Cried Out
Peace/Blessings to you Dave B
I understand so good. You will survive and your daughters will come back to you. They need you. Good luck my dear. I"m a german and we have it very bad in this time. You have it as well. I know.
The manner in which she was treated and blacklisted, horrible. She was an abused child, in pain. She never escaped the abuse. We see you Sinead…and hear you.❤
❤
Thank you Sinead O'Connor for your music and your voice. I hope you finally found peace.
Yes May she finally be at peace. Such a beautiful Soul and talented artist

@@blackberet747you have been beaten since you are a baby by your own psycho mother? She left you living in the garden for months when your father gone? She abused you mentally and sexually? She locked you in a room without a lamp for a weekend? She tried to destroy your reproductive organs? She died when you got 13? You needed to go to an institution? You got a forever trauma because of that? You had a rocket carrear in a industry who banned you after you call evil people out being so young? You had a lot of pain in love life and got bipolar disorder because your damages are so rooted it spreads to your loved ones who lives you one after other, husband after husband, sons and daughters? Tried to take your own life? Had a mastectomy?was left in a psychiatric institute alone to the point begging on line to your family to gets you some help and love? Your teenage son, only 17 took his own life? Can you understand the level of "struggle"? Can you understand why somebody leave a kind comment to that soul? Cause you don't need to be a genius to understand that.
RIP Sinéad O'Connor (December 8, 1966 - July 26, 2023), aged 56
You will be remembered as a legend.
❤ you never left us

LEGEND 🔥💛🌹
RIP Sinead, I hope you are at peace and reunited with your beloved boy
A truly unique and beautiful singer-songwriter who spoke the truth about the Catholic Church before most of us were prepared to listen and accept. Exceptionally gifted and tortured soul. I hope you are at peace now, Sinead. 🕊
Yes, but it's only some of the evil infiltrators in the Catholic Church, not the Church itself which Jesus created. There are saints as well as scoundrels therein. "And the gates of Hell will not prevail against it."
It was written about Peter Gabriel
And she got no vindication for her bravery and conviction.
Thank you for singing for us.
Sinead, you wouldn’t have remembered me, but we ended up in some chat room years ago when you were so angry, and so hurt because of what people were saying about you. You are so strong and yet so very human with tender feelings. Such a deep profound sense of justice and right in a world where justice and right so seldom prevail.
I sang various versions of this song to myself 2013, 10 years ago, when I was hiking the Appalachian Trail. I thanked the trail and the sky and the trees. I thanked the rain and the rocks and the roots, the mountains and the creeks.
This song reminded me of all the things we have to be grateful for and helped me find my Place in the Universe.
Thank you
Thank you
❤
❤🌹🍀
❤
I bought her first album as a teenager, and it single-handedly helped me endure the very abusive and neglectful household I grew up in, and for that I will be forever grateful. 💖💖💖

The tears are finally coming after suppressing the news since it came out. We’ve lost an angel in the flesh and my heart is broken. Sending my thoughts and prayers to her loved ones and to the souls like mine that she touched greatly. I didn’t know you, and you didn’t know me, but I love you and pray you find the peace on the other side that you couldn’t find here.💌
Black woman from Brooklyn. I love, love, love Sinead O’Connor. She’s welcomed in my home forever.
The soundtrack of my life would include Sinead O'Connor during a pivotal period of self discovery. Many times the most talented among us are also the most tormented. A beautiful, misunderstood and underappreciated voice we have lost. Rest peacefully.... You are free from all that haunted you ❤️
You are so right about the ppl who have been through the most are usually the more productive in the arts, music, etc. Personally playing the piano was my thing growing up.. it can and usually is not worth the inner pain I still too this day experience!
The voice of an angel … This world was never meant for one as beautiful as her
actually it is meant- meant for ALL of us as beautiful as hew. It's just been corrupted by the darkness of a few. And what they want is for the rest of us to give up and give in.
You for hearing, Loving, helping, breaking,
healing...
The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34:18
Thank you for breaking my heart, thank you for tearing me apart....... Always brings a tear to my eye.
me too. this whole song
My dear Sinead, your passing made me cry. Thank you for being part of the OST of my youth. This is one of my favorite songs by you so that's why I came in here. Peace!
According 2 U - her passing made me cry 2! God bless U! Hugs'n'kisses! 😘
I am crushed 😢…your passionate and uncompromising artistry touched us and spoke to those who got it…RIP beautiful soul…thank you for sharing your voice that sometimes we didn’t merit hearing…you are freed from anything that haunted you…fly…be free…be happy forever…🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
this comment made me cry
Thank you Sinead. May peace and power be with you forever 🖤🖤🖤
Thanks for sharing your voice with us through all the years, and touching our hearts with your words. Rest in Peace
❤
Trying to write a eulogy for my dear friend who passed- This song is my dedication to her. Thank you, Sinead. Rest in peace.
Thank you Sinead, for all your spherical wonderful music. This song saved my life in so many times... I hear you, I feel you, I love you, I cry for you... Your music never dies
❤
I saw her sing this at the Fleadh at Finsbury Park in 1995 and her voice was soaring and magnificent. What a voice, what a person and what a sad sad loss. Rest easy lovely and brave lady
Thank you Sinead for speaking truth and being so honest with us! Rest In Power!! 💖🙏🏾
She gave voice, her strong and unique voice to the weak people ... sleep well beautiful irish angel and find your peace 😔
Listening to this after praying the Muslim Funerary prayer over her. As a fellow Irish revert, she occupies a special part of my heart.
I would sing her songs to my son while he was intubated in the NICU. I'll never forget the way he opened his eyes while I sung her songs to him, looking at me with this look as though to say "please help me, mum". Now he's a wee older, but finally home and in my arms while I sing her songs to him.
Indeed to Him we belong, and to Him we return.
Thank you, Shuhada Sadaqat, formerly known as Sinead O Conner.
May we sing together in paradise one day. You were always searching for the truth. I'm sure all the prophets are waiting to meet you. Rest peacefully, my Sister in Islam.
I sat in my truck and listened to this yesterday afternoon after hearing of your death. You deserved so much better in life. I've been a fan for over 30 years. Your music has been part of the soundtrack of my life, but this song has been my go to. God this hurts. I love you.
so beautifully written. she got me through so much, through motherhood especially
Devastated to hear of your passing today. Thank you for your artistry and honesty and activism. You were such a brave individual. :(
❤
♥️🎵 One beautiful song. Rest in peace Sinead ♥️
Thank you, Sinead, rest in peace with your beautiful blue eyed Shane💖
About 21 years ago I was playing in the residents lounge of the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney. I took a break and went for a wee nosey in the VIP lounge of the INEC. I went in and there was a girl playing the cello. It sounded beautiful…then Sinéad started singing and the sound was celestial. Pure crystal tone and no amplification.
She had just finished playing her gig and this was her winding down.
I rarely use the word awesome unless I’m actually in awe. And I was, so this was awesome in the literal sense of the word.
Last year I watched the new documentary about Sinéad’s life of controversy. She was mocked and pilloried for telling the truth about the Catholic Church. She’s since been well and truly vindicated.
This song is a fairly recent find for me but it’s a special one.
I hope she finds peace on the next phase of her journey. RIP
I never stopped listening, and you never failed to inspire me. Rest easy, love 🖤♾️🕊
❤😥😢
I'll be listening to Sinéad until I'm old and deaf, and even then I'll be watching her videos and singing along.
Thank you for singing to us! Thank you for inspiring us! Thank you for teaching us! Thank you for everything! Sleep in peace, our dearest Sinead!
I hope you're hugging your son right now. Gone but never forgotten ❤
That music sounds like she is saying goodbye to this world. Its beautiful and yet painful to me. Bring me tears.
One of the most sensitive and amazing amazing Vocalists of our Time.
Absolutely
And so underestimated 😔
The world is better with you in it.

I imagine it to have given you such release, rest in peace Sinead…. I know pain too, your suffering is over. I heard you 🙏🏻
💔may you find the peace and rest in Heaven. Finally an end to the struggles of life
This was the song that really got me into Sinead. In my opinion, Universal Mother is her masterpiece.
What a stunningly poignant song in hindsight. "Thank you for breaking my heart", such beautiful words. Her quote from the Nothing Compares doc, "they tried to bury me, but they didn't know I was a seed" has stuck with me. Such a smart, talented, courageous woman. RIP, you deserved so much better and I only wish this outpouring of love for you would have come when you were still with us.
Absolute perfect artist. Leave her alone

Gracias
❤🩵💚🧡🌈 I dedicated this song to me. Thank you for seeing me. As im closing cycles with toxic behaviour by family ( incest + blindness by other family all my life to what i need as a family ) one of the most painfull thing i had still have to do. I finally let them hear my voice. I cut out all family, even the closest ones who cant hear me or see me or do not support me and what i need as a family. People who went through sexual abuse should not be pushed aside to deal
With life alone and need support, love and to know they are heard. I felt as if i sang for Sinead as well for raising her voice despite all who did not hear her.
I Love you Sinead O'Connor and thank you for your voice. I pray that all who went through being casted aside in any way, much love and healing. Sending healing and love to wherever you are Sinead O'Connor 🪽🩵💚🧡🌈💜⭐🪷💖
i just had my last class with my favorite teacher and he told us to go listen to this song after the class ends and that it holds his emotions about how he feels about teaching us thorough the 4 years.
i’ll never meet a better teacher than him.
Just made me tear up🤍👈
Me too! Beautiful story

Beautiful song
How important Sinead so that we have a better world now
RIP Sinéad 😢😢 your unique voice will be with us forever ❤
Thank you for hearing, seeing, loving, leaving, holding, helping me.
Love Sinead so much. She touches my soul with her voice.
Qu'elle voix sublime !
Quel talent !
The world tends to hate truth-tellers - until they're gone. Sinead - may you and your beloved son be lit with blessings.
You transform the world, Sinead.
Thank you for singing to us. Thank you for singing to us, Thank you for singing 4 us. Thank you for singing 4 us. Thank you for speaking the truth. Thank you for speaking the truth. Thank you for acting the truth,. Thank you for acting the truth. Thank you for sharing your light. Thank you for sharing your light. Thank you for showing us the light. Thank you for showing us the light.
Thank you for making me stronger.❤
Sinead- so ahead of your time. Calling out the church, suffering for your beliefs, few have that bravery. Your spirit and courage will lift and inspire as long as mankind exists. Thank you for all of it.
This song really hits hard right now because it feels like she's saying this to us now after she's passed away ❤ First it's like she's talking to her fans, then the line about breaking her heart and tearing her apart is like it's to the haters. I know it's not about that, but it feels like it...
I saw her sing this at Glastonbury '95...I'd been a fan before, however I left that festival loving her. This song helped get me through some dark days thereafter. Thank you for loving us Sinéad and leaving us these many gifts. Vaya con dios.
thanks for being given life in this world ,my parents and the God
You saved many lifes before taking your own.......thank you ❤
Beautiful song and beautiful soul. Thanks for all your music. Rest and peace, Sinead ❤️🖤🖤
Self-discovery with every relationship I've had.....her look sums up my entire youth. Rest in peace beautiful soul and sharing your songs and voice with the world.

Just casually crying in my car because of this beautiful song I have on repeat. Thank you for seeing me Sinead.
Glad we could hear you for as long as we could Sinéad. RIP. May your memory be blessing, beautiful soul.
Thank you for being you. Fearless, strong, and beautiful. My heart is broken.
Such a soft strong strong song. Vulnerability in action.♥️
Your music always touched me deep in my heart. Thank you. May you find peace. ❤
