Lou was Foreigner, in my opinion! His voice is Iconic!! He's a Legend. This video was full of Beautiful people who sound so awesome! I always get emotional when the choir comes in and sings. It is just Gorgeous! Such a Timeless Classic!!

A visceral flash just took me back in time when I heard this song ... I have quite fond memories of it, along with this whole time period! And people can laugh at the fashion of the 80s, but I adored my big hair, fingerless lace Madonna gloves and stepping out of my very battered Firebird with my ankle socks edged in lace with a pair of pink high heels... 😉

Anton I gotta say my friend you always know how to satisfy me. Foreigner is one of my favorite bands from the 70s and 80s. Especially when this song comes up...oooooh man the chills I get sometimes during this song, especially at the end when Lou hits that really high note. Lou Gramm is definitely one of the greatest rock and roll vocalists ever. I was also imagining what would it be like if me, you and everyone else in this community of yours got together and did our own music video version of this song, with Foreigner's permission of course. But still that would be so amazingly awesome. Anton you have so much love my man. My brotha from another motha.

Lou Gramm has such a good voice to my ears. He also had a solo career after Foreigner. He had one pretty big hit called Midnight Blue. It was more a rock ballad than a ballad ballad if that makes sense lol.
Favorite Foreigner songs are Waiting For a Girl Like You, Blue Morning, Blue Day, Dirty White boy, Head Games, Double Vision. Love their rock songs more, but Lou's solo hit is my number one song of all of them. You'd love it.
I checked the song by Kiss that you did, and I see where you hear a similarity. Paul's voice sounds a little higher and a little smoother than Lou's overall because Lou can get a little bit of grit in his and more passion (to my ears), but their tones are similar, yeah. :)
Keyboards are a thing I love too like Elton John and Genesis music have a lot of.
The ballads you did are good, but Foreigner is mostly a hard rock band so check out:

This is when I stopped listening to them. I loved them before the 80’s pop change.
That happened with a few bands. The Cars, Aerosmith, Styx. I know bands grow and I have even stuck up for that. But I preferred the music they had before horrible 80’s pop. It felt like a sellout
do not compare the lead singer of this band to kiss, kiss has no real talent and this is one of the best bands of all time

I didn't hear him compare Foreigner to Kiss, but rather Lou's voice here to Paul Stanley's voice in the song he's heard by Kiss. Comparing vocals of one singer in a specific song to another singer in a specific song is nothing like comparing the two bands, although that would be cool to do too, honestly. I hear the similarities in tone that Anton mentioned between the vocals here and in the other song, too, btw because I went and listened to it. I'm not a Kiss fan, ftr. :)
I honestly couldn’t name you more than 1 or 2 kiss songs, but to say they have no talent seems a bit harsh. Musically, like I said I have no clue really, but I believe they must have at least been pretty damn talented as marketers to because so popular, if indeed they had no musical talent. So they were definitely talented
