They were FINALLY Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2016! Long deserved! 🥰🎶
You couldn't stop hearing this song during the summer of 1988, and it reminds me most of summer camp. God I wish my camp mates were in my life right now.
Seems we all have our stories about this story. Just graduated and went on a camping trip with my buddies on a lake. My one buddy always tried to catch this ugle fkn duck to eat and I laid on a picnic table listening to the radio and it seemed it came on every 15 minutes. I was debating over which of the 2 girls I would be with when I left for the army in Aug. I did pick one and believe it or not, after training I went to Germany and by July 4th, I got a divorce. sucks. but I LOVE THE 80S
THAT IS WHY THE 80s WERE THE BEST !!!!!!!!
One of my top 10 bands ever. Great singer.
Always loved this song
This and "Surrender" are definitely my favorite Cheap Trick songs! Great one!
Oh mate when you say you haven't heard this song before you best to sit on the floor and enjoy the moment lol 😅😂
I always ♥️ loved this beautiful rock ballad. I Want You To Want Me is a great song too.
Saw them in Oakland CA and when this song was played everyone had their cigarette lighters up…. Needless to say the entire place smelled like aqua net and hair on fire 🔥 LOL. They did a great concert and I managed to grab one of the pick off the floor (changed guitars for each song) … got my hand smashed pretty bad but hey 👋 YOLO right.
Beautiful song 🥰.
I saw them open for Motley Crue in 97 and they didnt play this song. I was bummed
Great choice. Also consider Anne Wilson (Heart)/Ronin Zander (Cheap Trick) duet Almost Paradise. (Footloose ST). (Power ballad).
Hey, new sub here. You got me to sub a couple weeks ago because of your fascination with Matchbox Twenty. We have the same taste in music, I was 15 when MB20 released their first album. Anyway, man, I haven't heard this song in a while. One of the best songs ever, I have so many best songs ever though.
Chicago did that song "Look away". I love that song too!
Cried many teenage tears over this song from broken first love break up🥰
you should check out Don't be cruel (Elvis Cover) by Cheap Trick they kick that song up a notch
Cheap Trick is just as good today as they were in the 80s. This is actually one of their newer tunes and it’s awesome. Xander can still kill it!
Aerosmith, Angel
Def Leppard, Hysteria
Cinderella, Don’t know what you got
Great White, Save your Love
Does Ribin Zander have pipes or what? Another singer like that is Getty Lee from Rush.
I can rock with them, but I confess this will always be my favorite.
Saw Cheap Trick in Bezerkley in the early 80s.
Then again first concert after COVID restrictions drop at Reno's Atlantis Casino Showroom😎
That's Rick Neilson on the 5 neck guitar.
Hey!!
Thanks for the upload. I was actually surprised by this. It’s such a great song. 😊 Great reaction!!! ❤️
Their only #1 hit...and one of their few songs they (primarily Rick Nielsen) didn't write. And both "The Flame" and Chicago's "Look Away" (written by uber-hitmaker Diane Warren) hit #1.
Hey Anton, do you know why a lot of your older videos got deleted?
It’s most likely because he’s merging the channels together and will be uploaded again. 🙂
A very simple song.
Damn, the 80s had the best music in every genre--what happened? Music for at least the last 25 years has sucked.
