This is best comment on here(and I didn’t even read any other comments yet ctfu lmao 🤣
Lol
“I’m not arguing w/ you, because it’s open to interpretation, but that’s *bullshit.”* 😂 man I love the way Joe Budden talks sometimes
He's so annoying 🙄 😒 😑
A fucking Virgo lol
He a clown.
Why does Joe keep talking over people when he thinks he's right or matter or fact in every instance? its ok to not be correct let other people have an opinion too...
Must be new here
Because they do the exact same thing to him of you pay attention. They all talk over each other. Also I think he might have ADHD, which would explain a lot of his behaviors.
Thats just joe lml have mal and rory use to get it more 😂
I really wanted to hear the other opinions!
EGO - Joe always been that way. This is why Rory & Mal are gone - it's his show! I barely come here because it's annoying after a while listening to someone who likes to hear himself talk.
“Crafted for fuckery” THAT part. 🙌🏼
I like that word energy. And how they used it. The way the music sounds all the way down to hertz and frequencies matter and how they suggest how you finna act. Shit wicked.
You sir know your shit
Wickedness will be downfall of mankind.
Yup. Been looking into that shit myself So I can manipulate it
Facts...frequencies and how music is crafted matters
The Astro World incident is a good example of how things can go from normal to the worse case possible in a matter of seconds. That's why it's always good to have an escape plan no matter where you are, be prepared and always pay attention to your surroundings. Normally you'll get a "bad feeling" when something bad is about to happen so always trust your gut.
I agree
Travis dropped a song called No Escape on the day of the festival.
They sold too many tickets for not enough space - greed got to them and they way they handled security was even worse! I have been to many concerts & festivals if you're not close to the stage, it makes no sense to try and force yourself up front. I have a great time being in the 3/4 of the crowd, I can see the stage and when the show is over, I get home faster.
Some of the people there had no idea of the chaos happening til the news got out
@@progressivelife841 it's called the escape plan not to be an asshole but just to point out how accurate it is to what u typed
This is where the podcast be in its bag. We all come for this.
the capacity of the entire venue was 200,000 but the show was set up for 50,000. not sure if you are familiar with setting up stages, but the venue can adjust the show setup to however many tickets are sold as long as its not exceeding the venue limit (200,000). But again, the GA set was set up for 50,000 (meaning fortified fences set up around an area fit for 50,000). He enticed to many people to break in that the show set was immediately over crowded and the fortified barriers around the set could not be toppled over. Creating the chaos and hellish environment that lead to lost lives.
Wrong, the concert is in a festival space. I’m told of they fortified fences were only set up in the front, middle and the middle of the back of the performance area, much like rolling loud. So the capacity was okay it’s just how the performance area was set up it made it overcrowded. This is where design flaw lies. the two big screens in the back created the biggest problem and was the main reason so many people were having issues with suffocation and injuries. I was in the front of the crowd at Astroworld at first and we had to go in the back by the screens and go around. This is how many people got stuffed and began to suffocate because they were trying to get out.
Bullshit too many people were pleading with him to totally stop the show.......he incited that craziness!!! AND he was one of the organizers of the event. The fact that it was pretty much the whole crowd that was in distress, HE needed to be the one to take the situation into his hands to make sure things got calmed down and people were ok....but he didn't care. And it's going to hurt him in the end.
Not his fault.
It would blow your mind to eventually know that the concert was meant to happen and some people were meant to die due to TS's greed
They hired security on the spot not trained professional security
You’d expect more from live nation , who was hired to organize the event & also the biggest event coordinators in the world
That's the other fact that is gonna get them sued real good!!!
He told them to sneak in, know all facts
EXACTLY, it's *HIS* shit. You can't take the benefits or the amazing publicity of the show being a big hit but then be absolved from the bad stuff that happens when things turn bad. He deserves some blame.
That’s because if the show was a big hit, it would be down the actual show. This tragedy has nothing to do with his performance, it was about safety and logistics.
@@Gino565 Which comes with owning a show/event. You can't reap the rewards but when things go bad pretend like you have no hand in it. It's his event, his name is signed to it, any person who has their name attached to something should do everything in their power to make sure nothing goes wrong, and you know what the first step is? Not to tell your obviously crazy fans to find a way into the show anyways even though it was sold out.
@@johnrossi6189 Irrelevant. If the show was celebrated, it would be because of the performance, which is on him. The reason the show isn’t being celebrated IS NOT because of the performance, it’s because people died. Your equivalence is incorrect. People dying isn’t strictly on him, it’s also on Live Nation, security, and Houston PD. Just because it’s his festival, that doesn’t mean he’s responsible for literally everything. Isn’t that obvious? He didn’t organise the event, he didn’t hire the staff, he didn’t work out the logistics. So like I said, your comment doesn’t make sense.
@@Gino565 I never said it's fully his fault, I have said time and time again on different comments under this video that he isn't fully at fault but is still partially at fault. And if 200k people joined the show and didn't kill anyone, if they were properly spread out or if the show went off without any issues people would celebrate it or say he had a successful show. Besides that, again it's HIS EVENT with HIS name on it, he SHOULD be taking a more hands on approach. He has people *he* assigned to do those things so that's him giving his co-sign. You can't receive the money from it but then act like you aren't at fault at all. The show only went crazy because of his doing, because he told his crazy ass fan base to jump barricades in the past or even this show when he said "show is sold out but we will get the wild ones in anyways." You guys are picking at straws, he would still benefit if this event went off amazingly, he would be getting praise for *more then just his performance* if this event went well, they would say how he can really "control a crowd" and how he can put on an amazing event, so no, it's not just about him preforming.
@@Gino565 Also, if you look up Live Nation you can see the amount of lawsuits the company has because of negligence and people getting hurt, so again, Travis or someone he PAYS should have looked more into Live Nation.
Sometimes Joe needs to realize that he is not always right. Stop cutting people off, stop making it about your own interpretation and stop getting so damn defensive when others have a different opinion, smh
I've seen a member of a legendary hip hop group jump up a speaker, then jump/ climb up two balconies to knock out a dude who was beating up his girlfriend during a concert.. I just kept thinking of that when you were talking about 'what do you do as a performer when something happens in the crowd'.
Peace and love to everyone.
I have seen plenty of artists pause concerts for safety concerns. He did not stop the show for the ambulance. He seen the ambulance, there were people dancing on the ambulance. Cmon
If I'm not mistaken,
TRAVIS TOLD MORE PEOPLE TO SHOW UP!!!
HE IS TO BLAME!!! NOT THE ONLY ONE BUT YOU CANT SAY THAT HE ISN'T !!!

They starting to get mad they can't never get a word in 🤣🤣🤣
That “energy” in songs he’s talking about, FACTS. Big emphasis on what you’re listening to and how you listen
People are not talking about how the music took these kids to a different place emotionally. Add thousands of other feeling what you're feeling. Amplifies everything

Joe's narcissism shows when he's podcasting.
Them: "i don't think its travis' fault, its because of the overcrowd, you cant control that"
Travis: **encouraging people to sneak in after they ran out of tickets on social media**
Ice plays devils advocate to the weakest situations. Watching a live doesn't give you full justice on what was going on .
18:07 that’s not hip hop doing the mosh pitting. Travis’ fanbase goes way beyond hip hop. Those ARE the kids that do know how to mosh pit and come from that culture. You just probably shouldn’t mosh pit when there’s 50,000 people and there’s like there’s like 8 sections that are so full that no one can really move.
Agreed. His demographic does not know a Nas record.
There is a new demographic tho . It’s not just the ppl that listen to Nas no more. There is. Youth that grew up listening and they built different and don’t value what the previous generation valued. It’s a cycle.

Show could've been shut down as soon as they broke down those barriers
And what you think would’ve happened after that ? The crowd who ignored stepping on people was just gone go home ?
@@jerseydevil1 maybe they wouldve rioted, a lot of injuries, multiple arrests, but probably NO deaths. Xantastic is right, they shouldve cancelled everything the second they broke through those barries.
@@sublimelove23 lmao bro if you think no deaths would’ve taken place with thousands of unhinged fans left astroworld and spilled into Houston you’re crazy , in the army ( I’m aware this isn’t the army but its kinda a great way to access wether or not you’re gonna do something) our action briefs consisted of if we weighed the pros and cons between each choice & tbh I’m not sure the best choice would’ve been shutting the show down
@@sublimelove23 that’s where you’re wrong. If there’s riots, especially on the streets then Police are obviously going to get involved and you see what happens when violent kids meet American Police. People die. This festival was going to go one way or the other and I believe this could have been much much worse
They talk over each other too much
It's crazy how they somehow find ways to justify Travis's behaviour. It is not that he was just the performer, it was also his festival. That means, his responsibility is beyond performance. I don't care if he stopped the show 1 or 2 times but he should've stopped it when he got approached by staff to stop the entire show because the backstage section was already filled with dead bodies and yet he still continued. No empathy, sympathie or excuses for this!
That’s just no true false info, if anything Houston PD should’ve stopped it
No HE TOLD A SHIT LOAD OF PEOPLE TO SNEAK IN..
Yep
16:30 that’s exactly what happened. My brother is a first responder in that area. They went to the promoters prior and they declined their service.
Gov Ball has canceled many times for safety reasons, Rolling Loud also removed Cassonova and Pop Smoke last minute for safety reasons.
They dropped the ball when you make only one entrance and one exit. People were caged in and couldn’t get to the exit because people in the back were rushing to the front so how people in the front suppose to get to the exit??
I blame everybody but before the show was out of control…
According. to the Houston Fire Dept, things went wrong at 8:15am when the Police radioed for their riot gear to be delivered to them.
Also have to take into account the lock downs and how it primed us to be exploited at every level, from shifting us to a delivery only consumer base to everything
Every time I see Travis Scott on video, he’s always treating people like shit.
Facts
This event was staffed with more police and security than the World Series however they couldn’t tell the promoters that a mass event was going on for over 30 minutes. Festivals are different than concerts. This isn’t the first Astroworld either. Part of Travis persona is his social awkwardness.
I agree, but it gets very weird when people don’t understand this has been Travis persona since day 1 , they just assume he doesn’t care , I would ask tho .. how should someone respond on the internet to over 8 deaths , it’s a lose lose situation.
He seems DUMB to me....
Since Rory and Mal left... This is the first JBP episode iv clicked on... Fact... And its just because I'm studying this case in detail and searching all the content on it I can... Not because I'm a Joe Budden fan
Yup it’s just not the same anymore
What mainly caused the deaths was the layout of the stage. Even people before the concert were saying it wasn’t gonna work and people ignored it.
30:55 LMAOO Joe got me crying 😭 “ohh yeah.. this incites a riot”
Yeah people snuck in without tickets, but Travis Scott also encourage them to do that very thing before the concert. He said this whole recipe up to be a disaster… No doubt
They are only sticking up for him because in the beginning of this video Joe said they work closely with Live Nation. Completely bias

This is the best, most well researched take on this topic. Respect
Do you watch Bro Sanchez on UA-cam?
Well researched? They didn't talk about his horrible apology video (unless this came out before that?) Or barely talked about the things he tweeted, including the deleted ones he had. They barely held this man accountable for the partial blame that is on him.
@@johnrossi6189 pretty sure it was before that happened because they only referenced the pr apology, he didn't come out with that video until a day or 2 later
@@mattslocum5740 Ah gotcha.
@@johnrossi6189 i think they did a much better job than other media. They mentioned it not being an 18+ event, "if my child died and I watched that apology it wouldnt alleviate my pain", they brought up the lyrics "it aint a moshpit if there aint no injuries", the understaffing and joe discusses that travis' fans dont know who he is because his team purposely hid that. I think it was a much more productive conversation than speculating on if travis saw people dying or not (which i believe he did)
I was waiting for this from you guys.
Me too!
Why
What about when they clearly seen the ambulance and he kept performing
No excuse but he probably sees people passing out every show he does .
@@DYLWhk How you gonna say no excuse then literally make an excuse for him. If you see an ambulance trying to get through to help someone you don’t perform another song and continue to hype the crowd up even more. And decent human being would have stopped the show and told the crowd to clear the way for the ambulance. Travis is a scumbag.

A lot of great comments here n I’m hyped to add my input. Since Joe wants to cover everything so will I.
1. “Ni**as die haha” yeah, people do die. Usually from bad intentions or negligence from self or others, which leads to 2.
2. Sure the kids were negligent but let’s look at the big picture. What kind of music is being promoted that influence these young impressionable minds? sex, drugs, violence, and chaos.
3. “Music is deeper, it has energy, frequencies.” What kind of energy are you promoting? Mosh, drugs, violence aren’t positive energies. You make and perform these songs knowing the content behind it. Energy doesn’t come from words but your spirit and it transfers. As a global idol, rapping negative energy to kids encourages them to behave how you tell them because you’re rich, famous, and popular. It’s simple psychology that people, especially teenagers will act what you portray because they subconsciously think if they act like that they’ll be like you and have all that you have.
4. You’re an (influencer) as a career, so your influencing these behaviors. If I was a plumber and rated as the most popular and I told y’all adding faulty pipes is the way to go and many died, it’s my fault. I was either stupid or had I’ll intentions.
5. “But all the money made from this”. This goes to greed and putting wealth over safety and human lives. Travis, you’re the puppet but you’re boss makes the agenda and his boss and his boss. You signed up to be the mascot for it and have money and fame because of it. It’s not only the rappers fault but EVERYONE in the entertainment industry promoting this lifestyle since Hollywood was a thing.
Added note. The Illuminati was founded in the late 1700s and promoted many elites to this day because they were punished by the catholic priests seeing how they were a satanic cult. Notice how life has changed dramatically since then? Hollywood, cars, T.V’s, celebrities, fall of Christian views.
Last note. At the end of the day, satan has been using others since the beginning of time and this is the last trick up his sleeve before time is up for him. Get right with god y’all, me included.
oh god, that fruit stand line killed me lmao
I hope these dudes on a limited contract because they are more of a nuance that cohost
Great recap. I think coming back outside played a major role in the fall of crowd control.. dangggg 3something for a ticket is crazyyyyy. These mosh pits are definitely not for our Culture either. I wouldn’t attend one of these concerts for the Life of me. Still not blaming Travis tho.

It’s 50 yr old experienced us VS these new generation festival goers. Our view don’t mean ish !!!! These kids lost. And my own kid is ready to rage at an upcoming 3 day festival in December. And where is the proactive announcements? Dammit.
They finna hold travis scott more accountable than Donald Trump.
He's been arrested TWICE for this exact reason. He egged on some fan to jump off and he's paralyzed. Really!! Now it's 9 people dead.. one is the nine year old little small boy with his dad. His dad passed out n his son got trampled. Its so breath breaking.. He surprised his son who loved Travis, got the Travis Scott McDonald's meal, shirts etc. His grandfather called Travis out.. I think he said if you were really sorry you'd be here. So sad. Travis egged his own fans on. He n the team are responsible. 10 young people are dead. It's so sad.
I hope it don’t get worse, but it’s worse. Wow. Great segment ! I love the way Joe controls the convo. Sometimes they try to rush through it and it’s much better when Joe controls the convo to really help break down the situation. You did it Joe. 🖤
one thing I miss about that Bumb Rory and Milli Mal, when Joe talked, they shut the Fuq up, they offered nothing. These dudes talk way to much for me.

I can’t watch Joe Budden. He just needs to have a show by himself if he won’t let anyone else talk or make their points. Why do these men continue to work with him and get sonned. Is the check that good?

So nobody saw the clip of the 2 staff guys talking to Travis on stage and he shoo'ed em off saying "yea yea all that, all that. Who told me to stop? Yall know what yall came here for." Exactly highly disappointed in the position they took here. 30 minutes about money made and maybe 4 or 5 minutes on the loss of life 🤦♂️
Agreed he is at fault but those were fans that were on stage for a “stage dive” they weren’t part of his team. They were strictly up there for jumping off of it and after the next song dropped those two jumped into the crowd. Not disagreeing, I thought the same thing. Just fact checking
Bro Stop spreading misinformation yourself like a puppet, “he said two hands in the sky”, not “who told me to stop”, and he said two hands in the sky for the people about to Stage dive like the previous comment mentioned to you. Like bro did you even watch the stream or just cut tik tok clips?
