i love seeing hair routines that includes washing hair frequently. not only it’s more realistic bc the majority of people can’t go 3/4 days whit out their scalp looking like a greasy mess, but it’s also more relatable for someone like me that has to wash it at least 5 times a week unless i want a oil factory on my head
that depends what type your hair is. You can have 3 days without cleaning it and it's okey. Just style your hair like she do, a bun, a braid or something like this. If you wash your hair too often that can damage it because you dont let it breath and do the sebum that he need.
@@namelessmisajp over washing is damaging for hair but i can assure you that for me it’s not bc it’s not over washing in MY case. i tried EVERYTHING and my scalp still get oily in less than 24 hours, it’s just what it does. for me it would be much more damaging to wash it less instead of everyday bc healthy hair needs an healthy scalp and an healthy scalp needs to be clean
@@lonelylittlemermaidMaybe try cleaning your hair brushes. If you see those hairs..ur putting more oil on the scalp. Like she said, dont put so much product on your scalp. Also a tip, brush your hair at the bottom first! I like how you care about your hair
@@waviiethere thank you for the tip, but i already tried cleaning my brushes. i actually do it once a week and i also scrub them and put them in hot water so they are super clean, but that still doesn’t help. i really tried everything on this earth but my scalp stil get oily super fast bc that’s just what it does, and while is super annoying i just accepted that that’s just how it is
@@lonelylittlemermaidyou probably just have oily hair. Double shampoo and make sure your hair towels, pillowcases, combs, brushes, hair styling tools, flat iron, blow dry brush are clean regularly. Use a volume shampoo that has sulfates. It helps clean hair well. Avoid moisturizing shampoos or any that are milky. Stick to clear consistency ones. Clarify once a week if needed.
thank you so much for this. i’m a teen, just now realizing how damaged my hair has actually gotten. i kind of went into panic mode when i found out because i know like nothing about hair and how to keep it healthy. but finding videos like this is really relieving. now i can finally start my journey to get rid of my split ends and shine my hair up!
I've seen so many methods for oiling your scalp (using a dropper, squeeze bottle, scooping oil out of a bowl, pouring it out of a bottle etc.) but your method with the plate is the one I found to be the best for me and is the one I use. Thanks so much for such an amazing idea!
There are flaws in that air drying vs heat drying study. Every beauty magazine and social media personality just ran with it. Far starters hair has to be wet for long periods of time. Like if you have thick long hair that takes forever to dry and you wash it everyday. The study needed to specify that. So many people like myself hair started to thrive when heat was ditched. I just wish everyone would stop jumping on one study. Social media is littered with half truths because of that. Also putting hair back in À tight style while wet will break hair so yes having it dry air or otherwise first is better. Just throwing that in.
I mostly air dryed for a few years and always had scalp problems always blaming every shampoo I used. But I also often went to bed with wet hair. I dry it with a hair dryer on the coolest setting (nothing expensive one from Remington) since this winter and my scalp problems got already a lot better. So guess it depends on the person and hair type if it works or not. I have relatively fine hair that gets oily really fast.
My hair doesn’t take an entire day to air dry but I have noticed my scalp has a strange odor and can be flaky(not dandruff or noticeable in hair but if you rub it some come off) when doing so. However when I use my dyson blow dryer & stylers, that odor and flakes are no longer an issue. So I’ve noticed better results with blow drying instead of air drying. I always thought air drying was better but I feel there are setbacks from that even when I used to air dry for years prior. If you’re blow drying don’t forget to use a good heat protectant & taking breaks in between to air dry is fine.
Wait. I air dry and I’ll put my hair in a small bun after I shower smh. I have Polynesian hair so it’s kind of thick but not to the point where it’s considered curly? If that makes sense. You guys think it would be better to blow dry on the coolest temp? My scalp has felt like you guys explained and I too thought it was my shampoo. I’m basic so I just been using head and shoulders tbh. I always cut my hair when it got long even after I told myself that I was going to cut it. I’m a male so i would buzz it all off and just start again when I wanted to grow it back. I just wish I would’ve taken better care of my hair. Like put the time in to do a routine for a more healthier look.
@@None-93 blow drying on cold won’t dry hair properly. You need to use heat, either medium or high. Use a leave in conditioner and heat protectant before blow drying. Hair oil on ends after. Cold air on a blow dryer sets the style. So after using hot air and styling your hair you can use cold air to set. Just like when you wash your hair you need warm water to remove the dirt but the cold water rinse at the end locks everything in and can give shine. You never wash with cold water.
From this, I started to noticing that, THE MONEY MATTERS guys!! :') I'm a student, I have no jobs, and living with my parents, and we aren't that rich also, and in my country, hair products like olaplex, ordinary for skin care and hair, etc etc they are so damn expensive tho. 🥺
Hey Audrey. As a teenage girl with full of insecurities you are the best thing to have happened to me. I've been following you for the past 2 years and i can't thank you enough. There's been drastic changes in my skin and hair and which also gave a boost in confidence all thanks to you. Honestly, I can't thank you enough for everything. Ily
Hey!! 🥺 Your message made my day. I'm so grateful to have been part of your journey, and it's amazing to hear about the positive changes you've experienced. As for your hair concerns, I understand the struggle with humid climates (my hair looks completely different in humid climates compared to dry/non humid climates 🫠). Here are a few tips: 1. Use a sulfate-free shampoo to cleanse without stripping the hair's natural oils. 2. Invest in a lightweight conditioner to hydrate without weighing your hair down. 3. Consider a leave-in conditioner or serum specifically designed for frizz control. 4. Trim regularly to get rid of split ends and prevent further damage. I hope this helps!! 💕✨
Invest in a shower head filter … use a silicone based oil like ogx coconut oil spray to prevent your mid and ends from getting dry from the sun and to take the frizz.. and use a hair mask once a week.. I was wondering if washing your hair upsidedown gives you better results ? Do you feel your hair cleaner or is more easy and less time consuming? Thank you for all your Beauty tips ❤❤❤❤ Btw, you look amazing with your baby belly 😊😊😊
I started to wash my hair upside down sometimes because you really get to clean your scalp more thoroughly and get to clean those areas that are often not cleaned as well if you just wash your hair while standing normally. Like for example the areas closer to your next and middle of your hair.
Love your hair! How is it so shiny even when you let it air dry? I have dull and frizzy wavy hair. I have old bleach on the ends, growing it out but still my own color is frizzy. My tips dries really fast, like 5 min. But the roots take maybe couple hours.
