This is my all-time Led Zeppelin favourite song. ... since 1973 --- and thanks for playing it to the end. Spiritual ? well, Love is Spiritual for as far as I am concerned.
John Paul Jones is truly an amazing part of Led Zeppelin! His engineering was incredible! Also don’t forget Bonham’s drums were also great!! Of course we think of Jimmy Page and Robert Plant! Reilly an incredible band with no two songs alike! Best band ever!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much, Harri - this has always been one of my fave Zep tracks, and, in my opinion, one of their most under-rated. And thank YOU for not giving up before the end as most listeners do! 🙂
Thank Cosmo for me because I'm loving these Led Zeppelin reactions. My husband brought me here for Bob Dylan, who is his favorite. Love Bob. But LOVE Led.
From the 2nd Led Zepplin album, Led Zeppelin ll, from 1969, this was the first song Robert Plant wrote all the lyrics for. A beautiful romantic song, with Robert's beautiful vocals, along with Jones on the Hammond organ filtering through out with such grace, Bonham on the drums adding definition along with the chiming acoustic guitars. One of their best songs. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Cosmo. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
What's great about this song & band is that they demonstrated how they can be tender one moment & then rock out witha jam like Rock & Roll The Stones did some slow jams too, with Angie as my favorite😎👍
Thanks, good job ❤. I like LZ II+IV in every mood, they are energisers. For I+III I have to (be able to) let myself go a little more, I love all 4 because of their variety of musical styles. HOTH has three start masterpieces, then sags a bit for me before the album picks up again towards the end; maybe it's just the order of the songs, that I skip since 1973. Live, most of the LZ songs become gems, not polished, but musically enriched!!!
This is easily one of my favorite love ballads along with Still Loving You by the Scorpion's. Both meant a lot to me as a teen and young man. Thanks for the flashback!
This song was the very first song I had the DJ play at my wedding reception... Even though the wife and I have been separated for 6½ years, I still feel this way about her. It is my love for her that allows me to be completely OK with her inability to handle my completely life altering disability... Another beautiful, softer edged, LZ song is "Going to California." I often wonder if I love this song so much because it immediately follows "When the Levee Breaks."
precedes* not follows And no, I think you would love it no matter where it was. And btw, Harri's already reacted to the original, as well as the JPJ cover.
I hate to sound shallow but there's 2 things I love Most ... Men with Long Hair and English Accents. When I was a little teen in the hippie era I wanted to marry an Englishman so we could move to England, have our kids have the English Accent and then we all move to the US. 😅
First time ever heard this didn't recognize who the heck it was, 2015 final season, final episode, final scene, True Blood. Finally put on voice recognition and came up with this song and the artist. At first I thought this was Burt Cummings from The Guess Who thought it was a Guess Who Song. So so wrong. So I finally got to recognize it few years back first time. Glad you get to enjoy it first time now have a good one.
Great call Cosmo - this is one of LZ's finest! I can't say for sure that this is true, but I have heard that Zeppelin was challenged to see if they could write a ballad by George Harrison and this is what they came up with! Hopefully someone who is more tuned in can confirm or deny! Harri, when you get to "The Battle of Evermore" you need to do two reactions - first the original by LZ (featuring the only time they used an outside vocalist on any of their tracks) and then the amazing live version by Heart! You will love both!!
Thanks, keymack. Correct story, wrong song. It was, "The Rain Song". Harri's not reacted to that one yet, but I will be sponsoring it in the future. However, he has reacted to, "The Battle of Evermore", which I sponsored maybe 3 - 4 months ago. Do a search for it in his video archives to see his reaction.
I rate, "The Rain Song", much higher than, "Thank You", as a song. But the latter I believe slightly edges out the former in terms of romantic lyricism.
Harri, I guess you missed it, I think your eyes were closed, but at 6:27 I put an alert on the screen for you, regarding the upcoming false ending. Glad you waited it out even without seeing it. :) Thanks for the great reaction!
This false end is a way of musicalizing the verse of the mountains falling towards the sea and some time later resurfacing, the two of them will still be there.
Love watching your reactions but I really can't see any connection between this romantic love song and Sympathy for the Devil! My brain can't compute that one!
This song is so freaking good, I often have trouble deciding if this or Stairway to Heaven is my favorite LZ song. If you need anymore recommendations for Zeppelin songs, I would suggest Down by the Seaside, Boogie with Stu, Black Country Woman and The Battle of Evermore.
Who is the Allahu akbar is the greatest now rock and roll bands who is the greatest band of all time led zeppelin is their doubt know the best guitarist Jimmy page Robert plant the best vocalist John Bonham the best drummer and John Paul Jones the best base player I mean they are the best rock and roll band ever case dismissed
But all the popular bands admitted to being influenced by the blues artists. The good thing is all those ripped off artists were able to resurrect their career and make money due to these acts introducing them to a bigger audience. They also got royalties from then covering their songs.I think it all ended well 😁✌🏾
My wife asked me to pick the music she walked down the aisle too. This was my choice. Beautiful song
Beautiful story to share. Thank you. Just celebrated my 40th anniversary with my wife!
Gone and coming back..............so beautiful!
Man, I miss that music and life during that time.
This is my all-time Led Zeppelin favourite song. ... since 1973 --- and thanks for playing it to the end.
Spiritual ? well, Love is Spiritual for as far as I am concerned.
"Tangerine" is another soft, romantic Zep song
One of the greatest love songs ever!
Harri You’re the best
Beautiful masterpiece of course. The most beautiful ending of a song ever.
One of the best love songs ever made.
So beautiful! I' listen this song so many times.
Oh yeah 😎 great choice! Thanks Harri and Cosmo!
This is in my Zepplin Top 10 list because it is a bit softer & romantic, yet retains Rock elements.
Thanks so much, Harri - this has always been one of my fave Zep tracks, and, in my opinion, one of their most under-rated. And thank YOU for not giving up before the end as most listeners do! 🙂

You should check out the live version as well.
This one is my favorite Zeppelin song! So smooth! ❤️
Was my wedding song in 98 .. lost her in 2016 .. Cancer sucks .. Thank you Harri
My heart goes out to you sir, I hope that you can keep the great memories with this song.
Sorry to hear that, Bob. Too young.
What's great about this song & band is that they demonstrated how they can be tender one moment & then rock out witha jam like Rock & Roll The Stones did some slow jams too, with Angie as my favorite😎👍
Very beautiful ballad...Jimmy sings harmony on the chorus in this one!!
This song got me married Ha Ha! So it’s Jimmy’s fault too!!

Along with Rain Song and Ten Years Gone, among Zeppelin's best "light."
Great song.
I love this song by Led Zeppelin, one of my favourites. Thanks Cosmo and Harri.
My pleasure, diane, glad you enjoyed it. :)
I LOVE THIS ONE, always have. It is just a majestic piece, and the lyrics are perfect.
No! "The Rain Song" from 'Houses of the Holy' is their most romantic song! Well, "10 Years Gone" from 'Physical Graffiti' might be as well. :)
❤..... thank you ♥️🇿🇦
I love this song so much! The words and music will be played at my Celebration of Life. This goes out to all my family & friends ❤
This is easily one of my favorite love ballads along with Still Loving You by the Scorpion's. Both meant a lot to me as a teen and young man. Thanks for the flashback!
Cosmo - Excellent Zep song. Harri, wonderful review.
Appreciate it, Dave. Stay tuned for a cover of it.
@@Cosmo-Kramer I will be waiting. Your submissions are too good not to.
This song live from the Paris theater has one of Jimmy's best solos ever.
Yes. There’s a similar but more graduated version on BBC Sessions! Check it out!
Such a beautiful song. LZ, GOAT
Long, LONG time; since I'd heard THAT, Harri! (Thanks!)
JPJ on keys and everything else
My favorite 😢❤
You’re welcome.

My friends favorite lz song. Always play this on anniversary of her passing 5 years ago. My 2 and fav song.
Yeah, I can hear a sprinkle of psychedelia. Not hearing "Sympathy" though. Such a beautiful song.

Robert's favorite rock singer was Burton. He sounds like Burton here 3:52 which makes me wonder if it was deliberate.
One of my Zep favorites. Tori Amos does a great cover of this song.
Coming soon...
Thanks again Harri!! I really appreciate your reactions my friend. You’re always positive and honest. Signed The GOATS…
Thanx MR J

@@Cosmo-Kramer Thank you I will!! Thanks also for the clarification!!
Nice Harri
I beg to differ with Cosmo! Zep's greatest and most romantic ballad is RAIN SONG!
I rate, "The Rain Song", much higher than, "Thank You", as a song. But the latter I believe slightly edges out the former in terms of romantic lyricism.

I saw it when editing 🤣😂😁..My eyes were closed..i was feeling the music 😁
@@HarriBestReactions I should've known the organ would get you to close your eyes. :D

Best rock band of all time.
🥰🥰🥰
Chris Cornell does a cover of this that is simply beautiful!!
Love watching your reactions but I really can't see any connection between this romantic love song and Sympathy for the Devil! My brain can't compute that one!
Gracias por tanta música buena Harri..... Eres el mejor
If you're a sucker for organs then ELP's FANFARE FOR THE COMMON MAN LIVE AT MONTREAL STADIUM is a MUST!❤
If the Northern Lights were to make a sound it would sound like JPJ organ on this song.
Plant wrote lyrics to this to his wife. He's divorced now
you should listen to luke evans sing The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face.

Led Zeppelin is guilty of "borrowing" music from poor blues artists.
But all the popular bands admitted to being influenced by the blues artists. The good thing is all those ripped off artists were able to resurrect their career and make money due to these acts introducing them to a bigger audience. They also got royalties from then covering their songs.I think it all ended well 😁✌🏾
Many, many artists borrow music. There is nothing new under the sun
I can't believe that guy's name is Cosmo Kramer. Tell him to say hi to Jerry, Elaine, and George.
Giddy up!
psychedelic ????????????? What????? No way! rolling stones???? What!!!
